GRASS FIELD, SEASHORE FIELD, ROCK FIELD, FOREST FIELD! Grass field: The breeze from the stadium air conditioners rustled the flat grassland arena, sending small clouds of harmless pollen into the air. The land is completely flat, making manuverability easy to those build to walk on land. Seashore Field: Split down the middle between land and sea, this field compliments land and water type pokemon. On the west end of the field is the land section: fine grained sand gradually slopes downward to meet the salt water on the east end of the battleground. A single palm tree wavers lightly in the breeze (the stadium ceiling is open when this field is selected) while shells are scattered in random places in and on the sand. In the water half of the battleground, the water laps at the sand much like at a real beach; when it retracts it leaves behind strands of seaweed and pieces of coral. Both are found under the water, offering shelter for water-types (or those who can hold their breath for great periods of times).Rock field: Tremors rippled forth from center-field as the basic floor shifted to a rock and dirt field, rock towers jutted forth from the ground to offer a place of escape or an attack advantage. The breeze from the stadium air conditioners stirred the loose sand on the field, this creates a mini sandstorm that could possibly blind those who were battling.Forest Field: Thick trees sprout at random places throughout the field, some small while others seem to reach out and touch the ceiling of the stadium. As with ancient trees, some roots are seen being thrust above the ground which makes easy for a pokemon to trip if they do not watch where they are going. Spacing between the trunks vary, making passage difficult for those on the ground and in the air. The ground is littered with piles of pine needles, leaves, and sticks of all sizes; several tree trunks and rotting logs can be found scattered around as well.

Renekai strolled into the stadium and prepared herself for a terrible chill or immense heat-- nope, it felt normal. Could it be the grass or electricity field, then? It couldn't be fire or ice! Renekai walked into the box and closed her eyes, breathing deeply. No scents of plant growth or decay. Through her closed lids, Renekai could see a normal amount of light. "Oookay... Then what field is--?" Renekai opened her eyes and her mouth dropped open comically. "What the heck?" Renekai said in an awed whisper. "The field... It's... Normal?!" Renekai blinked several times. Plain old concrete, clear as day.
"... Wait," Renekai said, apparently talking to the field. "I've heard of you! You're going to change unexpectedly, aren't you? Well, here goes! Bell, come out!"
Bell flew out of her pokeball and took her position on the field without comment. She was ready for anything, even concrete!
"Watch out!" Renekai cautioned. "This field will probably change... Be ready to fly!"

With Chirper resting comfortable on her shoulder, Luna walked to the field in with a small grin. She was battling Rene again. Of course, Chirper would have a small weakness with Bell's ice type nature, but the dual type also provided Bell with a large weakness to rock type attacks she could exploit. "Ready Chirper?" She asked to the pokemon on her shoulder.
"BluBluu~" Chirper replied, flapping his wings lightly. Luna smiled. She knew Chirper would need a bit of enthusiasm to get over Bell's apparent HP advantage.
Turning her attention to the opposite side of the field, Luna saw Renekai talking to the field and gave a small chuckle. The trainer was right, this field (although quite plain at the moment) was one of the most unique fields of all. The Russian Roulette field.

As both trainers arrived at the field with their pokemon present, the field began to rumble and morph. Grass grew from the concrete and the air conditioner turned on to spread pollen all over the air. "Ah~Seems our first field is the grass field~" Luna said to no one in particular. She then turned to her companion, taking off Chirper's hat so it would not get torn up by Bell's attack. "Let's get started then~Natural gift!"
With his hat off, Chirper knew that it was battle time. He flew into the field, the Wiki berry (he liked how the color matched his hat) tied to his leg glowing. "Bluuu!" Chirper called out, calling upon the rocks in the ground to shoot out and upwards at Bell.

Joy, Bell thought as she did her best to dodge the flying rocks. How I do love that attack... The Delibird managed to avoid the worst of the rocks, though she did get a few bad nicks.
"Ice Beam!" Renekai shouted. It was too bad that they had to resort to freezing to early on!
Bell opened her beak, charging up an Ice Beam. That little Swablu would get it! Bell dispelled the beam, shooting it across the stadium at high speeds.

'Bell's freezing attacks again?' Luna wondered to herself with a small sigh. They would definately be on the edge if they get hit by one...she could always put up a safeguard later though. Right now they needed to deal as much damage as possible and hope they wouldn't be frozen for a long period of time. "Chirper! Use natural gift to raise the rocks around you!"
Not wasting a second, Chirper commanded rocks to fly out from the ground once again. The rocks flew infront of him, taking the hit from the ice beam. Now they were glittering, shiny, SPIKEY rocks. "Bluu..." Chirper looked at the rocks sadly, he really did want to keep one of them. But he needed to survive this battle!
"BLU!" Chirper's eyes glowed white as he launced the sharp frozen rocks at Bell again.

This time, Bell was ready and managed to dodge all of the flying rocks. "This isn't working..." Renekai mumbled. "Bell, use Aurora Beam!"
Bell charged up a beam of multi-colored lights in her beak, carefully aiming not at Chirper, but a little above his head. As she released the beam, a beautiful Aurora Borealis arched over the ceiling, directed mostly at Chirper and lowering his attack.

"Stat moves, huh?" Luna commented, putting a finger to her lip as she thought about what to do next. Bell's HP boost definately handicapped Chirper and a stat deduction was not very helpful either. "Okay then, Chirper. Mirror move!"
"BluBluu~!" Chirper replied, setting up a transparent circular glass wall of energy infront of him as the Aurora Beam headed towards him. The attack struck Chirper and sapped some of the swablu's strength, but now the mirror infront of the bird pokemon was glowing wildly. A burst of light bounced off the mirror and sent an Aurora Beam identical to Bell's right back Delibird.

"Never mind, Aurora Beam!" Renekai shouted. There was nothing left to do... Renekai just had to hope for the best.
Bell glared at Chirper. Finally, a chance to hit that dopey bird! Bell charged up another beam of multicolored lights and fired.

Rene didn't roll a dice for the latest post in our battle...unless it was for a stat change? But that's against the rules.
You can only lower attack one stage, you can't lower it by 100 HP because then the other person would end up doing no damage regularly ^^;
You may however use a move to up your attack/lower your opponent's defense.

((I knooooooow, FFN! I already told you, Gaia is messed up and I can't roll! I posted it anyway just so you would know that I haven't forgotten about it. I already said that I'd roll as soon as I could! *flails* I might have to roll in the thread if this keeps up.

Rene, you were suppose to switch the fields since you are the one who set up the thread. SO this field switch is a bit delayed, but oh well. We're switching to SEASHORE FIELD now :3 ))
Luna was a bit glad that she had used mirror move. Now with a more drawn-out battle, Chirper had a chance to build up his four times supereffective moves over Bell. "Com'mon, is that all you have?" Luna taunted at Rene and Bell, seeing if she could provoke any reaction. "Chirper, Natural Gift!"
Chirper quickly gave a strong downward winthrust to move out of the way of the Aurora Beam attack, but it was too fast. The attack managed to nick his talon, but at least it wasn't a direct hit. The swablu wiggled the sore foot a bit, giving a hiss of dissatisfaction. Right as Chirper was about to unleash another attack, the field started to shift to a beach setting.
The swablu ignored it all, there was nothing shiny in the new battlefield anyways. He secretly wanted to see the ice battlefield come up, not the sandy beach. A field change definately wouldn't stop his attack! The wiki berry tied around his leg glowed once more as a barrage of sand compacted into rocks rose to hit Bell.
