This RP takes place in the region of Kanto, where you can play the role of a pokemon trainer, coordinator, breeder, and much more. At the moment, an evil organization called Team Rocket is scheming to capture a legendary pokemon known as Deoxys, and use its powers to rule Kanto.

Rules:
To be a member of Pokemon Champions, there is a list of rules you must follow-
1) Be a frequent poster. WE want this to be an active RP. People who don't post can really bring the place down. However, I am aware that people have schedules and have times that they can not post. I'm okay with that, we all have a life away from gaia, just try to inform us if you won't be able to post for a while.
2) Keep things PG13.
3) No powergaming or godmoding. Take a hit every once in a while. We are new trainers, we can't all be invincible.
4) This is a paragraph RP. Try and keep posts 3 or 4 sentences in length. I'm understanding if you have writers block though, or other people don't give you much to work with.
5) Each person must start with one pokemon that is at its first stage. You can either have a starter pokemon from the Kanto region, or an egg pokemon. PM me if you would like another pokemon and I will approve it if its okay.
6) No capturing legendary pokemon. They are legendary, that should explain it all. I would much rather utilized their legends for the story line than have a trainer raise it.
7) You can start from any city at Kanto, not everyone has to start at Pallet Town.
8] When in Kanto, you may only catch Kanto pokemon, unless another trainer releases that pokemon and you catch it.
9) Have fun with this.

There are 8 gym leaders in the region of Kanto. Once you obtain all 8 gym badges, you may enter what is known as the Indigo League. A large battling tournament where trainers test their strength against each other.

At any point in the game, you may control any character, as long as it isn't someone else's character. For example, you may play as Professor Oak, Gym Leaders, Contest Judges, ect. Just as long as there isn't a profile posted for that character, you may control them to move on with your adventure.

However, Jake's dad died two months before Jake's birthday and the death of his father had caused Jake to change his mind about starting his journey so early. Trainer Name: Robert Lewiet Gender: Male Home Town: Oldale, Hoenn Trainer ID: 76077 Profession: Pokemon Trainer Age: 16 Trainer Bio: Robert is the grandson of Agatha. Although he was raised in Hoenn, he makes yearly visits to Kanto to visit his grandmother. Now he is finally ready to start his pokemon journey. On his boat ride to Vermillion City, Robert looked up at the sky caught a glimpse of a red and white pokemon that seems to have captivated him. He seeks to become become an Elite like his grandmother, but now he also seeks to find and meet the beautiful unknown pokemon he had briefly glimpsed on his way to Kanto. Personallity: Robert is calm and collective. He's a bit mysterious at times, and he is very VERY blunt about things. It's a bit hard for him to open up to someone, but he's the best and most loyal friend one can have once he does. Robert takes battles seriously and give no quarter, and in turn, asks for none. However, he cares deeply for all pokemon and would even endure physical pain or risk his life to protect his pokemon or his human friends.

Just to avoid conflicts, I should state that King Robert's Ralts was approved by me. That rule is mainly there so people don't use mini-legendaries (for example: gible) as their first pokemon.

He is the son of one of the officer Jenny's in Vermilion City and as such as grown up around pokemon, so he knows what it takes to care for as raise one. Personallity: a happy go lucky kind of kid, he is always trying to make jokes and lighten people's moods. He loves traveling with people and looks forward to making new friends on his journey. Trainer Name: Kira Silverston Gender: Male Home Town: Varidian City Trainer ID: 66459 Profession: Trainer/Team Rocket Age: 16 Trainer Bio: Kira was the son of a very wealthy inventor. Anything he wanted, he got. But nothing was ever enough for the child. He loved pokemon battles, but he would always belittle people who lost. He also never showed any compassion towards his own pokemon. When he came of age, Kira set out to become the strongest trainer and crush everyone else under his heel. After losing to Lewiet and Ash at Mount Moon, Kira joins the ranks of Team Rocket in order to find and steal powerful pokemon, as well as seek revenge on Robert Lewiet. Profession: Cooridinator/Trainer.
Age: 16.
Trainer Bio: She loved living at Cinnabar Island where she caught her first Pokemon, an Eevee. Once she told the Gym Leader, she asked if he could teach her how to Pokemon battle. About a year later, Wolfina finnaly knew what to do when in a battle. She thanked the Gym Leader, and left for Viridan City.
Personallity: Shy, but once she knows someone, she is somewhat talkitive. She treats her Eevee like her own sister.
