She was flying fast, with as much speed as she could conjure. Not because she was being chased or because she liked flying fast, but because she was desperate to practice. Her little body was often thrown around in the wind and since she'd had more than a few topples to the ground in her short life (short for a Goddess in any case) she wanted to start learning properly.

After all, she could swim now, just about. She should at least master the wings that were upon her very sides.

It was good exercise too and she could appreciate how fantastic it was to have wings to aid her travel. What would have taken weeks of toil under the sun by land had taken only a couple of hours.

And there it was.

The sea.

She breathed in the salty sea air as if it were the most wonderful sent on Earth. Maybe it was. She certainly adored it. And with a whoop of joy she collapsed her wings and plummetted towards it, aiming for the deep. At least that way if she crash landed she wouldn't knock herself out on a rock.

The sea would save her!

And with an almighty splash, she nose-dived into the sea. Her body was eased to a halt and with a flick of her wings she was up to the surface, choking and spluttering but happy none-the-less.

The last few days had been somewhat of a rollercoaster, one that had thrown both Juuku and Pele for a loop yet had caused the past lovers to rekindle feelings for one another. After the incident with Mina, Juuku had regained himself- bouncing back to his old self as Pele had graciously forgiven him and looked past the occurance while also coming to her senses and realizing that she should have never barricaded her feelings and emotions from him or anyone. To say the least it was certainly a learning experience and the turn out certainly had brough the two closer. As the salty air wafted heavily, the God and Goddess strolled alongside the shore lazily. It was the surf and their respect and love for the ocean that kept them bound by the sea though, often, the Goddess ventured with the God to tend to her own duties as well. Though love was strong Pele still had love for her domain as well.

With the sun bearing down upon the sand with its pleasent warmth, Juuku flopped onto the sands and stretched. "Aw, what a rockin' day, eh Pele? Seems like a tooooootally good day for some surf, eh?"

"Is 'dat all you can think 'bout," the Goddess rolled her eyes, stepping towards him before she laughed and flopped on top of him. "Yes, 'is a good day though I thin' 'm up fo a swim soon'a o' lata."

The God chuckled, grinning nearly from ear to ear as he laughed. "Oh? Well how about we take a swim now?"

"Don' rush it," Pele commented, squishing on top of him as she mused. "Jus' enjoy the day."

For now the two seemed to laze upon the sands, intaking the day with a slow pace rather than rushing to do just about anything and waste their energy. It was strange as both Volcanoes and Surf were tired, their fiery and eccentric personalities subtle as the day seemed to be pleasently wasting away. Though before either of them could shift in position or even mnage to speak a sudden explosion into the water seemed to cause them to look towards the sea. Juuku managed to furrow his brows slightly, eyes straining outwards while the Goddess tilted her head. Both of them had seen soemthing, a large object simply plummet into the waters and, from what they could see, bob around with the current. Neither of them were sure and simply looked towards one another almost silently questioning if they had seen the same thing.

"Did you-" the two of them spoke in accord, though stopping as they turned their attention back towards the sea.

"Must have been a dolphin or a seal..."

"Or a pelican," Juuku added.

Though Pele seemed to give a slight quizzical expression, the two shrugged and exhaled a relaxing sigh. There was nothing to worry about right? If anything either one of them would have heard some voice or cry if anyone was in trouble. But, for now, the sun beakoned them to rest.

For a moment the goddess couldn't get her bearings. She paddled in little circles, only her head sticking out of the surface. Her paws moved madly beneath her to keep her head above water. She could swim - just about - but it took a lot of effort for her untrained muscles. Swimming was different from flying or walking, it worked every muscles and some that she wasn't even aware she'd had until she'd begun.

However, she'd fallen for the sea now and no matter how far she went she knew she'd always return here to this bay where she'd meet Juuku and had her first swimming lesson.

It was possibly one of the most wonderful memories she'd ever been blessed with, along with adopting her mother and meeting Nyoka.

But making friends was always something that stuck in her memory even if they did sometimes get a little confused and muddled in her mind.

One thing was for certain, however, she wouldn't forget Juuku.

In her circling she saw the stretch of sand and upon that sand she saw the unmistakeable shape of blue. Juuku? But next to the blue shape was another, a dark shape that she didn't recognise unless...

Her meetings with 'dark' pelted lions had not gone well thus far. First there had been Katana'k who had given her a might slap and scratched up her neck. She couldn't quite remember exactly how he looked, all she remembered was darkness.

