I have to say Japanese or Korean. Due to their perfect episode number range. xD Taiwanese dramas usually drag things out over way to many episodes.
I'd probobly say Japanese though. : ) Most of what I've seen is Japanese.

So far Korean wins for me. It may7 have something to due with the first Asian drama I saw was Korean but I like the place, and how they feel like they could happen but never will.

Korean, because I've started to notice similar patterns/themes used in Japanese dramas... :3

i like taiwanese drama's better because of their long, stretched series. they make you think 'OMG whats gunna happen!' another word for that is that they create a lot of suspense. i like suspense, cuz it makes me excited. without suspense, what would be so good about dramas. also, in all the taiwanese dramas ive seen, they all have a lot of DRAMA (kissing, love ,etc.) i like lovey dramas heart xp

To be honest I quite like the Japanese drama's... I almost feel like theyre quality of production is better-- the same is with Korean drama's. Most of what I watched is Japanese but from what I saw of Korean drama's I quite liked it ^^.
The Taiwanese and Chinese ones bothered me.. im not sure what specifically bothered me about them.. i tried watching hana kimi[Taiwanese] and stopped halfway through cause I just couldnt stand it, then I watched the japanese one and found myself hooked~

►‼◄See time don't stop, the crime don't stop
I'm a big fan of every country's dramas, but I have to say that Korean dramas are constantly better quality, better screenplay, and better actors. They are excellent overall most of the time. I've only encountered three or four that I felt had bad screen plays or actors, and the film quality is always excellent.
I find that Japanese dramas are too short for my taste, and they seem to either have no real plot, or too much plot and not enough character development. Though I'm not saying there haven't been a few that I really like. I just wish there were more, and that they would make them a little longer.
Taiwanese dramas have leave me with mixed feelings. Some of them are absolutely wonderful all around, with great actors and plots and filming, but then there are some where one or two points are lacking. Or they are too comedic for their own good, and not serious enough. There are some I love, and some I hate. Though very few of the latter.
Thai Lakorns are the ones I like to watch out for on different websites and then watch immediately, because even if some parts of the plots are often recurring in similar situations in other lakorns, they always have a different story, and their acting is excellent. Not to mention, no matter which couple it is, there is always chemistry between the main couple that will make the whole thing just sizzle with romance. There are some things I dislike about these, but I mostly like everything about them.
All in all, I think Korean dramas are my overall favorite, but Taiwanese and Thai are a close second, with Japanese bringing up the rear, though, like I said, I love dramas from all of the countries, and certain actors and actresses as well.
So I won't stop till I'm sittin' on top ►‼◄

I personally like ones from Japan the most, but Korea does a fantastic job as well.
But while I have stumbled across some Taiwanese and Chinese dramas that held an uncommon shine for their genre... that was it --- that particular pattern does not, unfortunately, apply to all of their works. But maybe in the future some good ones will come out --- or maybe I just haven't yet seen one.
;D
