The area between all buildings where foot passengers and speeders roam. You have to go through the streets to get anywhere.
PostPosted: Fri Aug 15, 2008 9:10 pm

The noise of the city nightlife could be heard everywhere. People getting home from late jobs, party animals, etc. A city lit up as if to create day during night, there was no end to the fun to be had here. There were three not joining in on the fun. Their goal this late at night was far different from the unsuspecting down below.

Leaping from roof to roof of the highest buildings, a blue-haired woman was scanning the area below with enhanced eyes. In a city of lights, falling prey to the dark corners was deadly. A fact that a couple of idiot teenagers were about to learn. "White Raven, Blackbird, I have a lock. Zodiac alley, south end." The slender woman stood up from where she had crouched down. She was short, that was easy to tell, but the rest of her blended into the night. The only exceptions were her ice-blue eyes and the matching ice-blue hair against which an interesting-looking black earphone was visible.

A goddess-like woman with a cloud of long white hair, which was currently in a braid, stood and tapped the microphone which was attached to her ear.
" Rodger, Tink. On our way." Except for her hair, she blended into the night with her fully black suit. A man stood behind her, his hair black as the night around him. The two of them hurried off, leaping off buildings to reach Tinkerbells location. They landed swiftly beside her in a rush of wind.
" Plan of action?" The man asked, his voice warm.
PostPosted: Fri Aug 15, 2008 9:37 pm

Tink felt her body respond to the man's presence, but locked the emotion away. Now was not the time for such things. "Basic supprise and capture. I don't want to deal with runners tonight. Last time we left too much damage." A grin tugged at the corners of her mouth, thinking of the last time it had been just her and the other woman on watch. A muffled scream was heard below. "Show time."

Muscles tensed quickly and then released as the blue-haired woman lept downwards, leaping between the two walls. Jumping from that height would have been no big deal to her, but by using the walls, they gained supprise and the advantage.

Cosette flit down to the ground like a bird, and with ease, cracked her fist into a couple jaws, while Dio threw some people around. With ease, the Supers knocked them out, using their strength and speed to end the criminals quickly. Dio stood quietly in the background, while the ladies did the talking. He was secretly watching Kaida, on whom he had a huge crush.

Frightened teenagers fled the scene; they'd never come around here again after seeing this. There was no way anyone would ever believe them. Three supers beating down bad guys. It was too much like the superhero comics of the old days for anyone to take them seriously.

The question was directed to both Cosette and Dio. "Home or cafe?" Having finished discussing the different points of attack, Kaida's mind steered towards where'd they go next.

Dio yawned, while Cosette tried to stifle her own.
" Im bushed. Home, I'd say." Dio mumbled. While Kaida shared an apartment with Liam, Dio had his own apartment up in Borealis. Cosette was on the process of moving into her own, infact, she'd be finished tommorow. The three Supers had decided to celebrate by going out tommorow evening, but that was a ways off. She'd been staying at Dios for the time, but decided to move out, wanting her own space.
" Why don't you two head home? I'll do a quick sweep and meet you there." Cosette said, stretching out her limbs a bit.

Dio smiled, a mischevious glint in his eyes.
" Alright. We'll see you there." With that, Dio lifted Kaida onto his shoulder easily, as if it was a chair for the tiny woman. He winked at her, before the two of them headed off towards Borealis.

Cosette smiled at the two of them. They were sure to hit it off sooner or later.
' Kai has Sara, Dio has Kaida, Kit has Jay, we all know that's going to happen..' She thought as she lept off the ledge of a nearby building onto a another rooftop. That left herself and Aiden, who she only thought of as a friend. Sure, he was attractive, but no. She sighed.
' Well, you never know. Someone might come along, and there you go.' She smiled to herself, and got back to her quick sweep of the sector.

Diesel gritted his teeth and grimaced in pain as Nash helped him step off the curb. The huge Cule-Human mutt was doing a good job of supporting Diesel's weight, but every movement only served as another reminder of three broken ribs.

"damn." Diesel hissed through his teeth as another step jolted his ribcage. "We can perform intergalactic travel, but they still can't do such a simple thing as healing broken bones."

"You're the one who wanted to come to the clinic instead of the proper hospital." Nash reminded him. Nash was infuriatingly calm and dependable in these situations, one of the many reasons Diesel kept him around.

"Well, you're the one..." Diesel began, but dropped off as he caught a glimpse of something flying between the buildings. " - the hell?"

"Diesel...that didn't make any sense..." Nash said. He wasn't paying attention to anything beyond getting Diesel into their speeder safely.

"Shut up...look...there!" Diesel said, ignoring the pain shooting through his ribs. "That's a person, Nash!"

"Don't be stupid...no one would survive a jump like that. It's the pain medication talking. How about you shut up and get in the speeder." Though his tone was becoming impatient, Nash gently eased Diesel into the passenger seat.

"I'm driving." Diesel said, making a grab for the controls.

Nash just laughed. "No you're not. not after what happened today at the track. You could have been killed because of your recklessness, and I'm not willing to throw away my life so easily." Nash managed to wrench Diesel's hands off the controls and ease himself behind them instead.

