 Intro
Zatao, a new pokemon continent that seems to linger on the edge of the map…Humans have migrated here, as well as various pokemon types from around the globe, both wild and trained. It was thought that nothing mythical was contained within the islands’ borders; that Zatao was simply another place to train, to perform, to bond….
To sleep safely and quietly, undisturbed.
Yet, as of recent, legends from different regions have shown their faces to those who dwell on the continent.
Suicune…
Ho-oh…
Darkrai…
Shaymin...
These all-powerful pokemon, untamable in the distant past, have formed bonds with the humans; this is something that has never happened before! These particular pokemon that are rarely seen, even by the most experienced travelers! Researchers are baffled beyond a doubt at these recent events; what could have drawn these pokemon from their native homelands to a place like Zatao?
That’s when the records starting pouring into the offices of scientists and archeologists alike. Over-looking the handwritten pages, they noticed all of the data pointed towards the same thing: an extremely powerful psychic force that seemed to be resonating from deep within an abandoned mine in the western half of the island. The scientists also mentioned pokemon that were normally very mellow and uncaring whether or not humans passed through have suddenly become rather violent, driving away everyone from a certain area west of the Rinaul Mountains. Anything beyond that…only a few trainers have managed to get through the bombardment of wild pokemon. They claimed to have traveled through the abandoned mines….only to find themselves right back at the entrance of the city after they reach a certain point in the top level of the mine.
The white-coats talked among themselves about this for days on end before a conclusion was reached: If they were to investigate this power, then they had to find the source. And to find the source, they had to rely on those who bonded with pokemon the best. But to suddenly recruit trainers out of the blue like that? What if some of them tried to take whatever was hiding in the mountains for themselves?!
That’s when an older scientist spoke up: What about a fossil excavation cover-up? Even if there wasn’t any fossils there, as long as the power force was obtained it didn’t matter how much those brats complained, right? FireFoxNinetails The night-longing digging payed off when the trainers had created a decent sized hole around four feet wide and four feet long. It was just big enough for most of the pokemon and humans to fit in. Unfortunately, as the trainers all try to rush head-long with the image of sumshining rockets, some of the trainers run straight into a strong barrier. Others are able to get through, though only one or their pokemon are able to go through with them. The others are repelled by the barrier or, if they were in their pokeballs, the pokeball would be 'sealed' by a mysterious force. As the trainers tested if they could get through the barrier or not, the sound of helicopter blades approached the mines. The backup that Luna and Jen called in a few days ago via Piney's radio had finally arrived and were working on landing. The choppers had a fresh supply of food, water, and other small necessities such as blankets. Each were labeled with a large Z (for Zatao) infront of a police badge symbol. Luna stared at the choppers before remembering that the choppers were owned by the POLICE who were probably hunting down Luna and Jen for blowing up that hotel at the very start of the trip. Luna grabbed Jen's arm and rushed into the cave. Thankfully, the barrier permitted the two to leap in. Luna peaked out as the choppers landed and the pilots rushed out to check on the status of the trainers. She pulled her hat over her face so the pilots wouldn't recognize her. "Well, it looks like only a few of us are going to make it...so everyone who can't should probably hitch their way back with the choppers. We should probably release the tauros since the choppers can't take them with us. Don't worry, they can probably find their own way home. And if you can make it through this barrier thing, get in here! There's still rockets that need to be stopped, right?!" If I could not really remember what your character was doing/it wasn't interesting, then you did not qualify @-@ I'm really sorry to those of you who got cut, THERE WERE TOO MANY OF YOU ;____; )) FireFoxNinetails Inside the mines, the only light source is the small opening that the trainers created and dimly glowing red crystals. There are very few crystals left at the enterance, probably because team rocket has taken most of them. But there are a few small crystals that make it possible for the trainers to barely see the path ahead.
There are also old rail tracks, rusted by time, that run through the middle of the path the 27 trainers gathered on. But the caves were not very wide at the enterance, probably only about two trainers could fit side by side. Luna crouched down to observe a crystal. "Huh...maybe these crystals are what the scientists were talking about?" She wondered, poking the crystal. Well, it WAS red. And glowy. That certainly made it special. "But we can't waste any time observing these, let's get going! Jen, could you get Abiba to light the path ahead of us?" Duelist of Pokemon Omg.....It's.... it's..... As the trainers and their companions passed through the room where the fossil pokemon had caused a rukus, the tunnel behind LizDuck started to glow with a bright red/pink light. As the group (now back together again and all in one piece) walked down this strange tunnel, the scattered crystals along the walls and ceiling become more numerous while some were increased in size. They eventually make up the entire tunnel. Their glow was bright..warm even....
Almost like whatever was causing them to glow was a playful spirit. As they walked, whatever wounds the trainers or pokemon had recieved before (along with any exhaustion left over from digging all night) seems to fade away into oblivion. It was almost like a video game, where the final heal spot is before final boss! Cool, huh?
A loud screech of a drill pounding against something hard rips through the silence, along with shouts and curses as small versions of the noise they just heard pour from the heart of the mines!
Voices?! It had to be the Rockets! They had caught up to them!
MOVEMOVEMOVE!
When the group reaches the heart of the mines, they find all the rockets banging at, drilling at, and using explosives on the large red crystal set dead center in the middle of the large chamber. If one looks closer they see a single pokemon trapped within the red object- Wait...was that?
It couldn't be, right?! It was just a myth!
You might be thinking it's not real, but it is. Within that crystal is the most powerful pokemon to have ever lived. A deathly rare sight even for those who have lived with pokemon their entire lives. A dream made reality.
The Legendary Pokemon:
Mew.
As one gapes at this sight in awe, the harsh drilling of the Rockets interuppts the wandering minds. That's when harsh reality hits.
They want to capture Mew! They plan to abuse this gentle pokemon, using it's power for their own greedy reasons!
DON'T LET THEM! Go all out to protect the psychic pokemon! EPIC BOSS FIGHT TYME!
Send Team Rocket Blasting off again!
Feel free to attack how any way you see fit! Use pokemon, your fists, or the tools scattered around! ANYONE CAN DO THIS WHO IS IN THE MINE GROUP! You have until 10pm EST to post your response!
BE DESCRIPTIVE! YOU HAVE A LARGE AMOUNT OF TIME FOR THIS PROMPT!
PLEASE NOTE: The seals on the pokeballs have NOT been released! You have to continue using your one pokemon!

