So, having regained my summer at last, I have been on the whole "stay up late, sleep in" schedule. Happens every summer.
The amount of time stayed up extends and extends until you realize the only way to fix it is to stay up past it and go to bed on time.
But how do you decide when to fix it?
And how do you make sure it works?
xD;

Lots of candy and energy drinks biggrin

I NEVER decide when to fix it. I just stay up until I have to get up early. THAT WAY! I just stay up all day, and night, and then all day again. And then I get home and just SLEEEEEEEP! blaugh
And the next night, if it happens to happen again. I just keep doing it until my body fixes itself. 3nodding

I only end up fixing it when I have to go to school the next day. Then I try and go to sleep as if I was a good, on-time-sleeping person, and while I sit there for hours before actually falling asleep, the next day everything is pretty much fixed!

Sometime soon, I'm going to have to fix mine. What I usually do is force myself to wake up at a ridiculous hour even if I went to bed late. Then I'll be miserable, tired, and cranky ALL day. Then I'll go to bed -early-. Wake up at the time I NEED TO for school this year. Then I'll keep doing that.

._. Its not my choice when I fix it. My dad will tell me about 2 weeks before the end of summer that I need to start going to bed early again. How frustrating that can be. And it all usually gets screwed up the night before school starts, because I can't sleep. Last time I stayed up till 3am just wondering why I couldn't get to sleep. I hope I can actually sleep this year, otherwise I may have to purposefully take medication to sleep. ._.

Trust me, Hirun, that "slightly drowsy" is the only reason I was able to get up 8:30am for work today. xd It's fun too, staggering around with your brain partially shut down until you crash somewhere horizontal.
It might just affect me particularly strongly, but sometimes I'll purposefully have an allergic reaction so I can take the allergy medicine and fall asleep.

I hate the taste of Benedryl. I had to have it due to allergies and crap like that. @-@ I think I'd just prefer that mom pick me up some meds, because I've been known to stay up late without wanting to.

For something that comes up the next day that I have to get up early for, I just mildly OD on Benedryl. For like school and the like for about a week before hand I try and go to bed an hour earlier each night, until I am to the point where I can go to bed fairly easy at midnight.

Hmm... when the rents tell me to go to bed, I sneak my laptop around midnight since I can't sleep. Even though I just get about four-five hours of sleep, I feel fine during school... though that's just me. biggrin

you love me... If you overdose on medication like Advil it makes you feel really sleepy. But it's dangerous to fall asleep then because you could slip into a coma and die. DD: I had four hours of sleep last night because I was txting my boyfriend all night. My sister is really mad because my phone kept going off and shes a really light sleeper. xDD

You have to take about 2 bottles of advil to die. xD You're just fine if you take 2-3 more than usual. I mean if you do it a lot you'll build up a tolerance but once or twice is like w/e.