Then there was the nameless God, the one who was grey with splotches on his fur. He had called her thief and driven her mad with rage.

So, understandably, she was scared.

However, this was one of those times when her powers did come in handy and she reached out with her mind to touch the blue shape who she was almost certain was Juuku.

~Who is that, Juukie?~

Both God and Goddess's eyes were becoming heavy once again, sleeps grasp attempting to drag them deeper as the two sprawled out slightly. For Juuku he had somehow become comfortable with the fact that the Goddess's paw was a-blaze yet, even so, it had yet to seinge his fur or cause him pain unless Pele weilded it to though, for now, it only provided greater warmth against his body. His wings stretched out slightly while his tail beat into the sand, swaying in a calm manner almost in a way that seemed so unlike him. Was it possible for the God to be so peaceful or perhaps he was simply just being lazy? As for Pele, she was nestled atop his back while her own wings were unfurled slightly, hanging down her sides while she kneaded her paws against the Gods back in a gentle manner. It seemed as if that the days ahead were starting to look up and certainly it was a relief to both of them. Though it seemed before the God could drift off, a familiar voice rang in his mind which caused a widespread, lopsided grin to stretch across his maw.

Rockin' Rokooooo! Where are ya dudette? Though to her question as he was snapping back into attention, the God chuckled. Aw- dudette this is my E ku'u Aloha, my kui'ipo, my wahine Pele. You should toooootally come and meet her! I'm fer sure you two will be bodacious friends!

Lazily, the God lifted his head slightly and looked out towards the ocean where he could see a shape bobbing up and down within the waters. When Pele was around he was happy, nearly giddy like an excited cub as the Goddess certainly was one of his close friends. Juuku smiled as he staggered upwards, forgetting that Pele was upon his back.

"ROKOOOOO!" He called out, his voice almost booming with excitement.

Though while Juuku was more than estatic, Pele had found herself to tumble onto the ground suddenly as she rolled off the Gods back. She plummetted with an 'oof' into the sands as she narrowed her eyes up towards him. Couldn't he have just yelled while sitting down even if his yelling would have stirred her she wouldn't of have to deal with the gritty sand suddenly clinging to her wings and fur. Sighing, the Goddess stumbled up to her own paws and shook out her fur.

"Wassa'matt'a?" The Goddess yawned, somewhat irritated though curious of what was going on.

"Ah, Wahine! You gotta meet one of my friends! She's so totally rocks!"

Knitting her eyes slightly, Pele settled upon her haunches as she peered out towards the sea. Though she was a bit hesitant Pele would be comfortable and fine with meeting anyone as long as it wasn't the female who had helped herself at hurting Juuku. If she EVER found that lioness, Pele would make an acception to bring back mortal sacrifices just this once. As the two waited, Pele ruffled her wings in a slight nervous fasion as sat beside Surf. The Goddess's strong point never quite resided in meeting others so hopefully this wouldn't be too awkward.

~In the water. See, see, I can swim!~ Apparently this new ability still had her bouncing with incredible pride and joy. Then with a snort - to free her nose of water - she began to paddle towards the surface, using her wings to propel her through the depths. It felt wonderful to have cool water surrounding her when the sun was so terribly hot.

Why did other lions not think to do this?

In the desert they just lazed in caves and holes and panted why didn't....oh right, they didn't have the sea! The oasis was so special they probably wouldn't like the idea of swimming in it. Again, the fact that she could travel so far and wide without much more than a flick of her wings reminded her of how lucky she was.

Nothing could hold her back if she didn't want it to.

Then Juuku's voice was rolling across the sea to her and she paddled faster. She wanted to call back but when she opened her mouth the foul-tasting water sloshed in and she choked. No, best to focus on swimming. She could talk once she'd made it to the sand.

Juuku's mental speech had meant nothing to her. She'd come to realise that he had a vocabulary that contained words she had never heard before. They were, quite simply, beyond her understanding, though she'd question him what it all meant once she was on dry land.

And as she swam, for a worrying moment, she felt her strength begin to leave her. The paddling slowed and her legs began to ache. The sand seemed so far away and for the briefest of seconds she wondered what would happen if she sank completely. Could she die if she was under the water too long? The thought had always terrified her and that fear had never dissapeared. It still lurked there like a crocodile in the gloom.