 What's a roleplay event with some pokemon capture? Well...that is what is going to be explained in this post!
How pokemon are going to appear:
The pokemon are going to appear in swarms! Which means, you guys have to be on alert! I will announce when a swarm is going to attack the caravan with a picture of the pokemon that is currently attacking. (The swarms will have a maximum of two to three pokemon each, depending on how many Micro came up with.)
Each participant is only allowed ONE pokeball for this event. However, if you fail to catch a pokemon, your pokeball will not break after one try. You will beable to re-use it until the end of the event. HOWEVER.....
If you catch a pokemon, that is the only one you may catch during the whole event! (It's to give the others a better chance for a pokemon, so no whining.) I ask though, that you remain with the roleplay until the end, please.
On to catching the pokemon! This will be done in a raffle style!
I will post the pokemon that is up for grabs; that's when you guys post this:
 POKEBALL GO!!THE CAPTURE ATTEMPT WILL NOT COUNT IF THE PICTURE OF THE POKEBALL IS NOT INCLUDED!Afterwards, I will randomize them in the order they were posted. Whoever gets chosen, gets the pokemon. To those who catch a pokemon: Please remember to send 4k to Pogeys. The pokeballs are free.

Basic Overview and How to Obtain
Berries have a very special use in this event. If you collect five normal berries or one staff berry and a normal berry, you can get an extra ticket in a swarm raffle during the RP event! Normally people only get one ticket by posting their pokeball, but with berries, you can increase your chance of winning a swarm.
Now, you're probably wondering how you get these magical berries. One way is through small minigames me and Duel will spring up on you guys during the adventure, usually near the end when the plot is finished.
You will also get one berry for every 10 RP posts you make. These berries are given out at the end of the day, so don't expect them immediately!
How to Use Berries During Swarms
During a swarm, just put "I'M USING ____ BERRIES" with the number of berries you are using inserted in the blank. MAKE SURE IT IS IN RED BOLD FONT SO WE CAN SEE IT WHILE COMPILING THE RAFFLE LIST.

