Well I don't like democrats or republicans, but the democrats are the better of the two still, so if i had to say any of them I'd say Jimmy Carter cause he was pretty much the most left wing president we've had.

I'm a big fan of the Clinton's. They're pretty moderate democrats, and under the Clinton administration, the US was doing very well.

I'll go with Jimmy Carter too, for his emphasis on human rights. I don't know much about many of your politicians though.

Sorry I haven't been here in forever.
Senator Tom McClintock, Reputblican from California.
He actually has principles. It's really a pretty amazing thing to watch. (I've been stuck on legislative watch for longer than I care to think about and his rants about proper procedure, ethics, and principle were a nice bright spot in the insanity)

Queen of the Radii I'll go with Jimmy Carter too, for his emphasis on human rights. I don't know much about many of your politicians though. I'm sorry but that made me laugh. He was rather selective of who was entitled to human rights and who wasn't. Although he is hardly the only US president to be guilty of terrorism. Just as USA is hardly the only country guilty of it.

As I say, I know practically nothing about US political history. I just know he set up The Carter Center after he left office which is all about promoting human rights and that he got the Nobel Peace Prize for his work through that. I don't really know what he was like when he was President though sweatdrop
