The person who picked up the phone was a young boy that happened to reside in the house. "Allo? Dartsmoore residence, Bailey speaking. May I ask whose calling?" the boy intoned.

The red snake child didn't recognize the number on the ID. Masters wasn't a name of anyone he, his brother, or his mother had come across in their time wandering around Gaia - and they'd met a LOT of people. However, Bailey's Uncle had gone on a date a few days before and they knew nothing of the guy he'd ended up with. Charlie had been a bit annoyed with himself for not giving Vic his number and not getting the other man's. Honestly, of all the things to forget.

The boy grinned. "Is this that guy Uncle Charlie went out with the other day?" he asked. He highly doubted it would be anyone else asking for the other man at this residence but who knew.

"Oh just waiting for my mom to get home." he answered before continuing with the actual subject of the call, "So, you're looking for Uncle Charlie? You two have a date planned or summat?"

"Ah. Well, he's kinda in the shower right now. So you'll have to call back....that or show up and surprise him." the red boy teased, laughing lightly.

Bailey grinned broadly. This guy was fun. "Fine by me. " he said and the plan was made.

There was the sound of talking inside and Charlie's voice saying "I'll get it." and quite suddenly the door was opened by the man - though, he seemed a bit smaller than usual today. It was probably due to his silver hair being down and wet - the comb in his hand giving way to why it looked half straight and half tangly - and he was attired only in a towel around his waist.

The size difference between their doorway and Charlie's size in comparison to Vic's ended up leaving the man pretty much visible and able to see into the dimly lit foyer. Farther into the room, peaking out of what was probably the living room, was a red skinned boy with a black ponytail. Said boy had his hands clapped over his mouth to hold back his laughter.

"Hi?" the usually pomped young man said, raising an eyebrow at Vic, his jaw hanging somewhat slack. "Please come in?" he asked after a second, recovering himself.

When Charlemagne turned around so he could lead Vic into the hallway he spotted the end of Bailey's ponytail quickly going back into the other room and he raised his eyebrow again. "Is there something going on here that I should know about?"

Charlie squawked when he was picked up. "Well can I get dressed first? And don't pick me up. It's bad enough that you two got me with the surprise of you showing up, but manhandling me is just adding insult to injury." the man growled but the look in his eyes when he grinned up at Vic showed he was mostly teasing.


"Fricken behemoth," he muttered, sounding rather affectionate as he walked towards the stairs to his room. "Just head through to the living room. The only one home right now is Bailey so you can chill with him while I'm getting decent." he called over his shoulder.

In the living room, the red skinned boy was smiling widely, having finally recovered from his fit of laughter. "That was classic." he commented.
