King's Academy- Metalcore - I play bass :] An Artist Rendering- I do Vocals/Guitar - We're a Metalcore/Trance/Bit-Break band, but really we experiment with all genres from Deathcore to so sweet it will rot your teeth Pop-Punk - First song was done the week we came together, missing Vocals and Bass, also, not a good representation of what we do cause, well, the songs just not that good, at all razz - We're changing names as I found out our old guitarist stole it from Poison The Well :/

king's academy- I can't get into it, the vocals kill it for me. big time.
Just, ehhhh.
not my thing.
and Artist's Rendering.
How in the heck did you record everything, it all just seems off balance, definitely too much high end in your guitar tone.
and I can tell it was that it's double tracked, and, that's not a good thing.

King's Academy: I wouldn't listen to it on a daily basis, simply because It's not my style of music, I do ,however, I like it. I'd mosh to it, and if you guys lived in the states, I'd definitely check out a concert or two. two thumbs up.
Artist's Rendering: I really like the electronic feel to the whole thing, some vocals would've definitely made it better, but all the same, it's good stuff. probably not 2 thumbs up, but a thumbs up for sure. good work there.
PS. I'm reviewing on the music itself, which is good. I'd have to agree with dolphin about the double-tracking sweatdrop srry

Ya, it was a messed up process, the 2 members that had the most trouble were removed last week. The drummer wasn't keeping time so it's really edited to be on time, also at the end he wanted to redo the drums, but it wasn't played to a click track so it was... All just weird. And out of no where, Stefan (keys) did badly :S He's the best in the band at his instrument by far. He's certified to teach piano I believe. So that was messed. Regardless, the next one will be a lot better.

Kings Academy- Good music, very, very shitty vocals.
An Artist's Rendering- Not too bad. I liked it. But it could use some vocals. and something seemed off tempo. Maybe that' what you were going for, but off tempo isn't necessarily pleasing to my ear.
I'm not mean, just being blunt.

I understand man, anything goes!
I'm not sure why everyone hates the vocals so much, I really like them razz But I mean, it's our music so if I didn't like it I wouldn't really be sticking around!
Ya, it was a weird thing where the best player at his instrument in the band (Stefan on keys) did a REALLY shitty job on timing xP Also, we did it after only 2 jams. On top of it all, the drummer redid some stuff at the end.

No point in doing something you don't like, to please other people, that's called selling out. 2. that might not be the smartest thing to do, next time try 3 jams. 3nodding
