Kind of ironic how I'm currently listening to My Apocolypse by Arch Enemy right now as I type this. Anyways, I don't know if many of you have heard of this theory that something is going to happen on December 21, 2012. I just wanted to see what your guys' thoughts are on the subject. It's a really complicated thing so I'm not even going to attempt to explain it, but if you want to figure out more of this whole thing you could go to http://www.december212012.com/So what do you think about all this? Believe it? Don't? Scared? Personally I don't believe, or at least I don't want to believe it. It's quite a scary thought. There's religious beliefs to it, but then there is also scientific (something about the Milky Way and Sun and Earth lining up or something).

Maybe not to you, but I was kind of looking forward to having kids and a family and whatnot.
Anyways.
I'm not sure whether or not I should believe it.
They have been wrong with their predictions in the past.
I think it's a conspiracy almost... why do the numbers coincidentally equal 12?

I don't see what that would have to do with a World War, honestly. A War wouldn't make the Earth suddenly have tons of natural disasters.
The more I read this site, the less I believe.
Some guy from godknowswhen thinks that a war will make natural disasters increase, alien nations and crop circles, a polar shift and pole reversal, etc.
I mean, doesn't this just seem all to coincidental?
And just because a bunch of stupid celebrities believe it doesn't mean I will. talk2hand @ their site

at the time everything seemed so perfect  but now it was just one huge mistake Hey I want a family and kids too! =] it sounds fun.
But theres only one person I WANT to have a kid with and that wont happen ^^ therefore I'm royally screwed in that whole thing
if the world ends no one will even know, one day it'll be there, the next day it wont, end of story. But life is here and now, and we should be happy with that, not worry who dropped a bomb, or when the worlds going to end, that just fills everyone with fear. And who wants to live their "Last years" filled with fear, honestly

see, i kinda believe what the mayans said on this one- about there being a giant shift in thinking. i also think there will be a pole shift. see, my theory on the subject is that the earth will completely shift poles, and hterefore gravity centers and climates. this will cause mass panic and chaos, and cause many of the weaker-minded to go insane. you've seen what happens in disasters like Hurricane Katrina. people lose all sensibility. looting, murder, it's every man for himself, no matter the consequences to others. the world is obviously overpopulated, and it ain't getting any bigger. humans themselves have also created a sort f immunity to so many threats, making it a lot harder for us to die. now, looing at the human species, you can probably see that their appears to be a rift in the species. so lets say, this rift is a mass effort in the collective instincts to separate the stronger, more able humans from the less of that qualification. if the poles should shift and completely rewrite the earth as we know it today, the larger chunk of less able humans would likely be the ones to panic and lose all self control, essentially killing eachother off in a holocaustic attempt from our environment to keep us in check.
now, let's say that because of that, the remaining humans, healthy and intelligent, see this. such a disaster would surely spark a change in the way they think. this spreads, and as things are rebuilt, they decide to take a different route in their rebuilding than the one that doomed part of their species in the first place.
that's just my rough opinion, whaddy'all think?

They said the Omen was supposted to come 6-6-06, and it never came
so i don't think the world is going to end
if anything, the human race will already be dead by then cause of all the violence going on...

It could have and we just didn't see it.
If an "omen" was truly there it could have taken any form.
A lot of people keep saying that the world is going to end on 12/12/2012.
But they're idiots because the Mayan calendar doesn't even end until the 21st of December, 2012.
I don't know that I believe in this at all.
They couldn't predict the fall of their society, but we should believe that they could predict the end of the world thousands of years after their time?

I heard about the film coming out called 2012 and i think its just goning to scare people. see i would just like to forget about this whole thing because I'll only be 16 then. I wouldn't have lived my whole life out never fufill my dreams.I always say to myself the whole thing is bullshit.
They might be able to sort it out before then.
and if it did happen and there were huge floods and s**t like that before i DROWNED to death i would shoot myself because if i survived that would be hell on earth. but then again if that happens and humans to get wiped out maybe eveolution will take it place again and we will rise (arch enemy) again
