IntrOducti0n Your RPC lives in a small, pleseant town called... You guessed it, Anchorhold. Life has been good here and the food plenty. What will happen though, as fueds fester, love deepens, weapons are drawn, and more than one kind of fire lit. Strange noises have been coming from the forest lately, and rumors fly that more villages are in the distance...
Will your character become royalty? A member of the Army? A rider of some strange beast? Who knows... RP and find out!
Several NPC's exist in the town that you can interact with, as well as jobs you can take. Eventually the RP could develop into several villages, not just one.

Due to the PG-17 rule, anything past this will result in an automatic death without trial. In other words, if you think you might be pushing it, DON'T TYPE IT!
I ask for the highest level of maturity when dealing with that rule also. Please do not use this RP as a place to drain your 'turned on-edness'
You don't actually need my permission to kill another RPC, just the character's controller's, but please use common sense. There's no need to kill everyone's character in the very beginning of the game. stare

Soon after he had been accepted by the new family, his real parents dissapeared after a trip into the forest. Although it was always sad to see a ember of the small village go, Jordan was probably the least affected by his parents' dissapearence. After the new family considered him one of their own he was forced to change his last name from Charson to Clearwater. When he reached adolesence, he found the ability to run faster than almost everyone in the village, except a few of the scouts who are trained to run fast. Failing most of his school classes, he chose instead to be well-learned in using a kanto or a shortbow. Still not talking to many people, most of the villagers think he is dumb. Personality:Although he has a very complex mind, he never gets close enogh to anyone for them to notice. This is what forced many people to arrive at the conclusion of his stupidity. He enjoys being alone, and hates large crowds that feel like they are crushing down on him. Jordan is slightly depressed and spends most of his time in the woods or in his house. He, unlike most of the villagers, chooses not to submit to a religion. He beliees that if there were a God... or a Godess, that deity would have never let his parents abandon him. His hair is nearly all gone, but what remains of it is a steely grey. His nose protrudes from his wrinkled face.Bio:In a monestary with other monks, who's sole job was to defend the innocent with their skills. However, he was not wise enough to make a truly good monk, but they trained him over many years, until he was very old, by the standards of commoners, but only slightly older than average for a monk. He was sent out into the world to defend Anchorhold from the coming troubles that would surely arrive. However, this was not his sole reason for accepting this. He wants to become a true monk and return home in glory and fame, becoming something for the monestary to be truly proud of, and to finally fit with the other monks. He, over the other monks, learned more of their fighting art than the rest of them did, and became very competent at many weapons, but the weapons he truly prefers are his fists and feet. Personality:Somewhat angry, but still kind, old man, and he realizes that he is no longer young. He is humble from the training that he received, and he tends to understate things. He has a nervous tapping of his foot, not surprisingly when he is anxious or nervous.Disposition:Kind to everyone younger and not as wise as him, which is practically everyone, because even though he was not wise by comparison to the other monks, he is pretty wise, not extremely, but pretty wise. He gives advice to the others, and helps the royalty, but his true allegiance falls with the commoners and their problems. If a commoner need his help, unless he is helping another commoner, he will help them, abandoning posts, forsaking duties for their problems.Job preference:An all-around handyman is the job he takes on when helping commoners.Weapon:Fists, feet, elbows, knees, head, rest of body. He fights with his body, what do you expect? At a young age he was taught the ways of the sword and the fist by his neighbors, most of them masters of their own styles, and thus gained a great understand and mastery of many different styles. However, this community was found to be an encampment of revolutionaries against the feudal lords, and was eventually attacked by the armies of these lords. His parents now slain, Rajin and a small group of elite warriors banded together to carry out their revenge upon the feudal lords. It was during this time he learned the secrets of alchemy and how to create explosives. Rajin and the revolutionaries were successful in their goal. However, word spread throughout the land and the allies of the fallen lords began to take matters into their own hands. Though the group went their separate ways, one by one they were assassinated by the feudal lords’ allies. Rajin was able to escape their wrath and fled to Anchorhold in an attempt to hide. He knows it is only a matter of time before the feudal lords expand their search beyond their boarders and attack him once more. Personality: Rajin is a relatively positive individual. He is