Whisper galloped up on the hill facing the home of the herd. Snorting, she arched her neck and trotted in place for a few seconds and then cantered down the hill towards a gray draft mare. "Hello! my name is Whisper. what's your name?" Whisper nickered to the mare. Whisper stood sinlently, waiting for the mare to reply.

Molly trotted open into the grassland restless. She snorted and whinnied as she pranced. Her foal was about to be born any day now, and Molly had become more restless by the minute. She lied down laying her head on the grass. She snorted softly and when she felt the foal kick she whinnied im pain and shot her head up to her stomach and nipped gently at it. She turned to look at the arabian who had just avrived. "Hi. I'm Molly." Molly nickered softly. She looked at the new mare.

"oh, ok........" Whisper gazed about the valley, then droping her head to graze next to Molly. Knowing that Molly would need help, Whisper stood guard over Molly. ""Ugh, it bothers me that there is no stallion here"" though Whisper. Running her nose over the mare's belly, Whisper assessed the situitation immeditly. "there is no stallion to protect you while you are giving birth, so i'm going to guard from ant preditors. ok?" Whisper said to Molly, know the mare was in too much pain to answer her.

Molly nodded. She whinnied in pain and rolled over to her side breathing heavly. Her ears flicked back and forth listing to everything around her. A couple of seconds later 2 litte hooves came out followed by 2 others then a head. The foal was soon out. It was a black colt. Molly whinnied and brought her head up to clean her colt. She licked all the blood off of him with her large pink tounge making sure all the blood was off so to preadators wouldn't find him. Once he was clean she nudged the foal and unfolded her legs and got back up. The colt stuggled to stand but with a couple of tries he got up and trotted over to his dam tripping at his steps. He fell down and whinnied weakly before he got back up and trotted back to his dam doing much better. He walked between her legs searching for the milk bag. Once he found it he pulled on the n****e wich sent Molly tossing her head. The colt started to nurse as he dam started to graze.

"Congrats" Whisper said as she watched the little black foal being born and nursing. "He is wonderful. have you thought of a name yet? well, if i was you, i would name him Navajo, but that's my opinion, not yours, i mean, you're his dam, so....you should name him!!" Whisper said as she watched Molly and her new foal. Making sure that eveything is alright, Whisper started to graze contently, know that Molly and Little Navajo ((that's what Whisper is calling him)), are safe.

"Thank you. Humm i love your name but i think I'll call him Flash." Molly snorted softly nuzzling Flash as he nursed. Flash whinnied to his mother. Molly smiled and went back to grazing.

Dark Night crested the hill. Dark Night looked down the hill, the breeze making his black tail and mane float, he saw to mares, and one colt. Shireking like a Stallion in Battle, Dark Night reared and plunged down the hill, in a full gallop. Once in the valley, Dark Night started to round up the mares and the colt. He knew that he had to tell them, that he was in control now, that he is their lead stallion. "All right everyone, i'm lead stallion of this herd, and no one will try to run away right?" said Dark Night, trying to sound serious and threataning, but was over come with the giggles. "Sorry, forgive me, not a good start. What i mean that i'm here to like, stay and be the lead stallion of this herd, so you wouldn't have so helpless....."
Whisper pricked her ears towards Dark Night. "hi, my name is Whisper, and this is Molly and her new colt, Flash" Whisper said, her eyes locked into his.
"Cool" Dark Night found his eyes drawn onto the beauty of Whisper, then up to her eyes, which where locked on to his, and he cou;dn't help it, but his eyes where also locked to hers. "Um, forgive me if i'm bold, but would you Whisper, be my Lead mare? and also, my name is Dark Night."
"Sure, Dark Night!!" said Whisper as she joined him. Whisper looked at Molly and ran over to her for one thing: "you don't need to be afraid know, you and Flash are going to be ok." ((fine then, Flash it is then...)) whispered Whisper into Molly's ear before trotting back to Dark Night.

Molly didn't like Dark Night but she was fond of Whisper. She snorted angerily at Dark Night. She was more older then him and was more wiser then him. He had no clue of what he was doing just rounding mares up like this. She slowly pinned her ears back and bared her teeth at Dark Night as she stood tall and proud over Black Star. Black Star poked his head out from Molly but was scared of this new stallion. The tall grass nearly covered Black Star. She refussed to go anywhere near Dark Night.

Arina cantered up the hill. When she got to the top, she looked down and saw a stallion, some mares, and a foal down in the clearing. She released a whinny to let them know of her arrival and cantered down the hill to introduce herself.

Dark Night trotted up to Arina "hello, i'm Black Star, welcome to the herd" He was more easy going now that he established him self the lead, cuz every herd neads a lead stallion, and he was the only Stallion here, so he was the lead. Dark Night came up Molly, aware of the sharp teeth. Pulling himself up to his full height, and addressed her quietly:" i'm sorryt for coming up on you so hard. it's just that i just got kicked out the herd i used to belong to, and i need to find another herd quike ((sp?)) and saw that your herd was small and needed a stallion, and i came and barged in. i'm still getting over the shock and homesickness...... you know it, right, Molly? Will you ever forgive me?" pleaded Dark Night. His eyes searched Molly's, and was reasy to take an older mare's bite for what he did.
