Sjajan's hands were shoved deep into her pockets, and she switched between blowing her bangs from her eyes and humming to herself. She'd come to the mall to get larger clothes and some toys, but Neme, who was supposed to be watching her, had shoved some cash into her hands and ditched her to 'hang out' with some tattooed teens. Unbothered by it, she had a happy grin on her face, and plenty people smiled at the pretty little girl as she passed, in her mind plots to cause trouble. Still, such things were more fun with a playmate.

Bah. Bored. Mignon scuffed her foot into the ground and sighed. One boring thing about shopping was that eventually you've seen everything the mall had to offer. Carrying several bags full of clothes, she had finally tapped out everything.
Scanning the crowd, her eyes landed on a pretty girl. She was small, and kind of farmilar looking, with the freckles and all. Slowly she made her way over and tapped the girl on the shoulder. "Jani?"

Sjajan spun, her large brown eyes even wider than usual with surprise. That surprise melted into pleasure, turning her large grin warm as she registered who it was.
"Mignon!"
She launched herself at the larger girl, knocking down several of her bags, and almost Mignon herself, laughter was in her voice.
"I haven' seen yah in forevah!"

Mignon exploded in laughter as the bags crashed to the floor. Luckily, there was only soft stuff in them. She hugged the smaller girl back and grinned.
"Look at you, Jani!" She squealed, delighted. "You're so big! And pretty! When'd you grow?"

Sjajan didn't think she was particularly pretty, and she didn't particularly care.
"You're still prettiest, Miggy!"
Unlike most, Jani wasn't saying it to flatter, she was being honest, like usual. Grinning, she lifted some of Mignon's bags, holding them for her and looking up at the girl with admiration shining in her eyes. She loved Mignon.
"I growed ina vortex wih Anny."

Mignon smiled and grabbed the bags. "Thanks, Jani." Ahhh, beauty. So wonderful.
"Vortex?" She tilted her head slightly. "That's interesting. Was it fun there?" Not that she knew what a vortex was, but still.

"Kinda! There was these tiny persons 'n they thought we was real importan.' Bu' they thought I was a boy! I got some shiney rocks though, an' got bigger, so s'ok."
Sjajan smiled and carried Mignon's bags over to a bench before sitting down. It was a lot easier to be useful when you got bigger!
"What 'ave yah been doin?"

"Shiny is good." Mignon agreed with a nod. "Expecially stones. 'Cause you can set them in jewlery and look real pretty."
She reached over and tousled Jani's hair a bit as she helped move the bags. "Oh, not much. My life is boring. Everyone at my house was real sick a while back, but they've stopped being sick. I've been shopping a lot, getting lots and lots of pretty clothes." She gave a slight laugh. "But you're not much for my style, I don't think."
