That is a pretty shnifty clock. It looks like one my brother has, only I'm sure yours actually works. I have to ask, because I'm curious, is that gold part plastic or metal?

Sadly its only a replica it runs on an AA and a C for the spinners. Its was worth the money though.

Ah, my grandparents have one of those, a real old one of course, nicely still working (though not really sure how old it is exactly). For those interested but unawares, the 'spinner' is basically a flywheel; and alternative to a pendulum for keeping it on time.

Hmmm, only an imitation you say?
Methinks it's time for some modding!

My, what a dusty old thread! XD Well, no matter; since it is here I might as well post in it. In most forums I frequent, necromancy (bringing up a dead/old thread) is severely frowned upon, but I don't know how it's viewed here. I suppose since no one's yelled (yet), it is fine. My mum has a clock exactly like that in the den, on the mantel. I shall have to acquire it from her somehow. If not, I'll just go searching, as I think I know a shop here that has some. (^_Q) I really love clocks (and pocketwatches).
