Liebe swiveled her ears back, scanning the area surrounding her, before leaning her head down to tenderly lip up a few blades of grass. It was a severely overcast day, the sun well-hidden by a thick blanket of dark-gray clouds, and beads of rain clung to the damp earth. It wouldn't be long before the dark sky began to open up again, releasing its full arsenal of rain upon the wildlife below.

But Liebe was prepared. She had found a cave a few dozen yards off, one with a secure floor and solid roof, and she fully intended on high-tailing it on over there as soon as she felt the first drop hit her pretty little forehead.

For now, however, the sky held its water, so Liebe ate. She hadn't officially had a good meal in, what seemed like, forever, and wasn't going to pass up the chance of the perfect green grass that grew at her feet, still long and wispy from a lack of hoof-traffic.

Lifting her head slightly, Liebe's attention was drawn to a large boulder directly in front of her, seemingly random in this vast expanse of grass and trees, but turning her head slightly, noted a small cliff behind her. The boulder didn't hold her interest for long, however; a small, dark-colored beetle crawled along its surface, feelers probing the rock before its hard shell cracked open, two wings folding out and taking the beetle into the air.

"Bye," Liebe whispered, smiling. She liked bugs.

Sirius growled and grumbled. He hated rain as much as he hated his disease. The overcast day made Sirius sniffle, he could barely smell rain coming in from the west with the terrible winds. But Sirius could smell a mare scent coming from his nearest rest place. He would take care of her as soon as he got there. Since his run in with the kalona he felt quicker and stronger. If he could take a kalona, nothing could stand up to him.
Sirius trotted for the cave, knowing that excitement and pain would ensue if he reached the cave sooner. It had been a while since he had played with anyone. Sirius' ears twitched, rotating around to hear if anyone else was near. He didn't like being interrupted. He slowly moved towards her enclosing her near the cliff. He growled, making his presence known.

Liebe's head whipped around as she heard a growl behind her, her eyes growing wide with fright as her mind slowly processed the stallion. He was a Skinwalker. Not just any Skinwalker, however. He was mad.

She had heard of these Soquili from her mother and Will; Journey had spun intricate tales of the history of the Cursed Soquili, and Will had relived a fight he had had with one once. They didn't sound all too friendly by her opinion, and that scared her.

"Hi!" she called out nervously, backing up slightly as she heard her voice crack. "I'm sorry, this must be your territory, I'd best be going--" She stopped speaking as she felt her tail brush up against the cliff. She had nowhere to go. She was stuck.

Sirius let a large grin spread across his maw. He hadn't even smiled in weeks--- and she was something to smile about.
His ears twitched, rotated, and checked to see if anyone around. All was clear.
"Hello dear..." Sirius' stomach growled. "This is my territory..." He stepped in front of her, "It would be nice if you... stayed for awhile." His eyes slitted. Oh, the things he would do.

Liebe opened her mouth to say something, but found herself unable to speak. So, wait a tick. He wasn't going to kill her then? But then, what were all of those bad stories about Skinwalkers about? Were there just mean Skinwalkers giving the nice ones bad names then?

Collecting her thoughts, Liebe cleared her throat pointedly and smiled nervously, "I must be going..." she began to say, but thought better of it. "Maybe I could just stay for a few minutes," she corrected quickly. The stallion didn't seem too bad to her... but then again, she had incorrectly judged others before. What's the harm in hanging out with a Skinwalker for a few minutes?

"Oh no Miss, you really shouldn't leave now. I was going to have a little show." The awful grin on his face began to change, the teeth in his mouth became more jagged. A growl ripped through him, and his growl hiss.
"Can you bird soquili really fly?" Sirius spoke softly. If she couldn't fly, he could happily watch her fall. But if he could, he could happily eat his dinner. Win-win situations were his favorite. Sirius backed off slightly, and shook his pelt from his head, his black mane racing into the wind.
"So can you fly?" Sirius sounded a little bit more excited then fearsome. He really did want to know if the wings on her back could carry her. Some how, being around that stupid female Dmitrria, he became more curious. Or was it just mares that made him curious?
