Recently Gaia has had problems with vigilante justice. After the passing of the "Masks off" act that made the vigilante justice illegal, most of the vigilantes hung up the mask and cape. But a few aquired bounty hunting licenses or simply didn't care. So it continued and still does today...
...One night bounty hunter Hunter Roge was tracking a criminal through the alleys of Durem. A cloaked figure decended on his prey. He knocked him out and then looked up to Hunter.
"Ah so your one of thoose bounty hunters." It said
"And your one of thoose cloaked crime fighters. Let me see your bounty hunter's lisence or I'll before force to bring you in. I know you mean well but leave it to profressionals." Hunter responded.
"Sorry but that's not going to happen."
"Very well so be it, I could use the extra money right now anyways."
The Vigilante dropped a smoke bomb, filling the alley way with smoke.
"Dammit" Hunter shouted.
Hunter closed his eyes and listened. He heard the cloaked figure scutter away to the far side of the alley. He persued but soon lost track.
"Slippery Little Bugger. Got away with the bounty too, hmmmm..." Hunter muttered.
This would not be the last time Vigilante Justice would be served. Infact the return a villian would prove to bring the masked watchmen back from the shadows...

A few rules of play -PCs start with 3 HD and 3 stars of equipment. and your charm x 5 of gold -There are three groups of alligence beyond Good, Evil, And Neutral in this campaign. When posting your character state weither your Character is working for the police, a bounty hunter, or a vigilante. Please note that there may be some PVP action in this campaign. -Follow item slot rules presented in HR's Big Book o' GM resources. -Spell casters (characters with a 4 or more in Special) Get to start with one free spell prepared. -If a PC is knocked down to 0 HP or less you are incarcerated and cannot take any actions untill healed with a potion or healing spell. Characters must finish off a PC with a Coup de Grace -Obvously follow the TOS and Guild rules -Have fun Characters: Police: Xeo:  HP: 28 Gold: 15 Items: Acient Katana ( 5) Spells: N/A Bounty Hunters: Hunter roge:  HP: 17 (HD 3) Items: Twin pistols ( 39), Hunter's Dagger ( 47) Gold: 15 Spells: N/A Zero the Hunter:  HP: 31 Items: Spear of the soul eater ( 77), Mind's Tyranny ( 89) Gold: 5 Vigilante: Ganturo Ginokun  HP: 24 Gold: 25 Items: Sage's Robe ( 117) Spells: Mage Armor

((My only confusion is why are the only three choices a form of authority? Rebels without lead, Rebels following their own path, and those following the restrictions from higher ups. Whattabout Civilians? That reserved for NPC?))

((Well guess I'll just start with something non-commitical.))
Zeo sat behind a desk at Police HQ enjoying a sugar-coated donought and a cup of chai. Looking out the window at the pouring rain he smirked privately and thought, Heh, I just love hacking into the system and giving myself desk duty when the weathers like this. Looking back at the computer infront of him he continued scrolling down the list of bounties to see if there where any interesting ones.

((Yeah, Since HR's not starting we might as well...))
Gan sat outside. It had been days since the last time she remembered where she was, ever since the crime rate increased she was marked because she never followed the habits most people had. She never had a Job or even legally owned anything, she just went through towns to the best of her ability tricking fools into getting her what she needed. It was a different story now however, with bounty hunters moving about Gan couldn't stay anywhere for more then a day without becoming paranoid. The only inconvenience Gan found was the rain. She tried her best to keep dry by staying close under a tree....... it helped. Gan had a small book of her's out, she rarely had time to do this these days but she found enough peace in the rain to try and concentrate. 'So much easier to cast then to prepare...' Gan focused on what was written in her book so she could be ready for anything thrown at her.

((Sorry guys been a little distracted the past couple days))
Hunter was walking through the rain. He had his trench coat buttoned up and his fedora kept the rain out of his eyes though not much was too be seen in this weather.
Hunter had been a bounty hunter for quite some time pretty much since he made it out of college.
((There are the three factions of protagonists which was one of your three choices. Civilians just happen to be caught in the middle. and the anatagonists the villians. A little bit more choice in the matter then just all being in one party. A choose your own path if you would.))
Hunter walked under an awning from into a general store. More to get out of the rain for awhile then to buy anything he walked over to a pop cooler, and grabbed a drink. He went to the counter and payed for it.
"mind if I stand in here awhile? That rains pretty bad and I'm still a decent hike from my house." Hunter asked.
"No go ahead sir I've been kinda lonely in here anyways." said the store clerk.
"Thanks." Hunter responded.

Zeo stopped as a bounty caught his eye. Wow that's a big one, he thought.
((I'm kinda stuck as how to start, can you maybe give us a starting bounty so we can go catch him?))

((Since it seems so far that Time is irrevalent can I attempt to prepare again?))
Gan failed the first time so she tried again on a more, easier spell. Taking her time with figuring it out. ((Two hours since time seems unknown))