And then her kicking back paws met the sandy basin of the sea and she felt a huge sigh of relief shudder through her body. Then, kicking off of the bottom, aiding herself with her wings, she was dragging herself out of the waves on all fours, coming to stand on the beach.

Sea lapped at her toes, water clung to her; dripping from her chin and her whiskers and her belly. She felt exhausted and with a huff to free her lungs of sea water she shook herself violently. When that was done she allowed herself to smile.

"Juukiiieeee!!" And with the last of her strength she half-staggered, half-galloped across the sand to meet him.

It still seemed so weird to the God to say that he had a sweetheart, a loving mate. It was like old times, wasn't it? Before the event with Ezriel nearly facing death and being punished he and Pele were almost inseparable though it was that event that caused them to drift apart, pained and alone until it seemed that either good fortunes or sheer luck had blessed them once again. Volcanoes and Surf, opposite and near conflicting entities were brought together once again. there were pieces of the puzzle missing within their lives were unable to be found but, now, it felt as if everything was complete and wholesome. Though it seemed that Ezriel still held a grudge against the blue and white bulk of fur, Pele was certain that sooner or later he'd warm up and not cause any unecessary trouble although the thought that sooner or later her brother would want to talk to Juuku alone still seemed to bother her as who knew what Ezriel was up to.

Juuku's orbs widened with excitement, tail wriggling behind him like that of an estatic canine as he bounced and shifted his weight from paw to paw. Already he could see Pele's form coming closer, swimming with the current as the small waves seemed to pull the Goddess closer and closer towards the sand bar. Anxiously the God stood there, his body bouncing up and down as Roko edged closer and, at the moment that she finally planted her paws into the sand the God seemed to suddenly leap forward, bounding towardes her. "AW ROKOOOOOO!" He laughed, playfully tackling her though with a cautious, gentle manner as he playfully nipped at her ruff of fur- pawing at her face like a playful cub. "Roko dudette you have some maaaaad swimming skills 'cuz that was most excellent! You're totally gettin' stronger!"

The God stepped back slightly, taking himself off of her as he grinned. "So dudette what are you up to?"

Meanwhile Pele watched the two, smiling softly though her nature tended to close off and keep her somewhat secluded and confined to herself. It was a weakness within herself in something being a bit rough around the edges but as the Goddess seemed to approach Pele seemed to find herself more at ease. From at the unknown Goddess, she herself felt somewhat comfortable with Juuku rather familiar with her and reassured that it wasn't the lioness who had hurt Surf. Slowly Pele managed to step forward, coming closer toward the two while still uncertain of what to say.

Yet it seemed Juuku had it covered.

"Oh! Intro. Tooootally forgot," The God chuckled. "Roko, I'd like you to meet Pele- she's toooootally an old friend of mine and... my mate." Juuku seemed to blush a bit, a light pink flushing across his face as he grinned a bit sheepishly. "An' Pele this is Roko, one of my totally awesome and bestest friend eveeeeer!"

Pele could only laugh softly, she herself still finding the title 'mate' a bit strange though she was getting use to it and comfortable with it. Looking towards the Goddess, the Goddess nodded her head and offered a warm smile.

"It's a pleas'a Roko. Its definitely good ta' know that Juu 'as a frien' like you. I've 'eard a lot abou' youse'- he always speaks 'ighly of ya."
PostPosted: Fri Aug 08, 2008 2:45 pm

She braced herself as he raced to meet her and reared up on her hind legs to buffet at his face with her forepaws. Laughter fell free from her maw as he tried to n** at her ruff and with the antics of a cub she moved to try and wrap herself around a forepaw to hold him still and keep him from getting away.

She blinked up at him then with her mis-matched eyes sparkling. It was so good to be back. Odd really how this place had become more of a home to her than her true home in the desert. She realised then that a place was home because of the people that lived here. Juuku had fast become a dear friend and there was so much joy to be found in his friendship. The lions at Tuiat'tekam had been nice but she'd never been able to be herself there. She'd been too afraid of them finding out she was a Goddess, too afraid they might judge her because of it.

Not that Pelli would let her hide herself anymore. She hadn't masqueraded as a mortal since her personality switch and so long as she was in charge she never would. Why hide the fact that you were more special than the wingless ones?

"You really thinkses so?" She replied, wide-eyed. It was some compliment coming from a lion who was practically made for water. "It made our legses tired but we had sooo much fun. Landing in water is a lot easier than land. We hit our head on rocks when we land on ground." She made a mock-sad face and pulled herself up into a sit.