Q: What are these wagon groups for?
A: Wagon groups are kinda our way of forcing you guys to socialize with other trainers. There's tons of trainer characters out there! Don't just hang out with your friends, say hi to new people too!
Q: How were the wagon groups made?
A: Randomizer
Q: Can we switch wagon groups?
A: No, unlesss you have some severe problem with a fellow wagon mate. Then you should PM either FireFoxNinetails or Duelist of Pokemon about it and we'll see if we can stick you somewhere else. We will NOT change you just so you can be with your friends.
If you really want to get away from your group, you should just say you sneaked out of your wagon or something. Or you could say you decided to ride along on your own pokemon if you own one...as long as they can keep up with the tauros's pace!
Q: Can I give away my swarm pokemon?
A: Yes, but there are special conditions. The person you give it to must be in the event and must not have their name crossed out in the participation list. Also, if you give them a pokemon, both you AND the person you give it too will have your name crossed out on the list meaning both of you cannot catch anymore pokemon throughout the event.
Q: What are the benefits of wagon groups?
A: There might be some minigames for berries for groups. You have a better chance of winning berries if you work together with your wagon group. Also, wagon groups that show the most cooperation will usually be awarded random berries.
Q: Is there any posting order?
A: Nope!
Q: I don't want to post in my wagon's posting color because I like to post all my pokemon's actions in another color!
A: TOO BAD, adapt! Deal with it! It's to make it simpler for everyone.
Q: So and so is really bothering me...what should I do?
A: PM FireFoxNinetails or Duelist of Pokemon about the situation and we'll see what we can do about it.
Q: What time does the official RP start?
A: The event starts AUGUST FIRST at 12 PM EST and the main plot for the day ends around 2 PM EST but there will still be free RP open afterwards for interactions.
BUT. On AUGUST SIXTH, RP will start and end at 2-4 PM EST because FFN has school matters to attend to ^^;

RolePlay Tips to Pull You Through
To be very honest, this RP event is going to be chaotic. There is NO posting order, so lots of actions will collide and some will be ignored. You'll just have to adapt.
After my experience with the first RP event (which only had about 45 people), I made these tips to share for everyone to try to help those who are a bit overwhelmed by the speed of the roleplay.
oNEVER stop typing/focusing if possible. IT WILL PUT YOU FAR BEHIND AND CONFUSED.
oDO NOT BACKREAD. It is a waste of time. Maybe make one post asking what's happening and then jump in once you get an answer. Or jump in and act as the confused trainer that just woke up from a nap, you'll piece together events eventually.
oDO NOT EVEN TRY TO ATTEMPT POST ORDER. It will fail you and leave you far behind. Maybe you could do it with one person, and maybe with two when we're having a calm period traveling. But during swarms and when we hit chunks of the main plot, it will not work. EVERY MAN FOR HIMSELF. If you really do want to have RPing partners, I suggest you guys have each other on some form of messenger.
oNEVER WASTE A POST WITH ONLY OOC TALK. You will regret it and be bothered while trying to submit your next post D:
oDO NOT MAKE YOUR POST SUPER LONG. I usually stick to 3-4 paragraphs. Responses should not take you more then about 5 minutes.
oBe prepared for some of your actions to be ignored. Some people don't have time to read every single post, so they might miss yours. Just try to improvise or pretend it didn't happen if possible or nag the person through messenger/OC talk.
oThere are usually "calm" areas where we will have no major events/etc. for a short period of time. Usually it will be while we're on the road or something and we get free time to just talk while traveling. I'll try to announce that there's a calm time when we run into one.
oDon't try to talk to everyone. Your character probably can't handle it. I suggest probably sticking to your wagons or RP friends.
oThe storyline update post is the best place to find what's going on. It will be updated constantly throught the event.
oIf you're trying to talk to someone from another wagon, I suggest you go "HEY *INSERT USERNAME HERE*, LOOK AT THIS POST, I'M ATTEMPTING TO TALK TO YOU 8D " in big/bold OoC font in your post. We're usually only paying attention to our own wagon colors ^^;

