 A soft breeze ruffled Caelen's fur as she padded through the grass confidentally. Her belly was full, it was a sunny day, and she seemed to be alone enough to sing! "Looking to the sky to save me~ Looking for a sign a' life~ Make my way back home where I learn to flllyyy~"

Paris trotted along happily, his chest puffed out in pride and his horns glistening after a long and annoying grooming. He twitched his ears as he heard... singing? Creeping across a hill he peeked over to see who it was. Hmmmmm? A damsel, a fair maiden? She doesn't seem at all a little blue, but perhaps I should get closer and maybe find a clue... He began to crawl a little further over the hill, but losing his balance he began to roll down it, crashing right into the other ulaya.

Cael felt something smack her, and she fell over, getting a teethful of grass. "Hey!" She jumped up, glaring down at the other kit, ready to hiss. Then she noticed the horns. Those horns were adorable! And he didn't seem like he had meant to push her over... "Hey. Uh...are you okay?"

Paris got up and shook himself off, spitting out a few blades of grass. He nodded, "yes, I do think I'm quite alright. What about you? I hope I didn't give you a fright." He analyzed the other, she was pretty, perhaps he could flirt a bit once they finished introductions, and she was a singer, he liked it when a girl had a talent besides being attractive.

Her ears flicked at the formal speech and...was that rhyming? "Yeah, you scared me." Caelen admitted. "But not very much. My name's Caelen. What's your's?" She couldn't turn her gaze from his eyes. They were too green. Very pretty.

"Well, it's good then that I have now apologized, because it was just that I was so hypnotized," he winked with a faint playful smirk. "Caelen? Lovely name, I'm Paris, a kit like you the same." After composing himself a little better he sat down, hoping they could start a conversation, he needed little more practice with his rhyming.

"Ah. Paris. I like it! So, Paris, your parents aren't evil at all right?" She tried not to show that his flirt had gotten to her. Caelen asked because her only other friend that was a kit, Adriane, had a mother that had seemed to be from hell. Cael's boxhood hadn't been the best when the trapped white Palu tried to hang out with Adriane.

Paris shook his head, "no, not at all, they're an odd couple, but they're both very kind, tolerant, and supple." He nodded, well, at least one of their parents were tolerant at least. He opened his mouth to ask her about her parents, but closed it membering as his father told him once that not every ulaya knows their parents, and he didn't want to ruin a conversation that way.

Paris nodded, "I understand, curiosity is always in demand." He looked around, "so, you wanna go do stuff? Just so long as it isn't anything rough..." He didn't like fighting, and not only that but he always felt bad when he accidentally hurts someone or something with his horns.

"A lot of things, especially with someone like you, but for now, how 'bout horse shoe?" He looked around, they could probably make it work. Sticks, stones, and tree bark, they'd make have decent materials.

Paris blinked, he didn't quite know himself but his father had described it to him. Running off and collecting twigs he rushed back to her, making a scribble picture with them. "That's what it looks like, ha, psyche.~" Undoing the mess of twigs he made a horse shoe. "That's what it really looks like, and this time it's not a psyche."

She didn't know what a 'psyche' was, so she just shrugged and nodded when the real version came up. "Okay...so is this the game?" Caelen asked.
