I've read the first three books in the series. My favorite out of those would be Anne of the Island.

I've read them all, and I love them. My favorite is the first, though, Anne of Green Gables. The other night, I thought of something Anne said. I paraphrase: "But haven't you noticed, Marilla, that after I've made a mistake, I never make the same mistake again? There simply must be a limit to the number of mistakes one can make in one's life!"
Reading this thread makes me want to go read the book again.

Perhaps I shall return to them after I read the dozens of others that I also want to read now.

I've never finished the series either. I've only read the first... uh... two I think. I really don't remember the second one, but I LOVE the first one! She's so funny and SO imaginative! I think imagination is such a beautiful thing and so many people lose it too fast!

I have not read the series, but my grandmother taped every episode on PSB, and then she decided to give us all gazillion million tapes. I did not enjoy them very m,uch, but my sister liked them.

I liked them, and have read the whole series. I have to say though, I liked Anne of Green Gables the most. I don't know why (and I don't remember either, I haven't read these for some time), I just do.
