Why cant people give drummers our props we try just as hard as the rest of the band!!!!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?????!?!?!?!?!?!!?!?!?!???!?!

Why?, You ask? It is because of people who say 2 instead of to or too and people who feel the need to hold down on the question mark key and the exclamation point key along with the shift key. People like that who don't focuse are the reasons people make fun of drummers. I try not to be like that and I am respected and given "props" along with everyone else in my schools drumline.

i gotta say, even though i'm in guard and there seems to be a rivalry goin on between the two sections (at least at my school) drumline is my favorite section to listen to.
2nd place goes to trumpets and/or saxophones

eh were i live us percussionists/drummers are taken for granted.
imo, the band would be nothing without us, but they might still survive. I just defend my independence as a drummer/percussionist, and if someone puts me down...
hehe they regret it ^_^

There are a few people in my school's band who hate the drumline, but I don't know what they would do without us. Since we have no drum major, we start off the show and set the tempo. Now that practices have been going a lot better, I've seen less hate towards us. smile
|

It's because the guys in my school's drumline never take the time to learn their parts >.< And they're really cocky/kind of stuck up in personalities anyway.

Horse lady It's because the guys in my school's drumline never take the time to learn their parts >.< And they're really cocky/kind of stuck up in personalities anyway. i no. luckily its not bad at all this year- i hate it when people say " they'd be nothing without us" because you cant compare instruments because they all make a contribution to the whole. Without the trumpets or trombones or tubas or clarinets or saxes etc the band would be nothing.

the band im in is almost in love with the drumline
we keep the tempo and keep the pit from killing the show entirely