comical, analytical, charming, and daring. He is the type of person who can start and maintain a conversation with anyone, regardless of the topic. He thinks himself very lucky, finding that no matter what the situation he emerges victorious. Rajin inherited a deep-seated rage from his father, but he manages to keep it in check, never truly having unleashed it. Disposition: Relaxed, but alert. Job Preference: Alchemist. He was also in charge of the store while his parents were busy cleaning or skinning. Zero’s mother became distraught over losing her husband and became very sickly leaving a 13-year old Zero to work to provide for himself and his ailing mother. Personality:People often say that he is cold and a little too quiet. He just prefers the quiet compared to the noises that pollute the world. It is his belief that actions speak louder than words. Saving lives fascinated him, as if to define his life's dream and aspirations. Soon he became a semi-successful doctor and currently runs a small clinic nearby the inn.Personality:Sendral often disappointed with his work, always wishing he could do better. He values others lives over his own and is constantly studying new methods of surgery. AbhorAge:13Race:HumanAppearance:AtamiaBio:Atamia was born as a water baby in a tub surrounded by blood, and, well, water. When she was 5, she was given a dog to hide the fact that she never talked to people. Her parents thought that a dog would take her mind off the fact that she was mostly - or completely - friendless, or even give her something to talk about with the other girls in the village. But, alas, Atamia still couldn't make any friends, and didn't try to. Day after day, when she came home from school, she would walk right past the dog and up to her room, where she would sit in the tall window seat and watch all the other girls and boys join together, playing and laughing and running, having fun. The dog would usually follow her and put it's head in her lap. She would scratch it absentmindedly and stare out the window. And she would talk about her day to the dog, who she was sure wasn't listening. Just talking. About how she was being bullied, or how she wished she could be as good as all of everyone else, or just her wishing that her life was a bit easier. And one day, the dog talked back. "Now, that's just self pity," said the dog. "and there's only one cure for that." The dog bit her hand, and she yelped, withdrawing it. Without thinking about what had happened, she yelled at the dog. "Ow! That hurt, dog! Why did you do that?" The dog smiled. "Well, now that you're done pitying yourself, can we go for a walk?"
Later, after the dog spoke several times, Atamia concluded that she was going insane. What other explanation was there? Dogs had learned how to talk from humans? Exactly the point. She didn't dare tell her parents about it. She asked the dog questions, such as "How can you talk?" Which was usually responded to with "How do YOU talk?" Atamia couldn't answer that, as she had pretty much forgotten by then. Once she asked the dog what it's name was, but the dog just said "I'm just 'Dog'. You called me that when you got me, and I won't be called anything else. Would you answer to anything but Atamia? Exactly."
After that, Atamia started to doubt her sanity, as I said before. But what can she do? Whenever she thinks she'll tell someone, she wonders how sure she is, and if the dog really can talk, then Dog would probably be taken away. Her one and only friend, gone.Personality:Atamia is very quiet. She's not shy, she just doesn't know how to talk to people. Whenever she's about to say something, she wonders if it would be considered 'appropriate' to the situation, and she shuts up. She takes her dog with her everywhere she goes, because Dog is her only friend.
When alone, Atamia is more of a fighter type. She trains in all arts of fighting, such as hand to hand, fencing, swordsmanship, archery, and others. She also sings a lot, and sits on her roof to practice. She's what's known as a sky gazer, as she sits in the window seat and on the roof more than often. Morning to watch the sunrise, noon to watch the clouds, and night to look at the stars. She can also be very childish, running around in her backyard laughing, playing with Dog.Disposition:Atamia really doesn't talk. She's got a habit of writing what she wants to say and passing over the pad of paper. She does talk, sometimes, but she's scared of people most of the time, and doesn't really do much around them. She'll often look at the dog while she's talking to people, when she really has to say something.Job preference:Blacksmith, if that works. That's what her father does.Weapon:swords(2, one fencing type, one broadsword), bow and arrows.Special skills:A lot of dexterity, able to run fast and do all sorts of stuff on a high bar, including jumping it. A very good fighter, and pretty strong. Not super strong, but stronger than most 13 year olds.Other: Other than dog, there's one other pet in the house, a cat named Moggot. Recently, he started talking to Atamia. Dog is female. Also, Atamia is bisexual.Username:FangedFireflyCharacter Name: Tyr Hawthorne Age: 18 Race: Human Appearence: Tyr's hair is actually quite long when it's down, and her eyesight isn't the best. Bio:Tyr's been alone for most of her life, she was orphaned as a small girl. Mostly through