IN CASE YOU MISSED IT...
While there was no offical Zelda news at the Electronic Entertainment Expo, in a personal interview Shigeru Miyamoto made a statement that suggests a new Zelda (and maybe a DS Zelda, too) are in the works!!
to quote him:
“The Zelda team in particular always works on Zelda titles. The core members of the Zelda team have for a very long time now been focused on Zelda games, and continue to focus on Zelda games, so they are hard at work and working away. And then, of course, we have the DS Zelda team as well, so even there we’re having some switching of people in and out where the DS team is mixing in with the Wii team and working on the Wii version.”
... so there you have it!!!

To be honest, I think that if any real details come out about a Zelda game, it'll most likely be at the TGS.

Diva the singing queen crying crying I want Midna back, she was a cool character. Anyway I'm hoping to hear more news about this new game that's currently in the making right now. please let it be for gamecube!!!! midna was cool, but since the curse was lifted it wouldnt be as much fun

If they make another DS Zelda, please make it like the old school handhelds. I wasn't a huge fan of the way Phantom Hourglass was done. They could implement the touch screen in other ways.
