Yeah. I don't even know if I get the Hall of Fame game on TV, but I'm pretty excited that the games officially begin. Preseason is decent to watch but not all that important. Teams and fans just hope their players stay healthy and don't get injured.

i was excited. I went to the game awesome seats ( right on the 35 yd line). Its was great...untill half tiem. My dad and i decided to leave. I caught the rest of the game on TV, Colt looked great. Jason Taylor looked really happy and was telling jokes on the sidelines (he didnt play, no pads) It was a great way to start off the NFL season tho.
Yes i live in ohio ppl haha.

Lucky that you got to go to that game, to get the season's first bit of action. I don't know about everyone else, but what I saw the most was a pretty solid rushing attack by both teams (especially the Redskins). ...That was one of the better Hall of Fame games I've seen.

Jason Taylor did look happy. ( He play for my high school way back when )
Anyhow I'm pretty happy happy with the Steelers. Charlie Batch seems like his collar bone is broken. Thats the word. Ben Roethisberget played awesome for that one series. If they guard him like they did today. Play like they did, Steelers will be fine. Too bad it's only pre-season so far!

Well as the announcers for the Vikings game said, "It only matters for the players on the field, not those of us at home". But I am happy that football comes back in some forum, I even started watching the CFL (Canadian Football League)

Well...the much anticipated Aaron Rodgers debut starts tonight, when the Packers host the Bengals in the preseason. All eyes will be on Rodgers, moving on from the Brett Favre saga. The game being in Green Bay adds more pressure.

Kingthor2282 Well the few minuets I saw he looked good (Rodgers). Yeah, Rodgers looked solid in his starting opener. Poised in the pocket, and made good decisions. Surprisingly, the fans seemed to be supporting him and backing the Packers' move. Now we just have to wait and see what Favre does for the Jets in his opener.

favre needs to retire.....but what would the NFL be w/out him....he's been there forever....I don't think he's the oldest playing quarterback in the league....unless Testaverde retired(again).

Testeverde will probably return to a team, with an injured QB, needing him for a week or so. Then he can extend his seasons with a TD pass to like 22 years, a record he already owns. The NFL would be something without Favre, but I'd rather him a Packer or retired than with the Jets.

The panthers played tampa and they let him have the last snap to end the game (he took a knee). I beleive he is offically retired.

Well that's what he said after the Jets, but he returned a few times. I don't think he'll be back, but I wouldn't be surprised if some team offers him a deal in midseason to be a veteran mentor to their young QBs, or if a starter gets injured.