staying with people when she was too young to earn money, and then through hard work, she managed to get by. She stays in the house her parents used to live in before they went missing, or died, or ran away; no one really knows what happened to them. She was only two when it happened and if she saw anything she hasn't said anything about. The only thing that's really positive is that a month after her birthday they were gone and Tyr took to following people around asking for food. During that time Tyr became rather self-reliant, not wanting to seek help from others, and extreamly introverted. As a child she avoided other children at all costs and kept to herself, drawing or reading anything she could get her hands on. Now that she's older she still avoids people at all costs and she avoids talking to anyone period if at all possiable. She keeps to herself and seems to have a phobia about being touched, avoiding it at all costs and appearing to get sick if someone does touch her. Despite this she does continue to work hard to help out and earn her keep. Personality:She's very shy and introverted, she's actually quite a sweet person but she's afraid of pretty much everyone and what they could think about her. She likes to keep to herself because of her general fear of people, and it doesn't help her get out more that she has a bad reaction to being touched. In truth Tyr is a really kind and caring person, sweet and eager to please, but she lets all of her doubts and fears stop her. She's the kind of person who tries hard to please everyone and doesn't let people see how far they're pushing her. Because of the fact she puts everyone else first and herself last she often ignores her own emotions and needs, and in the end becomes very depressed. Under the shy smile Tyr is actually really sad and lonely. Disposition:If at all possiable Tyr avoids interactions with others, prefering to keep to herself, but if she must talk to someone she normally does so in a very quiet and meek voice, hesitating before speaking and carefully picking her words so that she doesn't offend anyone. She'll do anything within her power to help someone who needs her help, and she does her best to appear happy and calm. When it comes to smaller children her phobia about being around people doesn't seem to bother her quite as much, and she'll often hang around them and laugh, sometimes even playing with them if she doesn't have something else she needs to do. Job preference:Librarian Weapon:The closest thing to a weapon she has is whatever book she has on her person. Special skills: She's an excellant seamstress, she can make tiny delicate stitches that make the clothes stronger for wear and tear, and she can even embroider. Tyr also has a skill with drawing and painting, though they don't get used as much. If it's a job that requires delicate and small fingers and attention to detail, she can do it. Other: Tyr seems to have an odd ability with convincing people to do things, all she has to do is ask and for the most part people turn to putty in her hands.

NPC's and Purpose Wren Tauqe-[Female]- Wren is one of the counil leaders in the village, she is pompous and slightly cocky. Although she seems to look down on people, she is very wise and gives excellent advice. Age- 63 Husband- [N/A]
Alfred Pearson-[Male]- Alfred is another council leader and deals with the agricultural issues within the village. He is the favorite of most people and often times, his advice is followed over that of the other council members. Age-54 Wife- Annabell Pearson
Annabel Pearson-[Female]- Annabel is Alfred's wife and she is unemployed. Sitting on her small porch, she often times is knitting scarves and other clothing for the villagers. Age-56 Husband-Alfred Pearson
Eran Shortings-[male]- The youngest member ever to be in the city council, he is mainly the organizer of public events and recreation. Distrusted by many who think he is a fool, most of the villagers think he should be taken off of his post as a counciler. Age-23 Wife-N/A
Derrick Leasling-[male]- A traveling merchant who's donkey, named May is always laden with exotic goods ranging from foods to tools and weaponry. Not much is known about this man, except for the fact that he travels to all parts of the world. Age- Looks around 35 Wife- Unkown
Angela Coleman-[Female]- This woman owns the large market in the middle of town square, often times she buys Leasling's products in large quantities, and then in turn sells them at her market. She had been married at one point, but her Husband died in an accident in the woods. Age-47 Husband- [Desceased]
Mark Freeman-[male]- The town guard, he is an expert swordsman and is brave, if not slightly stupid. He is the trainer of all potential guards and watchman. He is very trust worthy and believes in a code called 'The Knight's Honour' Which was taught to him by his father. Age-28 Wife- His girlfriend is Alexia Spuwhicker.
Alexia Spurwhicker-[Female]- She is an immigrant from some other part of the country and never speaks of her past. Although she doesn't have a real job, she is payed to do run errands for other people. The only difference between her, and normal people from Anchorhold is her skin and accent. Her skin is bronzed and seems glows brightly in sunlight, while her accent is heavy and enlongated. Age-26 Husband- Her boyfriend is Mark Freeman.
