 Even though I'm not completely done, people can start posting. Oh, if anyone would like to be in charge of or help with keeping up with the Kingdom Hearts 2 news, please let me know. Either post or pm me. This is a thread where you can talk about everything Kingdom Hearts. You can share pictures, fan fic, secrets about getting through this one part in the game, who's hotter, anything that is related to Kingdom Hearts. Just follow the rules below.1.  ~Kingdom Hearts~The first of the games. Kingdom Hearts for the PS2 combines Disney characters with Final Fantasy characters. Sora, a 14 year old boy, lives on Destiny Island with his two friends, Kairi and Riku. Sora has this weird dream and soon all this weird stuff starts happening. His island is attacked by these creatures called the Heartless and eventually, Sora ends up in Traverse Town. He meets up with Donald and Goofy to begin an adventure to stop the Heartless and to find Kairi, Riku, and King Mickey.
The game has some really difficult parts to it, ((I've never been able to get pass the lizard in the Deep Jungle)) but is really fun and has a good plot to it. I really suggest that you at least try to play it in order to get an idea of what's going on before you play Kingdom Hearts:Chain of Memories.

~Kingdom Hearts:Chain of Memories~
This game is for the Game Boy. It is a must to play this before you play the second Kingdom Hearts for it links the first and second one. This game starts out exactly where the last one left off. Which of course, Donald, Goofy, and Sora were still trying to find King Mickey and Riku. They meet up with this shady character and find themselves in Castle Oblivion. Sora soon starts to forget some memories while he starts remembering others. Past that, I have no idea what happens cause I haven't finished playing the game yet.
There is a really good plot to the game, so far, but it is a bit confusing. The bosses aren't really that hard to beat, but getting to them can be hard. You use cards to open up doors and to fight. It can be hard to find the right card you need to open the door and it can take some time in some cases. Otherwise, Chain of Memories is a really good game.

~Kingdom Hearts 2~Not much is known about the game for it is not out yet. It will be for the PS2 possibly in Sep. 2005. The game time is one year after the first game, it has a new outfit for Sora, a different kind of heartless, and new worlds. One of the worlds, which is introduced in Chain of Memories, will appear in this game.
That is about all I know of the game. I'll try to keep this updated when news comes out.

Man oh man, I love Kingdom Hearts. Though the pictures of the princess' have me slightly confused. I know that the image of Sleeping Beauty belongs in the world of Awakening... I mean, if that's the thing that you're going for. And if you're doing World by World, "End of the World" should also be mentioned, ne? ^.^
The new world that is introduced in Chain of Memories is called Twilight Town, that has to do with the character Namine. And Sora forgets the memories of 'importance' because like the mysterious Unknown suggests, he has to forget in order to remember.
Do you plan on putting the names of the Unknowns here too?
For Kingdom Hearts 2, information on the playable worlds has been released that these worlds will/rumored to be playable,
More of Ancient Greese, country from Beauty and the Beast ((which would make sense with Belle and Beast playing rather large roles in KH1, and COM)) Robin Hood world, Lion King world, Black Cauldron, and Sword in the Stone, amoung others, like Great Mouse Detective, and scenes from Mulan would suggest that she at one time will join your party, or a visit to her world.
Also, something so awesome, like Dark Cloud, Kingdom Hearts 2 will be played in REAL TIME!! WOOOOOOOOOOO, no, everlasting daylight, or night time!!
Eh, s'all I feel like writing at the moment. But, yeah, if you need any help on defeating that pesky lizard from the Jungle just pm me. Though I know the Fira helped alot with me...

I really enjoy Kingdom Hearts. I don't really know if it's just for one reason or alot of reasons. For example, I love Final Fantasy, I mean I'm a huge fan. And then I've always grown up with Disney and I still love it. So you put two and two together and you get a hit.
The gameplay so far in both the first one and Chains of Memories (I have both), are very good in my opinion. Though I still haven't myself beaten the first game, I have seen the ending. The first game for me was really hard in places because I was just getting into rpg and what not. I've always played video games as long as I can remember, but probably in the last 4-5 years I've got into more rpg's. For Chains of Memories, having the whole card idea really has intrigued me and it's actually kind of fun! (Though I'm stuck and I can't beat Captain Hook...HELP!) xp

Oh yeah, MAN!!! I HATED fighting Captain Hook!! He was really one of the harder bosses, not quite as hard as the eggplant thang inside of Monstro, and slightly easier then Maleficent's dragon form in HB. But the way that I finally defeated Captain Hook was that I put Ursula, Oogie Boogie, Search Ghost, Green Requiem, and I can't remember if you've encountered Defenders yet, but they would probably help too.
But of course putting those in your deck eat up a LOT of CP so you have to take out some attack cards, however, you can put what you want in your deck if you think you'll add onto my idea or whatnot...
Also, when the boat starts to tip one way, run to the faaaaaar otherside of the screen and reload. When he tries to throw the bombs after you, the direction of the ocean's sway will just fall back onto him.
I hope that at least helped somewhat. ^.^

Notilucahope: I forgot about the End of the World world. I'll add that in. And yes, I'll eventually add in the Unknowns and a few other characters from COM. I need to add a Castle Oblivion part to the list also. And thanks about the worlds. If you don't mind, I think I'll quote you and put that in the KH 2 section. And that's cool that the game will be in real time. I like games like that.
DrdScully: I was afraid when I read about the cards that it would be a card battle game, like YuGiOh. I thought it was going to be that you pick a card, attack, the enemy picks a card, etc. But the cards are interesting. And yeah, Captian Hook is a pain. I hate those stupid bombs. I don't remember what enemy cards I had, but I stocked up mostly on attack cards. I tried to keep Hook from using combos as much as possible and attacked quickly. But he is one of the harder ones to defeat. The hardest, though, is Darkside on Destiny Island. You'll need a lot of time to defeat him.

As for quoting, go for the gusto, but 99% of the credit goes to kingdomhearts2.net for all the information. I just basically paraphrased it.
Aww man, Darkside is the hardest?! COMMON!! He was so freakin easy in the ps2 game!! What happened?! And that's not saying much considering the guy with the Ice that brainwashed Riku (again((that poor kid, everyone just hates him... )) ), that laughs like a girl that has me questioning the sexuality of the character who's name I can't remember, is giving me soooo much trouble!
