A large screen towered over the stadium. A spinner with twelve different battle field locations displayed on the screen, waiting to be choosen. One of the trainers jumps to the control room and presses a big green button to start up the spinner. The screenshots of each battlefield light up as they are passed by the spinner. Finally, the light stops on... Graveyard Field The stadium ceiling is shut tight in the particular field selection, covering the entire inner area of the stadium in a veil of pure darkness; one that even the Flash technique cannot break through. Grave stones of various types (ranging from crosses to a sculpture of the deceased) were scattered across the lifeless soil; some were still whole while many stood broken and unattended. Near the northern end of the battle field, a single withered tree stands hunched over as though in constant mourning of those who rest for eternity here. A dense fog weaves in and out of the headstones and hinders vision even more. The fog itself seems damp and heavy, like the tears of the living mourning for the lost.

 Kayla stepped into the arena and grimanced at the choice of field. Grave yard, again. Well, it could have been worse. So Kayla strolled onto the platform and rode it to the top before she released her pokemon. "Come on out, Grinch!" Tossing her pokeball.
Grinch apppeared onto the field and felt very comfortable in his surroundings. He started walking the graves, looking for a better looking and sturdier bone for his weapon while they wait for their opponent.

"Ooo~ spooky field this time, huh Frey?" Sienna said and surveyed the field. There was definitely a contrast between their last battle field, the Grass Field and this new one, The Graveyard Field. The Pidgey beside her nodded his head in agreement. "Hi!" Sienna waved and greeted the trainer across the field from her.
Frey fluttered onto the field, perching on one of the taller graves to take a look at this field and wait for the battle to begin.

Kayla was watching Grinch as he picked out a few bones that he wanted to keep for himself. The trainer just shook her head before looking at the other trainer, who was waved in greeting. Kayla waved back casually, smiling. "You can start, if you want."
Kayla looked down at Grinch again who had found, what seemed like a perfect bone for him. "Are you ready now, Grinch?" The little cubone looked up and grinned. "Cu~bone!"

"Alright! Let's start off with a Quick Attack, Frey!" Sienna called to her pokemon with excitement. Hopefully this battle would turn out better than their last.
Frey started out in a glide over the gravestones towards Grinch, and rapidly picked up speed as he aimed to collide with the cubone in a Quick Attack.

The cubone was busy showing off his new bone to Kayla and admiring it that he didn't see or hear the command of the other trainer for Frey's Quick Attack. With his back turned away from the pidgey, he took the full force of the attack and fell over, rolling.
Shocked, Grinch remain where he laid before leaping onto his feet, glaring at the offending pidgey. "Cuuuuuu~bone!" Grinch shouted at Frey.
"We need to pay attention, Grinch! Let's take it out with, Rock Slide!"
Eager to get some revenge, Grinch charged as close to the pidgey as much as possible before halting to a stop and smashed his newly aquired bone into the ground, sending large boulders into the air, hopefully, aimed at Frey.

"Pidge, pidgey-" Frey was cut off by the in coming Rock Slide, which hit him dead on. "Pidge!" He shouted, shaking bits of rocks and dust from his feathers.
"Let's go with Steel Wing this time, Frey!" Sienna shouted. 'Ouch. A type disadvantage again.' She thought
Frey began his Steel Wing attack and flew through the air, dodging tombstones to deliver the attack.

The moment, Frey's wings started to glow silver, Kayla and Grinch knew that it would be Steel Wing and it would come fasst!
"Grinch! You got to dodge that, stick your ground until I say..."
Frey then dived at the cubone, with steel-like wings to slice Grinch but they knew that. When it was going to be a direct hit, Kayla shouted, "Now, use Thrash!" that was Grinch's cue to leap into the air to dodge Frey's attack and attempted to thrashing along the pidgey's back as it pass.

After receiving a Thrash to his back, Frey flew upward in a small storm of feathers. Those are going to take forever to grow back, Frey groaned in his head.
"Frey, use Gust!" Sienna shouted.
Beating his wings, Frey whipped up a strong wind. Dust-devils danced around the graves and pebbles flew haphazardly around the graveyard. Frey aimed the Gust straight down, where the Cubone was below among the graves.

The sudden gust attack was a strong one for such a little bird. Grinch had to grip the ground with all four paws to keep from flying away. Rocks and bones kept hitting him while the gust was in affect.
Grinch had to grip one tombstone that was inmoveable until the attack came to a close, that caused him to collaspe to the ground, panting at the strength it took to keep from leaving the battle field.
"Nice work! Now let's go for Rock Slide again!"
Grinch, again slammed his bone onto the ground and sent large boulders at the little pidgey in retalization.

"Frey, watch out!"
Frey couldn't dodge the second Rock Slide attack in time and was knocked back in the air as a large rock hit him.
"Let's use Steel Wing again!" Sienna shouted to her pokemon.
Frey twisted in the air, dust falling from his feathers as he charged up another Steel Wing. Frey then dived down at his opponent with wings as hard as steel.

Kayla cringed when Grinch took a long but shallow slice from the sharp wing tip. He hissed in pain as he tried to dodge it. At least, Grinch avoided the blunt of it.
"We gotta get a comeback now! Thrash!"
Eyes locked on the pidgey, Grinch raised his bone club and raced towards the bird. When he was within reach, Grinch leap into the air and started pummeling.