"We came to see you and tell you stuffs. We missed the sea and being alone wasn't all that fun. Besides, we got bored of practising powers. Need a break."

And then the dark-pelted lion stepped forwards and nervousness swamped Roko's insides. She gave a small eep and attempted to cower behind Juuku's larger frame only to find that he was introducing the stranger.

She blinked and it took a moment to process this new information.

"Pele?" She repeated. "This is your...Whiney you told me about?" She asked, remembering the brief mental conversation that had meant little to her. She thought she could remember one of the words he'd said, but she hadn't...clearly.

She paused as he introduced her to Pele and then took a step forwards. "Mate? Like...girlfriend?" The grin that had been non-existent a moment ago was blossoming brilliantly on her maw.

She stopped herself as Pele spoke. She spoke weird, but she liked it! Unable to control her excitement she bounded across to the other female, glad to see that there wasn't that much difference in their size.

"Pele is Juukie's girlfriend? Like in love?"

Like Roko, Juuku once had a home though it seemed that he simply couldn't return there. So much had changed and it seemed those who had always inahbited his home were dwindling by means of old age and the curse from other Gods due to the old ways being thought of disrespectful and challenging to the old ways. It was here that Juuku had stumbled upon, the stretch of shoreline and sea which had called to him and lead to become a home away from homes even though his true belongings and ties fell towards the Bahari'mtoto Juuku seemed to feel that he was destined to follow the sea wherever it would take him. He grinned, flicking his tail as he too certainly never kept himself hidden or, in all honesty, forgot that he could even shroud himself to blend in with mortals. Though what was the point? They were all family, all ohana, weren't they?

The God laughed, fervently nodding his head. "Fer suuuuuuure, dudette! You were rockin' out there!" As he listened, the God opened his maw slightly in an 'o' shape. "Ooooooh, I know how that is! Sometimes my legs get ridiculuosly tired but it just means you're getting stronger. And tooootally, landing in the water is always better then bumpin' your noggin against some rocks. Never fun stuff," he replied, giving a slight frown as well knowing all too well that rough landings were never, ever fun! They hurt real bad!

"Tell me stuff? Oh! What kind'a stuff? 'm always lookin' forward to when you come and visit!" Juuku excitedly yipped, bouncing upon his paws as he nodded his head. "Yeaaaah- you deserve a break!"

Pele had remained looking from the two with a simple smile. The flames upon her paw and head flickered with a bright manner as she curled her tail around her body. Though at first she was slightly confused as the Goddess seemed to hide behind Juuku, Pele offered another smile as she ruffled her wings against her side. She listened to the Goddess, curious and simply grinning as her eyes drew from Roko to Juuku with an expression that could only convey almost an 'oh' expression.

Meanwhile Juuku's cheeks seemed to flush a bit of a deeper red. The God sheepishly grinned, chuckling. "Yeaaaah, she's my 'Wahine' my mate. We were together fer a while back in the day but...things seemed to happen but I think now we're toooooootally together." The explaination itself was simple though Juuku could feel his heart thumping so fast against his chest that he couldn't quite think at the same time. He was happy, ever greatful for Pele's forgiveness and to be with her once again.

The ears of the Goddess flicked slightly as the other Goddess leapt towards her with such thrill. She gave a slight sheepish smile like the God beside her and curled her tail slightly tighter around her body.

"Ye-Yes. My Hoapili, my close frien' an' my...boyfriend."

That surreal feeling simply was something she couldn't shake although it did make her smile, laughing softly as she shook her head and looked towards Juuku. Though their love had only rekindled a few days ago, the two of them were slowly getting use to it. It was amazing, the feeling of having someone to lean against and someone to stay beside throughout the ages only made it seem more comforting.

Smiling, the Goddess nodded. "We're... in love. We always 'ave been but its... taken a while ta' really tell eac' oth'a."

She got big-eyed, listening to the both of them talking about each other in such a way. Her heart was racing and warm and she realised suddenly that love was a wonderful thing. Roko had never been in love. She had loved creatures as family and friends, but never anything closer. She had always been too young and too...distracted. Besides, she hadn't really met that many people and certainly not enough to tell friend from lover.

Either way, it made her ridiculously happy to see Juuku so happy and the fact that his girlfried seemed really nice. She was already imagining them all like one big family. Juukie - her adopted brother - and Pele - her soon to be adopted sister - along with Koya and Nyoka and...and...

