Rhapsody stood in the meadow, lazily munching on some clover. He had been wondering about all day but had not run into a single soul. He almost thought every had dropped off the face of the planet. Lately, there had been buzy about the lands as foals kept popping up here and there. His own half-brother had ended up getting a friend pregnant and foals were on their way here soon. He had never really had any exprience with them other than when he had raised his son and when his brother was little. He wasn't sure if he could deal with them if they were anyone else's other than a family members. So he tried to avoid them as best as possible.

Tiny bronze-colored hooves seemingly hovered inches above the ground as the colt fluttered about the meadow with not a care in the world. Pink wings carrying him, Amitola noticed something not too awfully far away, and couldn't help but grin. Was that stallion... Pink? "Well this should be fun." He flew toward the male, and when he reached him, Amitola poked him in the rump with his horn. "Hey, there, Pinky!"

Rhapsody jumped in suprise at the sudden poke he had recieved in his rump by something rather pointy. Quickly the stallion turned to face whatever it was that had a very young voice. He stopped as his eyes went wide in suprise at what was before him. He had never really seen a unicorn or a flutter before and here was this tiny foal with both a unicorn horn and flutter wings, floating just inches from the ground as his tiny wings flapped to keep him up. He quickly ragained his calm and glared at the small foal. "Don't you know it is not polite to poke others with your horn? And my name is Rhapsody not Pinky." he corrected.

Amitola couldn't help but laugh when the grown horse jumped. "I know, but the reaction was rather priceless. And I think I like like Pinky better. Besides, what kind of foal would I be if I weren't out causing mischief?" Grinning, he fluttered his way rather quicky around the stallion, examining him before speaking again. "Y'know, I've got pink wings 'n' stuff, but it never was my favorite color. Must suck to be you!"

The older stallion just huffed in annoyance at the colts bold comments. He thought that they were supposed to respect thier elders not make fun of them. Who were this ones parents? Didn't they ever teach him anything? "You would be a foal who is staying out of trouble. Didn't your parents ever teach you to respect your elders? You shouldn't go around making fun of them. Especially since they are bigger than you." he said, ignoring the colts comments about his pink coat.

The colt rolled his eyes. "Well, duh! But how boring would that be?" He thought about the parent question for a moment before answering. "Actually, I don't live with my parents, so no, they didn't." Grinning, Amitola added, "Well if you start to come after me, all I've got to do is fly away, so what's your point?"

The stallion rolled his eyes as well. Such a bold colt, should watch what he says. "By the looks of things, I don't think you could fly very high. Otherwise you wouldn't be just a few inches from the ground. And just because you can fly doesn't mean I am slow." he said while in his mind he was a bit worried about what the colt had said about his parents. He didn't live them? Does that mean they didn't want him or something?

Amitola huffed a bit. "I can so! I just don't like to sometimes because the wind carries me easily, y'know? 'Cause I'm so little, and all." He nodded before bringing up the pink subject again. "So, Pinky, were your parents pink, too, or is it just you?"

Rhapsody sensed the foals sudden change of topic and was rather amused by it. "No I wouldn't know what it is the fly or be easily carried by the wind. And neither of my parents are pink but my sister is as well. My father was red and my mother white and when you mix that you get pink." he stated matter of factly. "Besides, what is your name? I have told you mine but I do not know yours."

"Riiiight. Oops! And duh. Who doesn't know their colors?" Amitola grinned. His name? "My name's Amitola, which means rainbow in some two-leggers' language." He gave the stallion a side view. "If my name fits me so well, why isn't yours Pinky, Pinky?"

He gritted his teeth and then slowly answered. "Becuase that is not the name my parents gave me." he responded. The foal was really starting to get on his nerves. "As for knowing your colors, there are some who don't and there are also those who are colorblind."

"Then maybe you should'a had a two-legger name you. They seem to make more sense." Getting tired, the foal landed beside Rhapsody. "Well what makes you just assume that I'm stupid or colorblind? That'd be pretty funny though, wouldn't it? Somebody that looks like me being colorblind?" He laughed.

"And what difference would it make if I was named by a two-legger and not my parents? I think they did a fine enough job naming me." he said watching as the foal landed. He guessed that he was tried from all of his floating and what not. "I don't know if it would be funny having someone so colorful be colorblind. In any case its not nice to make fun of those with handicaps."

"It's just that two-leggers name things more appropriately, is all. Don't have to be grumpy 'bout it." He rolled his eyes at the adult. "Well you're the one just throwing random disabilities out there, figured I was allowed to, too. Besides, you're not my parent, so why are you going around telling me what is and isn't nice?"

Rhapsody huffed tiredly, he really didn't know why he was trying to tell the foal what was right and wrong. It really should be up to his parents but to him it looked like his parents were not doing a good job of it. "Because from the looks of it, your parents haven't been telling you what's nice and whats not and some one has to tell you." he responded in a tired tone.
