"Welcome to the forest. Unlike Gabriel I'm not about to formalitize everything. If you want to know where something is then ask me. I'm not going to give you the grand tour." Marcus sighed, pulling back a wall of vines and things which concealed the entrances to his treehouse. "We're going to have a blast though." He smiled, tugging on a lock of his black hair.
"Have fun Marcus...and don't hurt yourself!" Marie added as an afterthought. "Marcus is 'accident prone' or, at least that's what he says...I'm not sure if I should trust him...oh well, let's go see a movie in the cinema."

Violet giggles. "Xan is accident prone too. He always forgets about his gigantic wings and strolls into things. The cute little guy."
"Little?" Xan growls back.
"You're Kiz's baby, so you're mine too."
Xan grumbles dejectedly.

"I just tend to..walk into things. Or trip." Marcus let go of his hair to look at the newcomers. "So what do you want to do?" He asked, his voice a tad quiet.
Marie giggled at the comment. "Nice to meet you both, Xan and .... I never got you name." She said to the lady beside the winged boy.

"I'm Violet, darling. And--"
Xan stretches his wings, the wingspand nearly covering the hall smoothly. "Viollllettt. I want to fly. You haven't let me fly every since this darned war began. Stupid Rishma, stupid Mimitah. Would they just get over themselves!"
Violet rolls her eyes. "He's been like that ever since he found out about war. He loved flying between the lands, and now he can't or he might be shot down." She smiles, with a fond look at the dark colored spirit fox. "Sorry about him. But I didn't catch your name either," she comments as she holds out a hand for Marie to shake.
[I'm thinking that this can be staged in the Forest of Spirits, Rishma. Is that all right?]

"Flying? If you want to fly then follow me, we've got a gym. It's got really high ceilings, usually for parachuting." Marcus yawned. He rotated his shoulders and started walking down the hall. "coming?" He looked behind him at Xan.
"I'm Marie, Marcus' guardian. I also take care of Gabriel, but I figure that he can take care of himself for now." Marie shook Violet's hand and smiled.

Xan’s eye brighten with enthusiasm. “Flying?” His wings flutter as he shifts in excited anticipation. “Here?”
Violet rolled her eyes. “Are you going to repeat every word he says?”

"In the meantime how about you and I go see a movie?" She asked Violet. [again, Mel's FIL mule] Xan grinned, slightly mischevious. He shot into the air, and then vanished into a haze of glitter, which vanished with him after a moment.Violet smiled after a moment. "He loves showing off his powers, but yes, I'd love to see a movie. What do you have in mind?"

Marcus opened the door to the gym and grabbed a hang glider from the nearby rack. He climbed the ladder to the ceiling beams and jump off. "Having fun yet?" He asked Xan.
"We're not sure what Marcus' powers are yet, but I'm afraid of what they will be when he gets them." Marie gave a nervous smile and looked down the hall that Marcus had disappeared down. "I was thinking something classic...like the Nightmare before Christmas." She headed down towards the west hall.

Xan grinned as he appeared next to Marcus. He was thoroughy enjoying himself, and he loved the feeling of the wind blowing through his wings. He continued to grin as he dive bombed off of the high rack, and twirled in the air like a puppy learning to fly.

Marcus jumped off his glider and started to fall. He hit the floor rolling, managing to cut himself on a misplaced rock climbing harness. "Oops." He stood up and brushed himself off, licking the wound.

Marcus looked from Xan to the cut on his wrist. "Nah, I'll be fine. I'm very 'accident prone' so I'm used to it." He said, the smile on his face holding evil in it. He walked over to where the glider had crashed and picked it back up. "I just need some chalk so that my hands don't slip off next time."
