My job is like the first 2-4 hours work work work. Then 2-4 hours of almost no work = surfing online and reading a book and occasionally answering the phone, and then the last 2 hours are just about no work at all. So more surfing and reading and answering the ever lessening calls. Apart from some idiot who always decides to phone 1 minute before closing time. D:

i quit my job. i was telemarketing and it sucked and i always talked to assholes and the script was so simple that my mind was basically non-functioning for 8 hours and the pressure to sell was too high and i was told i was being too nice and that that was losing me sales. i figured if being nice was discouraged, i should probably get out of the industry

MegaTherion777 i quit my job. i was telemarketing and it sucked and i always talked to assholes and the script was so simple that my mind was basically non-functioning for 8 hours and the pressure to sell was too high and i was told i was being too nice and that that was losing me sales. i figured if being nice was discouraged, i should probably get out of the industry That makes me think of agressive negotiations. Lol, Star Wars.
