The UNSC Armengald is a Marathon-Class Cruiser, one of the few remaining in service after the long battle against the Covenant. Cruisers are usually labeled as UNSC Flagships. It, like other UNSC ships, has a Magnetic Accelerator Cannon. It is the standard main weapon of all UNSC cruisers. It uses huge magnets that condense a molten sphere of super heated ferric-tungsten projectiles, and fires it at near-light speed. The damage it inflicts it tremendous, though reloading takes quite awhile. The Armengald has several dozen Archer missle pods, loaded with a dozen or so missles each. It also carries three Shiva Nuclear-Tipped Missles, and around 40 recessed 50mm MLA Autocannons for use against single-ships. Few MLA Autocannons are placed along the ships underside, along the layline of the MAC gun as the powerful magnets usually disable the weapons. It has a full compliment of fighter craft, including Pelicans and Longswords, as well as a full contingent of Marines. The Cruiser also carries a much smaller group of Orbital Drop Shock Troopers.