And now to transport some pre-event RP me and Duel were doing in another thread. This is not important to the plot so YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BOTHER READING THIS. It was just to get our muse running for the event :3 FireFoxNinetails The digital clock beside Luna's bedtable flashed 5:00 AM. Of course, neither Luna nor Jen (who shared the hotel room with her) was awake at such an ungodly hour. Well...at least Luna wasn't until she rolled over ChuChu in bed, promptly getting lightly zapped by the electric mouse. Luna jolted up into a sitting position, immediately awake.
"Chuuuu..." ChuChu replied, crawling out from under her trainer with in irritated look on her face. Her trainer was a wonderful source of warmth, but she always ended up becoming a raichu pancake in the morning. It made sleeping in her pokeball look much more appealing than before.
The trainer yawned, scooping her raichu in a sleepy hug before glancing at the alarmclock. It was now two minutes past five and way too early to be awake, but the jolt of electricity refused to let her drift off to sleep again. "Well ChuChu...you woke me up early again." She said, kicking off her blankets and getting out of bed. She deposited a half-asleep ChuChu back onto her bed to allow her pokemon a bit more rest. They were going to need it.
"Might as well wake up Jen too...lots of planning to do!" She said to herself, heading over to her roommate's side of the room.
Duelist of Pokemon Sure, Luna had an alarm clock but Jen rolled around too much in her sleep (clearly evident by the messy state of the bedsheets). That ment her pokemon preferred sleeping at least a good distance away from their trainer.
"Pika....." Stirring slightly at the light static, Abiba raised her head and blinked slowly at the other human scross the room. She yawned and pushed herself onto her hindlegs while rubbing the sleep from her eyes. What was that human doing up....it was way too early!
Jen, however, was sleeping like a rock. Light snores came from under the pillow on her face, along with strange mumbles of random stuff....something about pokemon tournements and being the master trainer? Besides, it was nice and comfy in the bed...it wasn't going to easy getting up. FireFoxNinetails "Jeeeeeeeeeeeeen?" Luna asked the sleeping trainer, hoping to get a response. She pulled off the pillow from Jen's face and yanked away Jen's blanket, depositing them on the floor of the hotel. "Waaaaake uuuuuuuuuuuuuup~" She called, poking her rival on the back.
Waiting for a response, Luna turned her attention to Abiba. "Hey there~" She said, patting the pikachu's head. She was glad she wasn't the only one awake.
Luna kneeled beside Jen's bed, her arms perched on the bed and her chin ontop of her hands. She was waiting for SOME kind of reaction...a groan or maybe even a mumble that indicated she was partially awake. Tilting her head to one side (and one hand), Luna reached out to poke Jen again with her free hand.
"Jeeeeeen" Poke.

"....Jeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeen..." Pokepokepoke. Duelist of Pokemon In response, Jen groaned and sluggishly waved a wave in the general direction of the poking before rolling over into her side. She mumbled something along the lines of: "Dun't wanna....go academy....No test today...." before grabbing and covering her head with the beds' spare pillow.
Abiba gave a happy "Chu!" at the petting. Ears twitching, she sighed and shook her head at the sight of her human. Such a silly human, she was. FireFoxNinetails Luna stood up and gave a small smile towards the sleeping Jen. It reminded her of the countless mornings she spent trying to wake up her sister who always seemed to be superglued to the bed until noon. "We need to go prepare for the trip Jen~" She said while pulling away the spare pillow and tossing it into the pile on the ground.
The trainer knew that Jen was probably not willing to get up at five AM just to help her check the inventory on the wagons and look over the route map. So, not having any better ideas, Luna cupped her hands around her mouth and closed in on Jen's ears.
"PRINCE IS RUNNING OFF WITH ABIBA!"
Duelist of Pokemon Unfortunatly for Luna, just before she had said that, a certain electric pokemon decided to enter stage right. With a burst of red light, the scarred Raichu appeared on the bed with a stretch and a loud yawn.
Blinking his own good eye at the two trainers, he bounced closer and listened as Luna spoke that single statement....
Instantanious reaction.
Fuming, the Raichu darted over to the other trainers things and started digging through her stuff, throwing aside everything else as he looked for the pokeball containing that cursed bird and his daughter.
Abiba sweatdropped and did a facepaw. "Pikachu......." Sometime she just couldn't understand her own father....
Jen, on the other hand, simply cracked open an eye halfway and tried the push away the other. "Go...go *yawn* Go away away....sleepy time now..." FireFoxNinetails "Ohcrap, AEON!" Luna said, rushing over to the raichu to stop it from messing up her belongings too much. She had spent quite some time packing and double checking her supply list and she did not want anything to be lost or thrown out the window by the furious raichu. Without a second thought, she flung Aeon at Jen just to keep him away from the bag.
While trying to quickly gather her stuff once more, she secretly hoped she had nicked Jen on the head or something with Aeon. Maybe that would wake up the heavy sleeper.
"Chuuuuuuuuuuuu?" Luna's raichu asked, unable to sleep with all the actiivty in the room. ChuChu yawned and jumped on her trainer's shounder to see what the human was doing. Duelist of Pokemon "RAICHU!"
"WAH! IDIDN'TDOITTHISTI-Wha? Aeon!?"
The rustle of leftover sheets on the bed and another yell from Aeon as he was grabbed and hung upside down by his tail. Blinking sleepy eyes at the pokemon, Jen pushed messy bangs out of her face before staring at the time on the clock.
"5:15...in the morning...Ugh...." Letting go of Aeon (this caused him to hit and bounce a few times on the matress.), the trainer stared at Luna from across the room.
"M-morning Luna....." Aeon grumbled and scampered over to where Abiba was perched, gently hugging the little Pikachu while glaring at Luna. "Um....why am I up so early again?"

