that's right, bitches. X3
I'm going to start a three month training session with sensei Edgar Kruyning.
I'll be an inhouse student until at least Christmas.
The Jap MA thread will have to be patient. ^^
I'm not sure how much time I'll have on my hands, so I prefer to say my goodbyes now than when it's too late. ^^

Wish me luck guys.
See you around Christmas. ^^

XD Found some time to get online.
Figured I'd post something to say I'm doing alright. ^^
Well, I'm doing good. My body's having all sorts of strange reactions to this new daily routine.
I mean, on the more calm days alone I train almost as much as I did in a week before. <<
I've seriously had some days where I was training 13-14 hours in the day. <<
I'm eating twice... maybe three times as much as I did and I'm still losing weight! XD It's fun!
I'm gonna end up all buff. << I dun like buff.
I've seriously had some moments of victory and some moments of complete devastation. ^^; It gets pretty bad at times.
I learned that victory isn't not being defeated. It's going on even if you are going to be, have been or are being defeated.
People will probably all agree with this, because it's something that sounds really acceptable.
But it's an entirely different thing to experience it. <<
Anyways. XD

Let me give you a quick recap on what's been going on.
I've been assisting the assistant teacher in teaching high school students self defense for gym class by joining them in the exercises.
I got bit by the sensei's dog. XD He had an attitude problem towards me. XP
But I fixed him. << He's my ho now.
I've been training in several disciplines that I never trained in before.
Stuff like Freestyle, Kickboxing, Grappling. Yoseikan also has a series of forms based on wado ryu karate, so that was interesting to discover too.
Now, I'm a kendoka myself, with some experience in aikibudo.
You have to realize that all this stuff I'm doing here are new for me and I'm an absolute beginner at most of it.

So, as far as training is concerned, I've been thrown, punched, kicked, locked, choked, backmounted, struck with a boken, held, squashed, flung and groinsquished.
I'm seriously bruised all over. And I now make strange, uncontrollable noises when people choke me. <<
Nevertheless I'm having fun, and I've had some victories doing to others the same things that've been done to me. ^^;
Okay, so I landed full on my head doing a judo throw. I did get a full point for it. XD
I'm learning more and more techniques, and in doing so I'm finding more solutions to problems while sparring etc.
I still can't do a decent ankle lock, though. XD
It's a pity, cause I had quite a few opportunities to do one had I known how to. ^^;

Anyways, yeah, I'm learning a lot.
And I can definitely see progress. If not in one art, then in the other. If not in the arts, then in myself.
I'm doing something a little better each day and it feels great.

Aside that, there are the chores we have to do.
The dog spends most of his time in his cage and we have to remove excrements from it every time they appear there. <<
We have to do the dishes and clean the house. Fix bicycles. Do groceries every now and then.
Walk the dog. (An unpleasant job for me to do at first) And I just finished waxing the kitchen, toilet and dining room floor.
And I'm positive that the sensei has some major French to Dutch translating for me to do. <<

Aside from that, life is good.
We're having good weather, we get to sleep a lot, the food is good, the people here are nice, my roommate isn't too bad...
And we have some real cuties at the dojo, hot damn! << XD

Yeah, well. I'm having fun. ^^
It felt good writing this somewhere.
I might come back for more if I find time. ^^
Until then or Christmas. ^^
Bye, guys!