Wait. Didn't love usually mean cubs? She had a little experience of this from her time in prides before and after her imprisonment. Lions got together, announced their love and eventually little itty, bitty babies would appear - as if by magic!

However, when a couple were going to have babies, the female usually got big in her belly and Pele certainly didn't look big in the belly. Maybe it was too early for that yet? Maybe it took time to get bigger, swelling like fruit that grew on trees in the jungle.

She smothered a giggle into her paw and realised that she was probably expected to reply.

"Rokopelli is sooo happy, Juukie!" And she hugged him tight, wrapping her arms up across his shoulders. "You lookses sooo happy! You got sparkly eyeses and happy mouth and everything! You was happy before but not this happy. Love is good for you, we think. Pele too. Your...'Wahine'" Then she turned to hug the other female but hesitated, seeing the flames properly for the first time.

Roko had never seen fire before.

Ever.

She shook her head as if it were her eyes playing tricks on her and then cast a sidelong, questioning look towards Juuku. However, deciding it was rude to use mind-speech with someone else present she decide to ask aloud. She'd never been afraid of asking questions before now in any case. How were you supposed to learn if you never asked questions?

"How comes your hair moves like that?" She took a step forwards. "Will it bite us?"

It was hard to even deny that Juuk as happy, perhaps moreso than before! Love was something he only experienced with Pele though, the opposite of love, he had felt the effects of what love wasn't suppose to be like though paws done he certainly liked this love a lot better! Even so it was already starting to feel like their was a family already started- there was Ezriel, Pele's brother, and of course Roko who was Juuku's bestest friend of all! On the subject of love, neither Juuku nor Pele had thought about starting their own family- it was too soon but, secretly, Juuku had thought about it once though the idea of little grommet godlings runnin' around seemed to make him grin in a lopsided manner. As for Pele, well she had already stated clearly that they certainly weren't going to rush into things so quickly but who knew? Maybe she'd change her mind sooner than she thought?

The God smiled wide, grinning as he nodded his head. "Me too, Rockin' Roko!" He replied, somewhat unexpecting a hug though, following her lead, he too wrapped his paws around her as he sat back upon his haunches. "Love is definitely good fer suuuure and it feels good to finally be with someone again whom I've been missin' like crazy!"

It certainly had been a long struggle of attempting to demonstrate feelings, tracking one another and even getting each other to take the time to sit and listen to what had always been within their hearts, those true feelings that hadn't been spoken for so long. Though the waiting time for such a thing was grueling and so long it certainly was worth it. It had made them both stronger, more relaxed and more open to their feelings and to life in general.

The Goddess seemed to nod, smiling as her tail wings fluttered slightly as she looked towards Roko.

For a moment Pele was unsure of what exactly was happening or what was captivating the other Goddess to look towards her with a near awe and curious expression. Though the Goddess arched a brow upwards, wings rustling against her sides before it made sense. "Oh-" the Goddess was a bit confused at first but then she chuckled softly. "Its made o' fi'a an' just like my paw," she commented, lifting up her right forepaw as well. "Volcanoes life fuel an' blood is fi'a an heat and I thin' 'dats why its apart o' me too." Pele flicked her tail, shaking her head.

"No, it don' bite. You can touch it if ya' wan'- won' burn you. Youse' a friend."
PostPosted: Fri Aug 08, 2008 3:44 pm

She nodded, taking it all in, absorbing this new information just as a child would. Love was brilliant! Well if it gave Juuku that wonderful smile it couldn't have been all that bad. She wondered briefly what it would like to feel that happy and wondered whether she could ever fall in love. Any male she did find would have to like snakes, for one thing, and the desert...and the sea...and all of her friends. They'd also have to not mind her weird powers and her ability to get slightly confused.

Ugh, was that lion even out there?

She shook her head and after listening to Pele's words, her smile widened - if it was even possible - and she reached up to pat the goddess on the head.

"It no hurt us." She said in a hushed whisper. "Magic!" Then she sat back on her haunches, forepaws curled comically against her chest and blinked between the two.

"What is a volcano? You twos talk so funny! Some peoples say we tallk funny, but not as funny as you!" She giggled and pressed her paw to her nose to snuffle it away. "You confuse us!" She bounced a little.

"Is a volcano like a big firey pit of...fireness? Can we see it someday? We would really, really like to, especially if its as fun as the water is. Juuku taught us how to swim you know. It is so much fun! Can we swim in the volcano tooo?"

She paused for breath.

