Hey I see you around the gaming forum DTJ, didn't know you lived in Washinton, right on.
Yeah I got my 3 day pass already and everything. I just gotta figure out the logistics of parking and who's riding with me and such. It will be GLORIOUS
Anybody seeing Optimus Rhyme on the 28th, the day before PAX starts?

I wanted to see MC Frontalot, but I had to be somewhere Friday night, which annoyed me -_-. However I went all three days, participated in the Starcraft tourney (lost second round, at least I'm better than half the people who joined ^_^). Didn't like the Animaguchi's enough to stick around for the rest of the performances. Really wanted to see the Mini Bosses, but had to catch a bus to Montlake where I parked.
I parked at the convention center the first day, $26!!!!from 10 - 7. Even with my friends compensating me minorly, that was insane! Next year I'm not sure how I'll be able to stay late for the bands I want to listen to, I don't wanna drive again =[.
Last year I think there were WAY less people. Last year in the exhibition room you could walk up to any demo you wanted to and start playing. There just weren't nearly as many wait times, in fact I never encountered a wait time last year, except for at night when the exhibition closed and people flooded to the PC and console freeplay areas.
I don't know how they'll handle the influx of people next year, it grows every year, I mean, wa state convention center is about as big as they can get in Seattle right?

It is, and they were using a second building too...Sakura Con's supposed to be bigger and thusly more of the trade center space in the area is used.
I got to meet MC Front Alot on saturday, he was there signing stuff biggrin got all three of his CDs, signed!
And an official PAX rock, signed too!

I whent and parking for 29 is better than a hotel room for 160$ a night. I had to pay parking this year it is a lot cheaper to drive. Last year I stayed at a Hotel wich is nice but It cost a lot. This was my 4th year going. I wish it was still in Bellevue but the last year they were there it was so packed.

From what I was told by PAX security, they aren't welcome back at the place in bellevue because people weren't responsible with the free BAWLS that was handed out and they were cleaning broken glass bottles up. Fairly quick way to get blacklisted by a convention center...
-flail pokes- Next year a couple friends and I are planning to enter the Halo 3 Grit Ball Tourney
