I recently put some music up on myspace.
I would like some feedback as to, what you people think.
ive gotten comments from a few people already, but I'd like some from some musicians.
Sorry about the poor quality, I record directly into my laptop, and mix with freeware, so yea.
I'm not sure if this is in the right forum, if not, sorry sweatdrop
anyways, thanks in advance for any feedback.

As for the music, i couldnt make anything out, need to work on those recording skills, sounding like straight boo boo.

yea, the recording blows big time.
Its all a jumble really, ive had peopel ask what instrument that is "the low one",
and I'm all like, dude, those are the vocals. razz
|

Yeh you got the really low growl batman voice thing going. Sounds like you have it turned up to loud, or are recording too close to the mic. What program are you using? Audacity at least? You should turn up the instruments in the background, level everything out the best you can.

well theyre inhales, I use them simply because I was told not to, and cause I'm fairly okay at it.
I use Wavepad and, i think its cause I think I have it up too loud,
I keep wanting to record better quality stuff, but I've been busy.

I guess just Hard Rock is all you could call it lol. I play alot of different styles of rock. But yeh i guess Hard Rock would be the best way to put it.

I suck at genres, im sure its some sort of Death, Black, Evil some sort of Doomish sounding name with those vocals.

I listened. Seems like you're recording with the guitar amp across the room and an answering machine in the background.
You should talk to DolphinizedTuna about recording gear. He knows good stuff for cheap.

Sounds like you're using obvious pitch shifters, it's noise-rock.

I use samples and loops that are just noise and feedback yes, it's part of what I do, Like I said before, I'm a vocalist and programmer, I just threw in bass for feel. other than the loops, none of that was edited.
noise-rock? sounds catchy though.
