Long grassy plains stretching as far as the eye can see, thick forests containing deadly monsters, and trackless desert wastes. This thread is for any RP that takes place on the world map, other than the ocean.

In the thick of night just outside balamb grounds she heard a light buzzing nose. Stopping she reachs down at her sides. From the chains around her large really baggy skirt she unhooked her Sai's. Having no knowledge in magic she couldnt light the area with fire. Running towards the Street the buzzing got louder. The moonlight made it slightly better to see while on the road because it reflected some of the light but not much. Catching a glimps as A loud Buzz rushed behind her she turned around. Taking position she crouched. Hearing The buzz and what sounded like fangs opening she saw the moon light glisen on the Bite bugs wings. Seeing it was low and charge she jumped up and landed on it making it slam and side across the pavement. putting on sai in her mouth and back flipped onto one hand about 3 times quickly landing on her hand the thrid time her other Sai stabed down into the Bite Bugs wing joint. tiping back to knees she used her other hand now and took her sai from her mouth and stabbed its head a few times till she thought it was dead. Standing up she put her sai's away. abit short of breath and smiled. Befor she put her last Sai away She heard a buzz sound but it was to late as she turned around she was knocked onto her side scraping her arm on the pavment. Letting out a scream as she did so from being taken by surpize. Holding its fangs so it couldnt take a bite out of her she fought with it trying to throw it off. Trying to knee it she couldnt hurt it because of its shell. As she kicked wildly the bug let out a screach as the kicked one of the legs at the joint where it weak and ripped it off. The bug taking to the air begain to come back around making a pass to ram her. Takiing her sai from her belt she threw it like a suriken at the bugs face or what she though was it anyhow. The bug landing at her feet in a dead heap she pulled Her sai From the damn thing and Ran to Balamb. She didnt mind monsters, but she hated bugs.

Irvine Kinneas walked along the road towards Balamb Town. A wasp of some sort was closely following him from behind, intending to strike Irvine in the spinal cord. Irvine wasn't aware of it as he neared Balamb Town.
The creature lunged at Irvine. Irvine swerved, hearing a loud buzz behind him. His eyes widened at the sight of the huge insect. He ducked and fired 3 shots from Valiant. 2 missed but one hit the insect in the wing. The wasp-like creature's other wing was strong enough to keep it in the air, but it would move much slower now.
Irvine stood and fired at the insect, not bothering to take aim. Most of the shots messed up it's wings, but the rest missed. Irvine started to reload. He was starting to get calm, realizing that it was just an oversized insect.
"If it bleeds, it can die."
The sharpshooter took aim at the barely conscious insect. He fired a single shotgun shell into it's abdomen. The wasp's poisonous blood sprayed all over Irvine's sand-colored duster. He frowned. That was his last one, too.
"Aww man..."
The sharpshooter continued towards Balamb. In a matter of minutes, he had reached the town.

Irvine sadly trudged back to Balamb Garden. He just simply shot anything that got in his way. The only things he wanted to do now is get a bomb fragment from the Fire Cavern and hit on a hot chick. But, then again, he always wants to hit on a hot chick.
In a matter of minutes, he had arrived at Balamb Garden.

Now walking outside of the Garden, inbetween that of it and the Cavern, she looked slightly behind her satisfied you're following along. Have you decided the time limit you wish for your field examination, Mr. Kinneas? usually she's wasn't so formal with proper names, but since you've irked her it'll be the best you can get for the time being.

Irvine continued following her. He didn't like being called "Mr. Kinneas." It made him feel strange.

I'm sure you're aware that the time limit you've picked will determine the bonus points that be given or taken away. she didn't wait for a response as she continued on. And that of the final outcome of your grade. approaching the Cavern, two guards were having small talk, not noticing us upon our arrival as of yet.

Zell Zell quirked a eyebrow at that responce, that was one weird responce and it sounded rather, well, weird."Uhh, yea well lets head out then." Zell turned and started walking out and along the path that lead away from the Garden and he spoke slowly."Ok, I'll be the one who supports you by healing you should you get criticaly hurt. " he sighed to himself and grumbled abit but then quickly continued. "So have you decided the time you're going to pick?" ( Continues, World Map ) "I'd choose to take the maximum amount, sir."

Zell blinked and thought as he walked off the path slowly, he was ignoring the forest since it was known T-Rexaurs where there. He moved closer towards the Fire Cavern and could barely spot the two guards.
"If I remmber the maximum was something like forthy minutes ..." Zell shrugged as he walked, he had chosen twenthy minutes and got done in just enough time, three minutes left.
"Well you do know that this will effect your total score, right?" he swore again, he was sounding like Quistis and they where not even there yet.

Zell shrugged and continued walking, they where just about there and he had just noticed the guards completly, they where no longer dots.
"Well we'll see how ya do man" Zell stopped there and motioned for the Cadet to present himself to the guards.
( Fire Caverns, the guards won't let us in untill Irvine is finished however. )

Irvine Kinneas walked out of the Fire Cavern. He noticed Zell and the Cadet.
"Good luck."
He passed them, heading back towards Balamb Garden. Irvine'd junction with Ifrit later. Right now, he'd need a potion or something to heal his shin.

Squall crossed the plains swiftly, keeping a hand on the hilt of his gunblade, and his eyes on the horizon. Out here in the open, monsters would be much easier to spot and, therefore, avoid.
He didn't talk to the Trabian transfer as they walked; he'd said all he needed to, the guards at the Fire Cavern would say the rest. Besides, talking wasn't quite in his nature.

Monty walks across the open plains towards the fire cavern. He spots three bite bugs flying along.
"Bite bugs! Perfect practise!" he smiles. He then turns to Squall "Hey, wanna see my GF?" he says, still with a large grin.