Patting her re-packed bag with a satisfied grin, Luna turned around to face Jen who was finally awake. The battle veteran felt so triumphant. She had her bag repacked and her companion awake already. Now all that was left was to prepare for the start of the journey and the incoming trainers.
"Because we need to prepare the Tauros and check the wagon inventory before we're mobbed by all the people who volunteered to come~" She replied, slinging the bag over her shoulder. "So hurry up and get dressed! We only have about five hours! There's lots to do!"
The trainer punched a fist out into the air in excitement. She really couldn't wait for the adventure to begin and five hours seemed like such a long time to wait. But with all the preparations they still needed to do, she was sure it would pass in no time.

Jen gave her over-active companion a dumb-founded expression before rubbing her eyes to get the rest of the sleep out of them. How could someone be this cheerful so dang EARLY in the morning?! The sun wasn't even up yet!!
Giving out a loud yawn, Jen forced herself to stand and grab the clothing laying draped across the armchair before stumbling towards the bathroom.
"Alright...gimme about fifteen minutes then...not everyone is a morning bird like you are, Luna...."
With that said, the door slammed shut behind the exhausted trainer; just loud enough so it could have set off the people sleeping in tthe rooms around their own. Normally, Jen wasn't this grouchy...maybe she shouldn't have stayed up half the night watching movies...

"Okay then~" Luna peeped before Jen slammed the door. The trainer headed back to her bed, plopping herself down on the warm spot ChuChu had created earlier. "ChuChu, you want to get my socks and shoes for me?"
"Chu~!" The raichu jumped off her trainer's shoulder and ran towards the hotel door where Luna had her socks and shoes ready. Stuffing the socks in the shoes, ChuChu carried up the two tennis shoes above her head like a trophy and waddled her way back to her trainer who was busy braiding her hair.
The trainer, with a small mirror in hand (the same mirror she had lured Prince with several years ago), was attempting to tie her long hair into a single braid again. Just as she finished and expertly tied up the end with a small crunchy, ChuChu had placed her shoes infront of her. "Thanks ChuChu~" She said, petting the raichu on the head.
"Rai~!"
"Now to wait for Jen to come out..."

Steam started to gush from under the bathroom door after a few moments, along with goofy singing of a person enjoying the hot water. Jen sang a random song to herself (Though she was singing a bit louder than she had originally intended to); it wasn't very often she got to enjoy a hot bath (and she seriously doubted she would enjoy one on the trip) so might as well take full advantage!
While she was in the shower, Aeon and Abiba had withdrawn back into their pokeballs for a couple more hours of sleep time. But...a new pokemon decided to make it's grand appearance. As her bag slumped over on it's side, a pokeball fell out and rolled a few inches before twitching and opening in a flash of white light.
"Por?" Tan head fins twitched slightly as teal eyes took in unusual surroundings....not to mention his trainer was no where-NO WHERE IN SITE! Demyx gave the "D8" face before jumping onto bed, tail waving unhappily. He gloomed.....even though they had just met a few days ago, The vaporeon had grown attached to his new friend....
And now....SHE WAS GONE! WHAT WAS DEMYX TO DO?!

Shortly after Luna had finished all of her preparations to leave, she was filled with boredom while waiting for Jen. Why was she taking so long? Not content with staring at the wall to pass the time, Luna had a brilliant idea.
"ROCK! HA!" Luna said, putting her fist ontop of ChuChu's fingers. "I win~!"
"CHuu...?" ChuChu looked at her paw with unsatisfaction. How did she keep losing? ChuChu glared at her trainer, preparing for another round. Luna simply smirked. ChuChu would never win, not with her cheating skills!
"Okay then, rock, paper, scisso-"
"Por?"
Both Luna and ChuChu paused their game and turned their heads to observe the new pokemon. "Hey~Jen got a new pokemon!"
Luna hopped off her bed and towards the other pokemon with ChuChu on her shoulder to get a good look at the vaporeon. "Hi there!" She said cheerfully, giving the pokemon a large grin. "What's your name?"
"ChuChuuu?" The raichu poked the vaporeon's noise curiously.
