[AKA rhubarb pie]
Putting down his guitar, Syd left, dressed a bit nicer than usual, but still casual, freshly shaven and his hair gelled nicely, he wanted to look good, this was special. He left the house without telling anyone, like usual. For all they knew he wouldn't return for a few days, but he could care less about their worrying. He sighed, grinning slightly as he walked, taking in the scenary more than usual. It was late afternoon and the sun would set in a few hours, and, Sydney figured it'd be pretty, and he knew of a good place to watch it from. He walked down a small little path leading up a hill, passing by some interestingly colored flowers-some orange, some a strange mix of red orange and pink-and he stopped, staring at them and thinking. Finally he decided to pick just one, and continues walking. Once he got to the top of the hill, flower in hand, and he sat down, staring at the horizon, across all of namiah, and he waited.

Calum exited the shed, closing the door and silencing anymore kissing noises from the sniggering Kurai inside. He looked around the empty yard before turning and heading to where he was supposed to meet Syd. His ripped and bloodied white shirt had been traded in for a silk shirt the color of the night sky. It was about 2 sizes to big for him and littered with wrinkles, just the way he liked it.
Nervouseness clawed at the inside of his belly, this would be his first date. Questions raced through his head as he drew closer to the hill. Was he supposed to bring something? Or do something? Should he have dressed better? Before he knew it he was at the hill. His hands twitched rapidly as he looked up and saw Syd at the top. He hurried to the top of the hill.

Syd sighed, staring over what he thought was the area of forest he'd spent the night in, Dreville harassing him. He warned her, though...even though it felt strange, to not inturrupt his night. Anything he felt like dressing up nicely for was important. He wore some nice blue jeans, with a dark reddish brown top with vertical stripes, it fit him nicely, showing off his slim figure, and that was something he liked. Not to mention, in his own opinion, the jeans he was in made his a** look great. Looking around, he spotted Calum. He smiled, standing, smiling and meeting him halfway. Before he even said something, his lips were pressed against Calum's, like it was something instinctual to kiss him. Syd had been on many dates before, but not after he'd come to love the other person. His lips seem attracted to Calum's like a magnent. He pulled back after lingering for a brief moment, and he held out the pathetic little flower, "Here," He said, "I thought it was pretty...so..."

Calum smiled when Syd kissed him, a wave of calmness crashing through him and chasing away all his nervouseness. When Syd pulled away, Calum had to resist the urge to pull him back. His attention was immidiately drawn to the small flower Syd held up. Carefully takes the flower from Syd, his hands having ceased their twitching for now. He closely examined, oddly touched by the small gesture. He stuck it in the breast pocket of his shirt and smiled Syd as he said, "Thank you."
Allows his eyes to wander over Syd, taking in his outfit. The strange urge to lick his lips rose up, but he shoved it back. He couldn't help but feel under dressed in wrinkled dress shirt and black pants. Gaze lingers on Syd's legs before he slides it away to into Syd's eyes. "You look really nice." He tilts his head. "Very sexy."

Though, like Calum, the urge to linger pressed on Syd, he figured there would be much more kisses as the night proceeded. He stood back, watching Calum, analyzing the way the sun, as it started to set, lit up his face. He sighed, somewhat memorized from apprecitating the soft contours of Calum's face. "You're welcome..." He murmered out, "I'd have to say you're only the second man I've given a flower to, and the first one was just because he made me." He shrugged, "It was flower rape."
He crossed his arms loosely, smirking as he looked into the other's eyes, seeing how the sun made them look clear and light. He sighed, looking down, "I'm glad you like it," He said, "You look pretty nice too." He looked Calum up and down contently, "Though you don't need clothes to look sexy...but...uh..." He blushed slightly, realising he'd created an akward situation for himself, "Well, come here, sit." He said, flopping down again, "We can watch the sunset and then go do something else...it'll be coming soon."

"Flower rape?" Calum's face scrunched up as disturbing images of plant's being molested by people entered his mind. He shuddered and shook those thoughts off, they were just to creepy.
His cheeks turned a light pink at Syd's words, and he smirked. Deciding to have a little fun he settled down next to Syd on the ground and put on his best innocent expression. "Sooo, does that mean if I wish to look sexy for you on our date, I should be naked?"

Syd looked over at Calum, grinning malevolently, "Maybe." He chuckled, staring onto the horzion-the sky was beginging to be a light shade of pink. He looked over to Calum, smiling gently now, and he kissed him again, pulling away just for a moment, his lips feathering against the other male's, "Though, you'd look good in anything..." He murmured, before kissing him again.

Calum let out a purring growl as Syd kissed him again. Warmth flooded through his body and just wanted to melt against Syd. If this was all they did tonight, which he was sure they wouldn't, then he would not complain.
He pulled away and nipped at Syd's bottom lip before his head to look at the changing sky, his hand seeking out Syd's.

Syd laughed slightly as his lip was nipped at, and he grinned, licking lips and staring out to the sky, his hand grasping Calum's. He was happy to just sit here with the other. He leaned on him, nuzzling him happily before looking over the forest. He could see the lake from here, barely making out the flickers of light that were slowly dissapearing as the sun hid from everyone.

Calum sighed in content, while looking up at the sky. Now he knew why sunsets were considered romantic. He stroked his thumb over the back of Syd's hand while marveling at what the colors in the sky did to the clouds. "Syd?"

Syd looked into the sky, his eyes appearing a violet blue, deep and slightly hallow, as his eyes usually looked. They absorbed whatever color he was wearing or was around, if it was big enough. He stared into the horizon, it was a pink and orange lake, absorbing most of his attention. "Hmm?" He glanced over to Calum for a moment, admiring the hues and the way the light shone on the other.

Calum stared, memorized by how the colors reflected in Syd's eyes. His mind seemed to just stop for a few seconds as he stared at the other man. Unbidden, his free hand rose up to stroke a finger over Syd's cheek. His mind jumped back into gear. "I love you."

Sydney blushed a little, finding it strange to hear those words without someone who he knew wasn't using him. Perhaps this time, was the first he'd heard them and genuinely felt the same, mutual feeling. He grinned widely, and wrapped his arms around the other, pulling him into an embrace, and kissing him with utmost affection. He pulled away, looking into Calum's eyes happily, "I love you too."

To Calum, it felt like his heart did a little jump of joy every time Syd said those words. He didn't think he would ever get used to it. He scootched as close as he could to other male and soaked in his presence. He was determined to memorize every moment of the night that he could. From the the way the soft light played over Syd's face and hair, to the way their hands felt clasped together. "Thank you."

He grinned, kissing Calum's cheek briefly before looking back to the sun, it was almost fully set. He wrapped an arm around Calum's shoulders, "You're welcome..." He said, "Though you don't need to thank me...I should thank you." He chuckled, nuzzling the other happily.
