Yume wo mite Namida shite Kizutsuite mo . . . So Gaia isn't the only online community jumping on the Olympic cheer bandwagon. biggrin
Blizzard is also adding some fun items to celebrate the summer event!
You get a (somewhat funny-looking) tabard that mimics the design of the Olympic rings just for participating in a battleground until August 25th, and if you win one you get a chance to receive a Chinese dragon pet! ^_^ I'm sooo excited! The tiny dragon looks awesome!

I'm going to jump head-first into the BGs on my Holy priest, too. xd You just have to win the battleground, I don't believe the number of killing blows you dealt has any part in it.

only took me 2 battlegrounds on my mage, one to get the tabard and one to get the medallion. Got the tabard on my druid now, but 5 successful AV rounds later and no sign of the medallion. xP

You just need to at least have 5 killing blows and a win in any battleground to get teh dragon.

Lunarisa You just need to at least have 5 killing blows and a win in any battleground to get teh dragon. Untrue entirely. I play a healer in battlegrounds which means on a GOOD day I'll get like one killing blow, and I still got my dragon last night.
