Well even though the thread has been done to death, I must say the Gibson Firebird VII. (although that's actually an epiphone model.) Although i'm very fond of the new Ibanez Art-300 in Brown Cayman finish.

^ Must I say, that is one LOVELY Firebird. Personally, an Esquire. To be more specific, a pine Esquire in butterscotch blonde with a black, 1-ply, no bevel pickguard with a reversed headstock maple/maple neck and a flipped control plate. A Joe Barden bridge with a three-saddle bridge. A Seymour Duncan Pearly Gates pick-up or a hand-made one in there too. May or may not have be double-bound. I'll decide that after I start and finish it. Basically this ('cept for the control plate and # of frets)-

I must say that i'm not really a fan of anything with jagged unnecessary edges on it for the following reasons: 1. It's more edges to ding up and damage. 2. It makes for a guitar that wouldn't appear right playing anything but metal. 3. I'm kind of a bluesy style guitarist (I know, weird right?) and they just don't really fit my "feel". But they are very cool looking if that's what you're going for. I've always felt you should let the notes do the talking, and just let the guitar help get the rest across.

Who makes that first guitar? Never seen that one before. As for the F series, I'm not a fan of any strat inspired guitar, but the one that has the natural finish in kinda cool lookin.
I would like to argue PunkRockFaces. If you let the notes do the talking why should it matter what the guitar looks like? I play alot of blues too on my Dv8R. I just don't think one should feel limited as to what they can play (or are allowed to play) on any given guitar. I like that Firebird too actually, I think Dave grohl plays one like it...

I agree with Raider83. It shouldn't matter what the guitar looks like. John 5 plays metals and shred with a Tele, Albert King plays the blues with a Flying V, as long as you're playing what you like to play. I do agree it'd look weird playing anything other than metal with that guitar, but hey, to each his or her own.

Obviously you can play anything you want on pretty much anything you want to play, but it would be like Yao Ming driving around in a Geo Metro; some things just don't match.

@PunkRockFaces It may be more to damage, but i'm not too bad with handling my guitar. My guitar right now doesn't have too many dings or scratches. Yeah, imma get it for metal if I get it. That's more of what i'm in to anyway, but I have another guitar i'm going to use for other styles too. This one would just be my metalguitar.
Well, yeah, the notes are what matter more than the look, but this is the look I like. I don't like the typical Strat look. It just seems to bland for me. And i'm not the person that will play something that looks like crap (to me, anyway). I know it sounds... shallow (?) but I just can't.
