If I had a DS, I'd definitely have this. But, until then, I'll just play the original on emulators.
From those screenshots, I'm not sure if I like what they did with it, except for the cutscenes.

Ryuna_08 why, what's wrong with it?
I'm not a fan of the way they animated it in 3d. I'd have preferred the 2d graphics like it was.

chaos.ultima.mage Ryuna_08 why, what's wrong with it? I'm not a fan of the way they animated it in 3d. I'd have preferred the 2d graphics like it was. Maybe I'm shallow, but I'd prefer almost anything to 8-bit. The 3D does look a little strange, but it worked out well in III. Of course, I'd never played III before the DS version, so unlike IV, I didn't have a frame of reference. My problem is that, from the pictures I've seen, Rydia looks awfully mature for seven.

i do like the way 3 looks ALOT better. the chibi look was much cuter n better looking. but the game is still really good.

First let me say thank you for information and pictures. I'm not so sure that I like the 3D animation but the cinematics look VERY nice. And the fact that there's voice acting is a plus. If I had a DS I would surely buy it.

If I had a DS I would surely buy it. your welcome no problem any time. ^_^ its a decent game. but ive learned to appricate each games for the good things and not focus on the bad.

I just got it! I love the new version so far. Except for the dialog, Lord Captian? They never talked like that before.
Oh well it just proves more and more that the original's the best. ^_^
