I am bi, and I'm afraid to tell people that I am. I'm also worried about the reaction of the people when they find out. My little 10 year old cousan had told her mom I was bi and so my mom had confronted me about it. My mom told me that bis were freaks and they wanted to get harrassed. My mom had told me she could live if i were gay, and she could live if i were straight. So apperantly I told my mom was straight. How do I tell people at school I"m bi? Only my closest friends know I'm bi. Should I tell people I'm bi that aren't my closest friends?

I told all my friends I was Bi, made it obvious too so people that I didn't tell will know. My mother found out I was bi by a note i got from my girlfriend XD she took it as a phase thou... ><""

I would say that you shouldn't care about what people think so long as it makes you feel happy/accomplished/ect but due to a couple of my friends I realize certain people live off of being accepted ><" So all I can say is do what makes you feel better at night.

sometimes it takes years for parents to understand their teenagers, straight or not. the thing is, you don't really have to tell them until it's important (like your first gf). and you don't really have to tell anyone. i mean, you could lead your life being happy and caring and love as you want but never tell anyone your bi and after a while, they wouldn't care whether or not. i mean, you dont' have to tell anyone until your in a relationship. until then, it won't really matter. and parents usually have lots of trouble understanding a kid once they come out. so never look for understanding. aim for acceptence once you find the right time to come out.

That's Very true. Personally, I wouldn't have told anybody. Until I told my school counselor, who then proceeded to tell my parents.

Now I don't care who knows, so hopefully the same will be for you after you decided to actually come out. Good luck!

I see, but, I am really tired of being an out cast.
this is how i came out. dont do it the way i did because i'm a retard and do things ubber differntly on purpose.

We were all sitting down n i was being... well ME!
everyone has always questioned weather i'm virgin/not a virgin weather i'm bi/straight/lez and all this other crazy s**t about me... So i got fed up with it and i stood infront of everyone and just told em "i'm bi damnit, Yeah i wasn't drunk last night I dont know about her but I liked it(I was at a party with my gf at the time and yeah... sprung) and if any of you have a problem with it shout eww and point at me right now or forever hold your f**king peace" they all said eww... but then meh besties friend kimmy gave me a hug n accepted it. then everyone else was like yeah... they all looked at me funny... it was halarious. 2 weeks later they all forget i'm bi. Every time i remind them i get the same reaction.... blaugh
Last time i reminded them rebecca ran away.... We were on a fairy so she couldn't go too far.

I told this girl that i thought was my friend that i was bi and then she told everyone else and no one had a problem with it. so you never no people might not say anything so dont get worked up over it.
some of my friends actually find it intersting and give me 20 questions.
