I thought you all might want a little heads up on the one of the latest scams going on around Gaia ...
This is mostly for people who sell at the market however anyone can get one of these pm's. They will pm you and ask you if you would trade "whatever" for a winter rose. Now the winter rose will be way more value than the item that they are asking for.
You will think this fool has lost their mind and sure it sounds like a great deal - DON"T - it is a scam.
When you send the trade they will put in a White Rose Wrist Corsage and NOT a winter rose, they look similar if your not paying enough attention!
Please be careful when you are making trades some of the items do look the same sometimes and you don't want to end up getting a 500 gold corsage instead of a 50k rose - especially if the item you are trading is of a very high value.
Heads up my angels - someone is not playing nice.

Yea someone actually sent me an pm a few minutes ago, saying they saw my siggy and saw I was questing a winter rose and they asked if I wanted to trade my gold bracelets and anklets for their rose. I was going to say sure, until I just saw this post. xD
Now that I know it is a scam, I won't accept any trade from people trying to trade winter roses to me. xD

Thanks for the heads up! It sucks this kind of thing goes on.
Scammers 'll do it with Grunnies and Kiki Kitties too using the wall tile in place of the actual item.
If you question them they get snarky and say things like "DUH it looks different - I put him in his cage."
Alchemist though unlikely anyone will just hand off a Rose don't rule out all donations! Just make SURE you mouse over the items
and read what it says whenEVER you're trading or what have you. If it's a donation they likely won't want anything in return.
I know I'm telling you what you already know - you've been around the Gaian block
but I'm throwing this info out there for anyone and everyone.

Yeah. It bites and not in a fun love-nibble kind of way.
No one wants to WORK for anything anymore and gosh it's not like Gaia is back breaking labor!

Wow...that's a crazy scam idea.I don't think I'd fall for it unless I was super excited about getting the item for so cheap but thanks for the heads up. I'll be cautious.

That happened to me too. I checked on the prices like was said earlier and thought it was a good deal, and when I received his trade I saw it wasn't the winter rose. I pm'd him and told him that I was reporting him.
