Who are you hoping turns out to be a foe of ours? I mean we need one eventually. Hopefully sooner than later but whatever. stare I know we all hope there will be centaur NPC's interacting with the normal ones but, do you think there will be any?

I'd love to take you home with me and tuck you into bed,
I'd love to see what makes you tick inside your pretty head.

Well, from my experience with D&D (Oh noes, yes, she is a nerd! D:<) centaurs view undead, demons, ect as abominations, since most of those creatures mean to do harm against the earth, which the centaurs hold dear. So, I would think imps and vampires would be a good choice.

I'd love to hear you laugh tonight, I'd love to hear you weep.
I'd love to listen to you while you're screaming in your sleep.

I'd have to agree with Norofel, the undead would be the more obvious choice as something resurrecting goes against the natural order of things.

(I too dabble in playing D&D mrgreen )

Ooh, off topic: Are we allowed to edit the banner to put our avatars in it? o: Didn't know that. *considers editing hers, if it's alright*
Also off topic: D&D for the win! ;D
On topic: Ehm, yes. Resurrection is unnatural. Yeah. ;>.>

I think things more like orcs, dark elves, and some humans would be more interesting.

of topic: I PM'd the guy who made the original banner and asked him if it was okay. He said yes and I'm sure he'd be fine with you doing it to, but PM-ing him for permission first would be best.

on topic: I could also see the vampires being a good foe choice as there not only undead, but also blood suckers who, when left unchecked, could wreak a lot of havoc.

I'd prefer our enemies to be decided on a person to person basis. Writing off an entire species as bad doesn't sit well with me. Just as there are evil centaurs, there are good vampires, humans, etc.

I'd rather my enemies were detestable for their actions than merely for what they happen to be.

Yeah, I'm in with this.

For Hoof!, I'm not sure whom the enemy would be-- a singular race enemy might be the best you could manage, especially with all enemies being NPC (as far as I know, no one can play as anything other than a centaur?)

but for the official earthweaver RP, i believe our enemy will be singular individuals-- and not an overwhelming force. the rp is set in Gaia, and might take details from zomg-- the animated would be viewed as an enemy, because they're inanimate, man-made objects given life; things that the nature-loving centaurs wouldn't use to begin with. i think they'd sincerely view the animated as a menace, and combined with the occasional wind or rain storm-- similar natural disaster-- the roleplay doesn't need a OH GOD OH GOD GIANT OPPRESSIVE FOREST HAS DESCENDED FROM ON HIGH.

The animated would make a good enemy, and of course it'd allow us to take our roleplaying into zOMG when the time comes.

I don't think a Centaur would know what to make of a vicious rogue boot. KILL IT! KILL IT DEAD!

Well, I say that we should be fighting humans.

I mean, EVERY race fights humans from some tribe, cult, kingdom or whatever.

So we'll have to be fighting them somehow.

I have to agree with Vercci when he said that the foes we'd be against would more likely be individuals from the various groups rather then the races as a whole, so that would more than likely apply to humans as well.

Depends from the context you want to place this enemy: about RP, I agree with Vercci. About the RPG, a main enemy would be the best choice in my opinion, fighting an ancestral enemy gives more appeal to the story than a miscellanea of members of various races that acted badly. And in this sense I'd choose Animated or, better ( I think they could become a bit boring if they are the enemy both of Hoof and the MMO ), vampires and undeads, for reasons that Norofel stated.
About zOMG pvp, deciding a race as enemy can help choosing your side if we will ever be involved in guild wars, and give unity to our guild. Anyway, out of a thematic war between guilds, would be ridicolous forcing users to fight only cause they belong to opposite races.

The Animated, definitely.

As for the undead, there seem to be very few good vampires. So maybe we could grant the few that have proven good leniency and the rest are pretty much fair game and sworn enemies and all that. We probably wouldn't like zombies too much, either...but there aren't any "good" zombies so...

Other centaurs sound better to me. There could be a lot of inter/inner tribal clashes. Centaurs are nature loving, but the could be at conflict over how to deal with humans poaching on their territory or what not. I say at least at the beginning an inter/inner tribal conflict is in order.
