Nadezhda ran around, his wings dangling behind him and clipping the grass. He turned and flapped them, not being able to fly but enough to cool him off with a small, created breeze. He looked up to the partially cloudy sky and sighed. He wondered what it'd be like to fly.

Aderyn had been away from her family too much lately, way too much really! She'd hardly gotten to see them and thanks to that, poor Nadezhda still had no idea how to use his beautiful wings. Nazzy was her only child that had wings like she did, and that meant he had no one to work with! She felt horrible for ignoring him, but today was finally the day she'd make up for that.
She was flying just above the ground when she finally caught up with the little scamp. She touched down on the ground and trotted over to him. Her wings flared proudly behind her and she smiled.
"Ready to fly Nazzy?" Aderyn asked, bending down to nuzzle her child. Wow, she really had missed a lot. Her kids were already Teens now, but Kukki seemed to be doing a wonderful job!

Nadezhda watched his mom land and his tail wagged furiously behind him. He beamed as she came over and jumped up with his wings randomly flapping. "Are you gonna teach me mommy?" he excitedly asked.

Aderyn smiled, and laughed lightly at Nadezhda's perky personality. She had been excited when her kids basically all took on Kukki's personality, and she was starting to act a bit silly as well. She used to be the perfect picture of calm, until she met Kukki.
Now, she was dealing with her own family and helping others, how crazy was her life? Very.
"Of course Nazzy! Who else would teach you? I'm sure you'll love it!" Aderyn spread out her wings and embers rained down on them. "You'll also find it very beautiful with you wings." She laughed lightly at his random flapping. "But you can't just randomly flap your wings and expect to fly!" She said, still laughing as he hopped up and down.

Nadezhda stopped hopping and looked back at his wings. "I can't?" He asked as he returned his gaze to his mom, slightly confused. He had always thought that flying was just random flapping, and if you were strong enough then you'd fly.

"Well.." Aderyn began, tilting her head lightly to think. She really couldn't remember having to learn to fly, of course that only showed her age. She sighed and then put a smile on her face. "It does involve a lot of wing flapping, but it just can be spazzy little flaps! You have to put strength behind each push, and you'll really only have to flap them once ever...let's say half a minute? No need to count though!" She said, laughing lightly.
"Now! The first steps is getting off the ground! A running start is usually required. And then, it should take a few flaps, feel yourself being lifted from the ground and then jump, pushing you wings in slow, hard, movements to put yourself in the air, then let instincts take over!" She said, explaining as best as she could. She'd understand it he were slightly confused, she wasn't the best at explaining things.

Nadezhda smiled. "I only have to flap a little? Cause flappign alot it hard work." He looked around, finding his own little runway. "So I just run, flp, and jump, right?" he asked as he ran over there.

"Would it be easier if I show you first?" Aderyn asked, taking a few steps back. She spread out her flaring wing and looked up at the sky. Perfect weather for Flying lessons. She danced forward a few steps and then pushed of the ground at the same time as she pushed back her wings. The winds pushed back the grass where she had just been standing moments before and she flapped her wings until she was a few feet in the air.
"Your turn Nazzy! It's really not hard! I'll be here if you need me! Promise!" She said, smiling down at her little teen. Boy, she'd missed way to much of his young life!

"Ok mommie! Here I come!" he said as he began torun forward. He flapped his wngs together and pelt the ground growing softer. He jumped and pushed, hovering a foot or so above the ground. "Look mommie, look!" he exitedly yelled as he looked up at her.

"Wonderful Nazzy!" Aderyn smiled down at her little teenager. He was so full of energy, she was surprised he hadn't shot into the air like a rocket! "Now! Just push a little harder and let the wind carry you around! You'll know when you need to flap your wings or not!" Aderyn flew a little lower, but continue to hover above Nazzy.

Nadezhda did what she said and pushed his wings down more, and soon he could feel the air currents. He tilted his wings and let the currents take him up. Soon he was above his mom, and he smiled down at her with pride.

Aderyn flipped herself upside down in the air to watch Nazzy fly above her. She smirked up at him and rolled her eyes like any other mother would when their child was teasing them. "Would you like to fly longer, or learn how to land?" She asked, rolling over in the air and flying up toward him.

Nadezhda looked with curiosity as his mother rolled in the air, and he attempted to do the same. He ended up dropping five or so feet before catching himself. He hesitantly laughed after it, and stuck his tongue out at him mom in a playful way.

Aderyn was close to entering that freaky/always alert/over motherly Mom mode, when Nazzy dropped in the air. She was terrified that he wouldn't be able to pull himself back together. However, it only took him a few seconds to straighten out again.
She smoothed out her anxious expression ad smiled up at her playful son. "Maybe we should hold off on tricks for a while? I'd rather not spazz twice in one day please!" She said, however she did applaud his little mood, but still made it clear that once as enough for now.

Nadezhda laughed and nodded. "Ok mom! I wont do any more tricks, but look at this!" he said as he spun in a small circle before his fire mohawk began to vibrate and move. He closed his eyes and took in a deep breath, before opening them to do a small ember attack in the air. He looked at Aderyn and smiled.
