Tori wondered the shores of the beach. The sounds of the wave soothed him, even though he disliked water quite bit. His tailed moved freely across the sand, as his burning tail couldn't cause destruction around such a material. His blood eyes watched the sun setting into the water. The colored sky reminded him of the fire that attached to his tail. Giving out a sigh, he looked down onto the sand. Just growing and being on his own was new. He didn't know it'd be so lovely. He hoped he'd meet up with someone soon. Though, it was quite late, you never knew who was going to come around. Letting out another sigh, Tori looked back up at the fire colored sky. Waiting until the sun fully rested into the water before he when back to his travel.

Hearing something out of the ordinary beach surroundings, Nai curiously walks towards the edge of the cliff. She searches the shore line and to her surprise find something. Her bright, luminous turquoise eyes tries to make out this brilliant green figure... is that fire? She thinks to herself.
She swiftly climbs her way down, hiding between rocks and boulders and is cautious to not make any sounds. Nai is also grateful of the dusk sky so she can't be seen. Inching her way closer to discover the green figure, and the fire that seems to float.

Not paying much attention to anything to anything, Tori's ears began to twitch. His eyes slightly moving to the left then the right. His ears seemed to have heard something that didn't quite mix well with his surroundings. Something almost like footsteps. But without seeing anything, there was surely nothing for him to do. He just shrugged it off brought his attention back at the sunset. His tail continuing to move freely about the sand.
The thought of his parents seemed to be the only thing on his mind at the moment. I suppose leaving recently, they just seemed to linger in his thoughts. However, his brother surely didn't. His brother never really rubbed him the right way, so, he let him be. Letting out another sigh, Tori looked around once again, not seeing anything. Thinking he might be around the beach a little while, he lay down, blood eyes keeping to the sun.

Nai slowly let out her held breath after she was in the clear of being noticed. That was close, she thought. She creeps closer and closer, more stealth like, until she reached as far as she could go with out being seen.
Before Nai gets a chance to study the green creature, her attention goes to the fire. Where is the fire coming from? Her eyes widen with shock, It's tail is on fire!
Before she could think as to why the creature didn't notice this, she gets up and runs. Runs as fast as she could towards the creature and the fire, so she could put it out.

His ears slightly beginning to twitch again, he ignored it. It was probably just nothing like last time. He began to move his paw around in the sand out of boredom. Staying ways away from the actual water. Now using both of this paw, he began to pile up the sand, still paying slight attention to the sunset. Looking back and forth from each. His ears began to twitch some more, becoming more annoying.
He then went to look around, to see what it was he was possibly hearing. Looking up, he unexpectedly saw another Ulaya running towards him. Looking at her oddly, for a second, he noticed she was running at a pretty good speed towards him. He didn't recognize her from anywhere. Looking around to see if there was anyone else there, there wasn't He jumped up quickly, standing his ground to whatever it was was going to happen next.

Nai finally reaches the creature and quickly swerves to the left to reach it's tail. She grabs it and is trying to put out the fire by patting it. When she realizes her efforts are futile, she pats harder and harder in haste as to save the creature from further burning. Her frustration rises when she realizes her efforts are failing.

Tori didn't know what the female was going to do. But when she reached him, and quickly grabbed his tail. He knew what she was trying to do. It was just like all the other times he had met someone. Well, not everyone did it. But a lot of other Ulaya had tried to put out his tail. Though, she was making quite the impressive effort. Tori gave a smirk before he grabbed his tail away from the girl. Now, he didn't want his tail to go out. He didn't know what might happen to him.
He looked the female up and down. She looked different from most other Ulaya he had seen. Putting his tail behind him, he scanned her once more. Sitting down, he wondered why she might've been out here. She was surely the one he had heard lurking around. He suddenly showed a kind and friendly smile to her. She was probably quite frightened to why his tail was on fire.
"You don't have to worry dear, it doessn't hurt me." He nodded.

Completely out of breath and trying to gain back her composer, Nai stares back at him. Looking him up and down and circling him, she's intrigued by the bright green fur and piercing red eyes. She eyes the tail a couple more times and just realized his bit of "accent." For lack of a better word.
Hmmm...
Once facing him, she relaxes and sits down in the cool night sand. Letting the wind go through her long raven hair she go through her thoughts. Whenever she meets someone new she has a tendency to interrogate them and scaring them away. But not this time, Nai refuses herself to make the same mistake and carefully forms open ended questions.
Here it goes, but before she could stop herself it all floods out, like word vomit.
"Why doesn't it hurt you? Who are you? Where are you from? And why are you green?"
Crap!

