ya... subject pretty much says it all... i go through all of the instructions on how to connect them together and when the windows media center gets the the screen where it says searching for extender.. connecting... it says error... any suggestions on what i am doing wrong here?

All I know is you have to have a computer wmc ready using vista or search for a download if any for the 2005 edition for XP or already ready. You can also download or update to windows media player 11, goto to top where it says library's arrow- go down to media sharing and look for the xbox360 system icon (its good to have your system on so it can read it) click it and approve it. thats the easier way to link them.

Also adding; if your PC and 360 are using different connections (wireless, Ethernet LAN, etc.), Windows Media Connect won't work.

u suppose to go to windows media connect and start a media share with the 360 there is a code to use either on the pc or the 360.....i forgot
