Slowly, drawn out as though a serene, idle serenade, a low voice practiced a quiet melody; something this figure never did in any public place, but in his own company?
"I heard there was a secret chord... That David played, and it pleased the Lord... But you don't really care for music, do you?
It goes like this: the fourth, the fifth; The minor fall and the major lift; The baffeled king composes, Hallelujah..."
His low baritone made the lyrics and the low melody shine, and the sad song only seemed too fitting to his character. Abashed by the thought of being caught, however, his voice was eerily quiet.

"Wow if that isn't a depressing song," A teen dog mused while listening from a near by doorway. Erian normally wouldn't say much of anything to someone he never even met before, but the song caught his attention in more ways then one. "I like it."
A small smirk came across his face while kneeling down, "Did you write it?"

As he heard the voice of another person lingering, he silenced himself immediately, freezing as his ears swiveled back to understand what it was. He turned back his glaring white eyes, but saw nothing until he scanned one more time.
Hm... his markings were certainly interesting. "No... I didn't. A man named Jeff Buckley did..." he explained. "As far as I know."

"Oh, I see." Erian said again as he plopped himself down in the middle of the doorway. "I know some pretty depressing material from other artists, it may be depressing and sad to normal people but to me it makes me happy knowing my life isn't as blah as their's is."
He shrugged his shoulders, finally realizing why his dad thought he was weird. "I'm Erian."

Pausing cautiously, not sure where the other was coming from but certainly impressed with his fur patternings, in any sense, the English wolf's white eyes looked straight upon the other male with poise and curiosity. "So what does that make you? Some bloody kid who whines too much and has morbid macabre blood fetishes?"
Though articulate, there was a plain Greenwich accent to his dark voice, and it was drawing, in a sense. He was a peculiar one, but he said what he wanted to without fear--and that was honorable enough, in itself.

"Morbid and emo yes, and not to mention a smart a**." He laughed slightly while crossing his arms across his chest, wondering why the fox looking creature was staring at him....was Erain that pretty? Or what was it that seduced the man, his complete emo-tasticness?
"Ugh why are you staring at me if you don't mind me asking."

A surprisingly jovial laugh escaped the wolf's throat at that; slightly chittering, in a sense, as was unique to his character.
"Good--I like those types," he purred, a debonair smirk crossing his sly expression. At the other's following question, however, he laughed it off. "I don't mind you asking--in fact, I'll say it right-out--your fur patterning is utterly orgasmic."

"Well I never got that before, thank you?" Erian began with a laugh at the wolf's words. "It comes from both my parents and my grandfather Tycho." He nodded, his arms still crossed over his chest. Now getting used to turning peoples eyes on with just his fur pattern, it wasn't that great was it?

Another rather eerily fond laugh escaped him, then. "Really... you're barking right up my tree, you beautiful boy..." he purred further, reaching out a hand to gently caress the other's jaw. "No matter your lineage--mine was disgusting, and I turned out well."

"Well if it helps any, one of my grandfathers is a vampire...and I'm pretty sure my father is." Erian responded while taking a sharp breath in, not used to being touched in anyway, especially with what seemed like gentleness.
"Thank you again...ohh disgusting? How so?"

A slight chortle left him once more. "A vampire, you say...? I've known a few in my lifetime--and they're not terribly interesting, but they make up for it in looks." He seemed to pause when the other reacted, quirking a lithe white brow.
"My father left my family for dead, and my mother was stricken with a heavy case of dementia at an early age. My eldest brother died, and I wish the rest of my siblings had, sooner." He ended this in a bit of a snarl, but quickly calmed. "Does that explain the situation for you?"
Suddenly, a thought came to his mind. "Oh... and I'm sure you might like this... just a little more, if I'm not mistaken," he ended on a faint breath, curling his nails inward along the other's cheek and grasping much more tightly.

Erian took in a deep breath as he enjoyed the company of this strange man, finding everything about him so interesting and new. His stories were of those he had never heard before from anyone along with his words, it was so foreign to his mind and ears that he didn't know what to think at first. "The grandfather that is a vampire is very interesting, I have to say that it's never a dull moment around him."
"I'm not used to being touched at all, I normally leave my room when everyone is asleep but in a way it does feel better." He said with a crooked smile, learning more about his new friends past. "I'm usually very anti-social but I heard the song you were singing so I became curious and adventured out of my room."

"Hm. So perhaps it's not so much a stereotype... as simply people I've met," he said rather callously, shrugging away the subject. "But they're rather masterful in the sheets... if you can manage to seduce one."
He began to laugh a little bitterly, ending in a similarly crooked smile. "When you've lived three-hundred seventy-six years... it's hard not to have been touched--or to know how," he said in a somewhat slimy demure. "People are... only too willing to share a night and no more. It's a shame more can't stick around afterwards... but que sera, sera."

"Well my grandpa does have eleven children so that lives up to what you expect I guess," Erian simply just gave a sigh at the wolfs words, finding it to be rather sad...even for him, someone who normally found enjoyment in the depressing thought of others. "My grandfather is really funny though, maybe someday you would like to meet him? I bet he could put a smile on your face, even for just a second."
"Whatever will be will be, right?" He mused again as his paw moved up and cupped the hand of his newly found friend, already secretly wanting that feeling to stay a little longer. "Maybe though people you meet down the road from now may want to stay more then a night or more then a week, maybe they want to stay as long as they possibly can but in the end it's impossible? I don't know and I'm probably just babbling and thinking aloud but it's not entirely impossible...is it?"

The wolf quietly mustered a bit of a laugh at the boy's comments toward his relatives. "Well, that's one truth I've discovered on my own--so it must be worth something," he said with masterful confidence. "Hm. I'm not the humorous type by any means... but don't think I'm immune to it. I can laugh--I simply don't find many things funny."
He seemed to be rather enticed by the other's touch, moving in closer and lingering a very slight distance from his calico face. "Perhaps... that may be the case..." he said softly. "But when they say to your face that that's all they want... it doesn't help with one's self-esteem." He moved in from there once more, gently touching his lips to the boy's. "It's not impossible, however."