He only watched her as she watched him. Though, surprisingly, he hadn't said anything charming quite yet. He would've by now at least have called her beautiful or something. I suppose he was to busy watching her, just in case she would try to put out his tail again. It was starting to get a bit old for him though. Letting his tail move freely on the sand, he waited for her to speak, with a curious look on his face.
Unexpectedly, she burst out with questions. Some he had heard before, and others he hadn't. He tried to hold in a laugh, but could. Letting out his mature laugh, he looked at he with a matching smile. He didn't think she'd ask him so many questions. All that was left to do, was answer them.
"Sssimple, I wass born with it there. My fatherss ssside is quite fond of fire." He nodded, continuing to answer her questions. "I'm Tori, I'm from here, and I was alssso born green. My motherss sside isss more sso fond of sssnakess." He let out another short laugh, before preceding to ask her any questions. "May I assk you the sssame, beautiful?"

So that's where the accent is from Nai thinks to herself as a hint of envy grows within. She smothers it immediately, ashamed of herself to even allow such feelings.
Beautiful? Pfft! Slightly giggles to herself.
"The Name is Nai."
Knowing Tori is waiting for her to answer the rest of the interrogation, she has ultimately decided to keep the rest of the information to herself. The less people involved with her the better. Plus, she's in this alone. No need to drag any one else down. Realizing how late it has become, Nai is itching to go back to her camp. Even though her own curiosity interrupted her gathering of food, there is still quite bit of food left for dinner.
"Well, nice meeting you Tori." She smiles. "I'll be seeing you around then. Later!"
Quickly jaunts her way back towards the cliff.

Nai, huh? He nodded as a 'Nice to meet you' type of response. He gave her another odd look when she decided to just run off. So, she was just going to come out of nowhere, and leave back in a hurry? She didn't even answer the rest of the questions that she had asked him. Well, wasn't that unfair. But not only that, he found it odd. "Hmmm..", he was surely not going to let her run off that easily.
"Heeey, where are you going? You didn't ansswer the resst of my quessstionss." He followed her.
I mean, if you were just going to randomly come out of nowhere like she did, should she really just leave so randomly? Tori didn't think so, which was why he was obviously following her, to find out what was up.

Nai looks back, Wow. This is new, he's really following me.
"What questions?" She jokingly asks.
Usually Nai is chasing the other creature down, asking questions or trying to be friendly. Not knowing what to do, she picks up her pace towards the rocky cliff. Instead of going up the way she came down, she's decided to take the grassy path; just in case she needed to get low and hide.

"You only ansswered one of the quesstionss you assked me. What about the ressst?"
He continued to follow her, not being very charming at the moment. Then again, when he seemed to be caught up with something, his flirtatious side seemed to just vanish. As she picked up her pace, so did he. He wasn't going to lose her that easily!
However, seeing her walk towards a grassy path, made him a bit iffy. Tall grass like that wasn't quite meant for Tori to walk in, unless he was extremely careful. He didn't want to burn it all to nothing. Then again, they were surrounded by sand. There would be less chance of him spreading a fire by sand then in a forest. He shrugged it off a bit and continued to follow her. His tail barely dragging across the sandy shore.

She suddenly stops, and looks back at Tori in his shiny red eyes. Realizing that this will probably go no where and he's not going to quit until he is satisfied. He's probably as stubborn as she is, always wanting answers.
"The truth is that there is no 'rest.' I don't know where I'm from, or who I came from."
Quite relieved that she finally got that off of her chest, she looks back at her destination.
"If you'll excuse me I have some things to take care of." She says with a smile.
Nai heads back to her camp, but not in the same speed as she was earlier. She definately was more relaxed after that confession. I guess it's not so bad to share every once in a while. She continues a few steps forward to find some fallen coconuts from nearby palm trees. She grabs one, in the mood to drink some of the coconut nectar with her dinner.

He made a complete halt when she suddenly stopped, almost giving her a cross eyed look. He didn't think she didn't know where she came from and such. He tried not to show any sad or worried faces. He didn't want to maybe make her feel bad, more so then she might've already felt. Seeing her walk away again, he didn't know if he should follow her or not. He looked around, then sat down on the sand. It would probably be a better idea if he didn't follow her again. He just shrugged it off once again, and let his blood eyes watch her be on her marry way. Letting his tail move freely once again, he let out his last words.
"Latersss?" Being left a bit confused...
(( Is it overs? XD; ))
