I have missed every episode of SmackDown since it moved to Friday night. I never think about it and when I do its always to late. I read the report on SmacDown on WWE.com last night and I am scratching my head going WTF. How long ago was it that Eddie was a bad guy and in the middle of a heated fued with Rey? 3 weeks ago? how the hell does he go from that to teaming with the World Champion and being a "face" that fast? and in my own personal oppinion if Rey won a match against JBL. then he needs to be in line for a shot at the World Championship. if they have hired some new writers like we have been hearing then they need to get them guys to work really quick.
If I where a writer. I would have Eddie cheat , beat Batista and get the belt , and set up a match between Eddie and Rey and have Rey win the Title from Eddie. and make it some kind of spectacular match. Could you imagine these 2 in a Hell in a Cell. that would be so ****ing cool I can't even imagine.

Rey is a frikkin cruiserweight. why should he be champion??? I dont think he should be. Maybe US champ at the most but hes not strong enough for the main title. But he is a speedy little thing.

But he is a speedy little thing. oh you poor one demintional soul. Eddie Was never a heavyweight. So if one cruiserweight can win the World "heavyweight" title then Rey can to. In my oppinoin the weight class needs to be done away with. and if they can seriously think about letting a woman or whatever Chyna was win the Mens title then there sure shouldn't be a problem with a cruiseweight winning it. and its really topught for me to say that about the weight divisions because the Cruiserweight title is one of my favorite belts.

Eddie's bio says 220 pounds. oh and Chyna was supposed to win the world title.

Eddie has been in the heavyweight category for awhile now. He's been in on the title hunt several times. Yes he was a cruiserweight for a while (stress on was), but those days are long ago. The last time he really had anything to do with that belt at all was way back in '97. As far as Rey goes, i like him and all, but i don't think he can go toe-to-toe with heavyweight wrestlers on a weekly basis and hold the title. In fact, i'm not even sure he qualifies to try for it anyway. I'm not sure which weight class he's in, because there is a lot of muscle on his small frame. Chyna did meet the weight class, so the fact she's a woman doesn't really matter. It doesn't say "Men's Heavyweight".

Rey has the speed and he's got a good drive for the belt but I fon't think he could keep the belt for long. Maybe a month tops. Even if Rey is good, theres just too many people that are bigger, and stronger.

He was the Gaint Killer back in the day, so no doubt he would be able to get it (if he meets the qualifications), but I think holding on to it would be a different story.

either you guys aren't reading my post or your ignoring me altogether. Eddie Still qaulifies as a Cruiser Weight. The qulifications for Heavyweight status. last time I checked was 230lbs. Eddie weighs in at 220.

Because she was bitching that she should be able to win it. I personally would never watched WWE again if that had happened.