Pele manged to chuckle, feelng the flames of her so called 'mane' wrapping themselves around the paw of the Goddess as they flickered and seemed to kindle brighter. "Magic though jus' be careful," Pele minded. "Fi'a 'dats not apart o' me or not near me is outta' my control. Only lava an' what ta' volcanoes create is where my powa's boundary is. But if ya around an' come wid' us to the volcanoes 'den I thin' you'd unda'stand." At the next question, Pele pursed her lips slightly in trying to describe her forte's domain easily rather than in a confusing manner. "A volcano is'a mountain though the mountain' doesn' 'ave a top- its open wid' a hole. Pressa' unda' ta' surface makes it shake an' ta' ground shake an' soona' o' lata' 'dey explode wid' smoke, ash an' lava- molten rock an' fi'a. But its only some mountains, not all o' em."

Both God and Goddess seemed to chuckle, nodding their head. They had gotten the comment often and, honestly, they were proud of their heritage and their ancestery which dated back to ancient times, the natives of small islands which perhaps many in these lands were rather unfamiliar of. Though it was true; their diction and typical jargon was something quite strange and unusual to those they met that it seemed to confuse and leave people a bit unsure of what exactly they were saying or talking about. But, on the other paw, this only made them be able to speak sweetly to one another without people listening in.

As Roko seemed to bounce, Pele nodded. "Sort'a but-" looking towards Juuku, she saw the God nod his head and encourage her with a wide grin leaving Pele unable to deny such a request. "Yes. One day I'll take ya' to a volcano and show ya' what its like. Jus' like Juu, I'll teach ya 'bout it." For a moment the Goddess seemed to raise her brows and quickly shook her head. "No, trus' me ya' don' wanns swim in it," she laughed.

"I'd ratha' 'ave ya keep ya' ou' o' 'arm."

She listened, again, in wide-eyed innocence.

There was so little she knew about the world and so much she wanted to learn. For Rokopelli these two Gods seemed to know a lot about everything. She'd already learnt so much and she hadn't even known them for that long. Her heart felt lighter being around people she felt safe with. Strangely, she had no doubt that they wouldn't protect her...and deep down that's what she really wanted.

A part of her, anyway.

Pelli wanted to be able to protect herself.

Roko wanted others to protect her.

But the oddest thing was that Pelli was starting to think the same. She would never admit that she felt vulnerable alone but it was true. She felt safer in a group, as if no one would dare harm her.

Rokopelli didn't know it, but her personalities - different as they were - had begun to find similarities to link to.

"Okay, we won't swim in the volcano." She promised. "But we would like to see it! We've seen mountains, big, big mountains, but never one with fiery stuff inside its belly!" She couldn't hold back her excitement now. It was going to be an amazing adventure.

However, the excitement and the journeying had left her exhausted and for a moment she was forced to slump down on the ground, wiping a paw across her eyes.

"But we won't go yet, 'kay? We needs some sleepses." She yawned. "We travelled a long way cos of...oh! We had something to tell you, Juukie, it's why we came." She remembered his earlier question now, his much earlier question about what kind of stuff she'd been wanting to talk about. However, she didn't want to ruin all the joy with talk of a bad God so she decided it could wait until another day.

"We'll tell you after nap, 'kay?"

Juuku nodded his head, grinning as his tail flicked casually behind him. "'Cha! We toooootally can't swin in the volcano but there are some sweet natural springs and lakes nearby! Though they don' have any waves it'd be a totally gnarlatious place to relax at for a day, right?" Even Juuku seemed excited, realizing that it had been a long time since he had visited a volcano alongside Pele. Volcanoes were very much apart of he and Pele's heritage and seeing the opposite element that went against the Surf was always amusing and even captivating to see both the surf and volcanoes interact. Certainly their next adventure would be totally sweet!

As both God and Goddess watched as Rokopelli slumped onto the ground tiredly, the two smiled.

"We won't, dudette!" Juuku commented with a typical, lopsided grin. "You jus' take it easy and when you wake up you can toooootally tell me all about it, kay?"

Even though curiosity seemed to cause him to wonder and be a bit anxious the God also settled down while Pele followed. It seemed that everyone was tired, wiped out from a long day and from the pleasent heat. As Pele and Juuku nestled together and Juuku also rested against Roko, the God yawned.

"Tell me... after nap...."

Within a few moments, both God and Goddess were out like a light. It was a good end to a rather eventful day
