We won't get into which particular religious entity is aligned with CCHR but I feel it's important that a lot of Jews write a lot of angry letters to a lot of newspapers about this press release.
The Holocaust as in eliminating the unwanted parts of society to create a Master Race is not psychiatry, it's from a social philosophy called Eugenics which tries to speed up evolution by removing weaker and undesirable traits from people and society. Eugenics was devised by Sir Francis Galton, who was an explorer, anthropologist and geographer, not a psychiatrist.
What CCHR is leading towards is a man named Ernst Rudin, who was a psychiatrist who also was a eugenicist. However it was his eugenic philosophy that caused the nazis to consider racial cleansing, not his psychiatry.
This I consider to be history revisionism, trying to prove a modern medical science responsible for the deaths of nearly 6 million Jews, rather than the actual philosophy that caused it.
And just because Karadzic started his early career as a psychiatrist does not mean that was the reason he killed 7500 muslims and set up concentration camps. Correlation does not mean causality, it means coincidence. Blaming psychiatry for mass murder is like blaming tolerance towards homosexuals for the rise in the divorce rate.