Pastor Dickfur-[male]- Understandably his name has given him some problems over the years, but the pastor for the small church is good-hearted/. He looks out for the village and loves to see someone succeed in something they have worked hard at. He is the oldest person in the vilage. Age- 86 Wife- Forbidden to marry.
John & Enrich Anderstide-[both male]- They own a connected building and John runs the armory and the tannery while his brother, Enrich runs the smithy. They are both looking for apprentices. Twins, they do everything together and are very kind. They harbor a secret from the whole town though. Who will figure out what it is? Age- Both 18 Wives- N/A
Terrence Waxel-[Male]- Terrence owns the large Inn next to the market, there you can buy food and drink. He is rather boisterous and enjoys meeting new people. He is one of the couple people in town with access to large amounts of tobacco, so he smokes quite often. Age-43 Wife- Sarah Waxel

Jobs
Alchemist- These people work for the good of those around them, using plants and parts of animals. They have arguments with traditional medics about how well their treatments actually work. Taken [Solomen Marquis]
Surgeon- The counterpart of the alchemist, surgeons always try to prove that alchemy is inferior to traditional surgery. [Preferenced by: Death-Mage]
Smith- Creates armor and weapons to sell or give to the militia in times of need. Usually smiths our great in strength because of their ability to work metal. [Preferenced by: Clara33]
Hunter- Hunts for food and brings it back to the village. Sells most of the meat to a market or in a self-owned market stall. [Preferenced by: Eclising_Silence]
Tanner-Creates leather items and clothing for people to buy. Uses Animal hides from the hunter. Or hunts himself.
Watchmen- Watchmen take shifts in the towers out side of town. When there is reason for alarm, the most common way to notify the town guard and militia is by blowing on large horns.
Monk- Servants of their church, Monks usually live in monestaries. Isolated from an early age, they are released to help commoners after years of exstensive theological studies. Taken [Red Phoenix48]
Town Guard- Self explanatory.
Librarian-Self- explanatory. [Preferenced by: FangedFirefly]
Explorer/Scout- Scouts the countryside outside of the city and brings news back to the city and guard captain. [Preferenced by: Sorrows Falling] If you want a job that isn't on the list just put it in your PM

((I assume it's open now? OK!)) Taran strode down the road with the gait of someone who knows what they are doing. The mans wrinkled face tensed at a near inperceptable rustling of a bush. "All right, All right, stop trying to hide. What do you want from me now?" Queried Taran, with a slight undertone of sarcasm. The seventeen bandits stepped out of the bushes, amazed that anyone had heard them. "Your money or your life, old man." Said the one who was obviously the leader, because of the gems set into his helmet. The men were about average height, holding swords, spears or bows, and a metal helmet that resembled a skullcap, and wearing leather armor. "And why..... Should I give you that?" Averred Taran "You cannot take anything from me that i cannot take back." The bandit king snarled and stuck his sword to the old mans throat, keeping careful watch on the walking stick "Then we'll take it from your dead body!" At this instant, the man dissapeared from the sword's edge, and a foot erupted into motion behind the bandits back, breaking his spine with a sickening crack, breaking the man in two. The now smiling old man laughed. "Come on, try me, i'm only a unarmed old man." The spear-holders lowered their spears while the rest of the bandit's readied their weapons and attacked. Just as the first bandit reached him, Taran punched straight through his head, jumped on him, did a flip and kicked two more's ribcages through their chests. Another hit with a knee and that man wouldn't be walking ever again. The archers loosed their arrows at him, but he dodged them easily, but one found its mark.... Or so the archer thought. The man waved his hand, and the arrow hit it, bouncing off. After dodging three swords, a hit with either elbow left little head left to see with, and another couple of attacks killed the remainder of the sword-holders. As the spear-wielders advanced, jabbing, Taran jumped on one, ran its length, and kicked the mans head clean off. Three more fell as the head smashed off their own, killing all the spear-wielders. Seeing their companions slain so easily, the remaining archers ran off, deep into the forest. "Young whippersnappers these days. They underestimate me always because I'm old." Taran took the helmet and prised the gems from their sockets. "These will fetch more money for the orphanage. Wonder what they'll be used for." Taran set off down the road, to reach the gates of anchorhold an hour later. "I need to speak with your elder." Commanded Taran to a guard. The guard pointed down the road, and Taran set off that way, watching for any people of interest along the way.