With a mighty leap, Cosette hopped off the edge of the building and onto the alleyway below, landing securely on all fours like a cat. She rose easily, twiddling with the end of her braid.
' Well, that sweep is finished. Now I can..Wait.' Her eyes crimson picked up a man, swathed in dark clothing farther down the street, approaching a speeder where two men, one human, and one too large for a human sat squabbling.

' Damn..' She took to the streets moving swiftly, so much so that no one on the lower streets seemed to notice her, though they weren't all that busy, suprsingly. She didn't move in the gangling sort of way a human would do when trying to run, but a more graceful, feline gait. The man in black was drawing a blaster now as he approached them, they were sure to notice, if they were observant, though they were arguing so it didn't seem likely.
' That's my cue..' She thought with a smile. Before he could even say a thing, her arm shot out and pulled him into the dark alleyway with her. Her voice came out silky smooth.
" I wouldn't do that if I were you." She knocked him out with a simple jab to his jaw, and left him lying in the alleyway. The two in the speeder probably didn't even notice.

Nash knew that a speeder like theirs was apt to draw attention from the local crowd. The Clinic that Diesel had chosen was in the heart of some of the rougher parts of the city. Their speeder was highly customized and built to be a show-piece. Aware of the looks that were being cast their way, Nash decided enough was enough. He started the speeder, and began the process of getting it air-bound.

"...could have driven...not much medication...hardly feel anything..." Diesel was mumbling discontentedly while trying to find a comfortable spot. He appreciated Nash's gentle touch at the controls, knowing if he'd driven he would probably have caused himself more pain. The knowledge of Nash's superior driving skills when the injured were concerned didn't do much to ease his temper, though.

"Keep an eye out for your flying person, Diesel. He might be lurking around here somewhere waiting to take your picture for the latest issue of Racing Quarterly." Nash snorted with laughter, knowing full well how much Diesel hated paparazzi.

Cosette smiled, and turned to the nearest building. With her fingers spread wide, she quickly climbed up the side and reached the rooftop, where she settled into an easy walk on the ledge.
' So, back to home. I gotta finish up moving tommorow.' She thought with a smile. She lept again, landing on a steel girder than connected one building to another. It was barely a two paces wide, but she had no trouble walking it, infact, she seemed too lost in her thoughts to notice. It was second nature to her, balancing.
' So, finish moving, breakfast, then some shopping with Kaida, lunch, a little more shopping, then back home to get ready to head out. Sounds like a plan.' Cosette thought, ticking things off on her fingers.

Richard had led the way, happy that he could help out Lorelee. Occasionall, he'd risk a glance toward her, but looked away when the same thought crossed his mind. Finally, after a short distance, he stopped in front of a medium sized store with a fancy name etched in Neon above the door. "Here we are..." He smiled, knocking on the window.
"Whose here at this hour!?" A strangely high voice demanded. Out of nowhere, it seemed, a very skinny tall man appeared, wearing a lavender, silk dress shirt with dark purple dress pants an a coordinating vest. "Oh well if it isn't Richard and his walking welcome rug! What can I do for you boys?!" He laughed with a flip of his wrist as he opened the door. Richard smiled.
"I want to turn in for that favor now..." He said with a nod as he stepped out of the way to reveal Lorelee.
"Hm...She seems to have some potential...but such a mess! ah, nothing a little elbow grease can't fix! Bring her in!" He demanded with a clap.
"This is Jaque, he's a bit eccentric, but a very...'fashionable' man...he'll take good care of you..." Richard assured her with a wink as he led her inside.

Lorelee really was too terrified and fascinated to say anything for or against the situation. She was promptly lead inside where Jaque began fuzzing over her like mad.
"W-what are we here for?" Lorelee asked Richard as she was bombarded with shoes, a new hat, and a lovely blue and white dress (like Belle's village dress).
PostPosted: Mon Aug 25, 2008 3:06 pm

"Just getting you cleaned up..." He explained with a kind smile and gentle nod.
"No talk! I must CREATE!" He shouted as he grabbed a bag full of cosmetics before throwing Lorelee behind a curtain that was used to block of the dressing rooms. Richard looked forward expectantly, wanting to make sure she was ok. Enty studied his face and nudged him gently. Richard looked down briefly as if to ask what. Enty seemed to smile but shook his head as if to dismiss it. Richard scanned the other clothes, seeing some tasteful designs, and others that were a bit trashy for his preference. He just hoped Jaque could at least give her a confidence boost with a new look...

There were small protests to the makeup, but Lorelee was too caught up to say no to much else. Before her eyes, her hair was fixed and pulled back half-way, her scrapes were cleaned, the dress was put on with matching shoes, and finally Lorelee was given just a dash of what smelled like sweet lavender perfume.
Slowly, very slowly, she was allowed to come out from behind the curtain. Needless to say, she looked healthier, and simply dazzling.
"Is it too much...? she asked, her cobalt eyes looking over her hands and dress.
