Cain sighed as he swished his tail at the annoying flies. It had been a hot summer day. Dry and discomforting. The longer he sat in the sun, the more hot and irritable her became. He looked out at the other horses, some he had met a long time ago, had out grew him and moved on. He wondered why he was so much smaller, so much...younger. He laid his head down between his legs.
He felt a slight n** on his rump, and swished his tail it. After it nipped again he looked back. It was his brother, who seemed to have a slight fire in his amethyst eyes.

 Blitz had all but come to terms with his absence of growth, growling an scowling things under his breath. He hadn't seen neither Teppy or Eve for a while, only assuming that they had already grew. Which made him think about the kalona female he had met as well, surely she was larger then him and could kill him if she really wanted to.
With drawing from the bitterness of his thoughts, he looked up to where his brother was. Indeed his eyes where full of rage at the moment however, seeing his brother there only made him realize that he too shared the pain of seeing all his friends advance before him. Trotting up a bit more calmed, blitz spoke a little irritably,
" So, what's on the agenda for today then?"

"Well, I'm not sure yet..." He pondered for a moment, "Is there something bothering you brother?" Cain could sense the irritation in Blitz's voice. He could read his brother better than any soquili. Everyone seemed to be on edge lately...
In the irony of everyone's moods, a beautiful butterfly floated by, glistening in the sun's harsh rays. Silly things like that always made Cain feel more level headed, and tranquil.

Blitz glared at the butterfly as it went by, taking time to answer. For some reason all the butterfly did was remind him of how plain he was compared to all the soquili he had met, including his family members. Shaking his head angrily the foal looked over at his little brother and sighed. He looked so much more level headed then he himself. Snorting a bit he pawed the earth below them. As soon as he had stopped the small fluttering creature seemed to stop for a small rest upon his nose.
In surprise Blitz watched it, only to have his brow make the angry expression it seemed to have been making lately, forcing him to snap at the butterfly to make it flutter away from him. Looking over at Cain his words flowed smoothly in that agitated voice of his,
" Does it not bother you? You know of which I'm referring too so don't tip toe around my question"

"Hmm well a lot of things bother me brother..." Cain sighed, his breath swaying the tall grass. "I'd assume though, that we should enjoy the prolonged childhood to the best of our abilities. Although, to be a tad honest, I would love to see my horn a couple inches longer." He giggled knowing that his comment could be taken many ways.
"And Blitz, leave the poor forest critters a lone. Even though you may be upset about it, dont take it out on them. And if it really bothers you, then ask mother, she seems to know the answer to everything." He nodded firmly.
