Taking a deep breath the red head bowed his head a moment while he sat cross legged on a matt in the Gymnasium. He was waiting for the cobra child Terpischore...to appear for his scheduled class. He recalled him in his self defense class. Brass, Rude and certianly aggresive. Beside him he had an offering to the boy's dragon. A simple but elegant silver chain with a small red jewel pendant attatched to it. If the dragon was anything like the boy he knew he would have to satisfy her in oder to gain her trust.

Closing his eyes he tried to go over his planned learning schedule for the day. Since Ter had no legs...there was no point going over pivits and stances. Though he would still instruct on the proper way to have his arms. He enjoyed working for this cooperation. It pushed his teachings to the limit.

There was a small part of Ter that wanted to protest when he learned who was going to be teaching him today. Kuyoja... the old, boring guy from that defense class. Talk about a complete waste of time... He supposed he had to give him credit, he did had been right about being able to hurt your own hands hitting someone the wrong way. Zyanya had learned that in a painful way.

He slipped into the door to the gym, glancing over at where the guy was sitting. He was silent, trying to decide upon how he was supposed to greet the guy and settled for a simple, "Good afternoon." He said, slithering forward.

Baroness wasn't nearly so hesitant. Instead she just tromped on forward into teh gym, looking at the teacher and gave him a sharp toothed grin, "Hey." She said, sitting down.

She found this guy amusing. After all he'd asked a lot of questions that the dragons in his classes answered but the guy had no idea what her or the others had been saying. On top of that he was able to drive her boy nuts with his ideals.

Needless to say that Kuyoja at least nodded his head to acknowledge the boy entrance. His eyes still closed as he exhaled after a moment and then went to get off his matt.

He had the necklace looped on his wrist, and though surprised by Baroness's size change...he assumed that this was only natural and offered the Wyvern a bow before slipping the silver necklace free and offering it to her.

"A gift of peace." He murmured, though he noticed that this time Baroness had spoken to him directly. He wondered if she had been able to do that the last time he had seen her. Allowing her to take the trinket before finally moving to focus on his student.

He wore no gi. Only pants his feet wrapped in a similar style from the last class. His numerous dragon tattoo eerily seemed to watch Ter's every move. Though it must of been a trick from the lighting.

"There are thrree sub forms of Taijitsu, taihenjutsu; which covers evasion, postures, ukemi (falling safely), and kaiten (pivoting). dakentaijutsu: striking patterns, fist formations, and conditioning. And finally jutaijutsu: throws, joint locks, pins, and throwing techniques. " He started as he had with another girls class who had taken the same thing.

"Due to your build we won't work on Kaiten, but we could certianly work on evansion postures and ukemi if you wished. " He briskly informed the teen,he looked serious as always.

"Which is it you are interested in learning?"

Baroness starred at the trinket that the man was offering her before she face alit with a rather scary version of a smile showing off lots of sharp, pointy teeth before hooking the chain on one of her spines and moved to sit down and let it dangle off of it. She laid down and shaking her head to make it shake back and forth. It would seem the item both appeased her and distracted her.

Ter shook his head before turning his attention to the teacher, wondering why the guy would walk around with his shirt off in a class that only had another guy in it. A thought came to mind and he smothered a giggle, this guy would no doubt love Ligeia...

"Hmmm... the Daikentaijutsu stuff sounds interesting, so does Jutaijutsu." He said after thinking on it, it was to bad the stuff had to have such complicated names. Made it a bit of a pain to tell the teacher what it was that he wanted to learn.

Kuyoja didn't seem too surprised that The boy choose such a technique to learn but he didn't comment on it. The boy was large enough he figured that he could be his opponent easily. He estimated though that trying to throw the snake would be more than just difficult, it could be impossible. He estimated that the snake easily weighed more than he did. And that attempting to throw him would be pointless. Though he could easily let the boy toss him...he knew how to fall safely afterall.

"We could work on throws first...and move to striking patterns if you wish." He said with a stern look to the boy. "Most of the moves of course are meant to be used on human beings...and given your...unique structure we will have to alter most of the techniques to suit your build." He explained. It was just like when he was with the dolphin girl.

"I will be your opponent today. And you will listen to every word and command I give you. I do not want to risk having a student of mine hurt and needless to say I do not wish to suffer any wounds either." he said with a nod of his head as he moved over towards a couple of thicker matts.

He slithered a long toward the mats that the teacher had motioned to, all for starting this class. Working on throws sounded like it could be a lot of fun... though he wondered how the man was going to throw him. He gave a mental shrug, it should be interesting to see if he did attempt it. The striking patterns sounded like even more fun.

"Sure thing, wouldn't be any fun for either of us to get hurt." He said, after all if hurt the teacher he doubted that the guy would be willing to give him another class and then where would he be? No more classes that ended in 'jutsu' he supposed.

Kuyoja nodded his head firmly as he positioned himself in front of his student. He was glad to see that the boy realized how important it was for him to listen. He paused only a moment before he launched into explaining one of the simpler techniques for a throw.

"When throwing someone you have to understand their body posture and momentum. There is no point wasting energy and time trying to throw someone opposite from where their charged from. You need to allow for yourself to get close but not be grappling. The element of surprise will help achieve it." He explained shifting his feet apart looking as if he himself were about ready to launch an attack on the cobra boy.

"Granted not everyone you come across with have training; some will be sloppy others relying on brute strength. " He continued, his gaze fixated on the boy. "Now if I were to come up to you you would need to find a way to not allow me to come at you straight on. YOu need to be at the side of me so you are able to use your arms without fear of being pinned."

Ter couldn't help but chuckle a bit, "I know how that is, I mean I relied a bit on brute force in a few fights myself." He admitted, in a lot really until he started to get a feel for fighting. He was in enough of them of late that he better understood it wasn't always going to work out for him.

He listened closely before giving a nod of his head, he did have a bit of an advantage in being able to move himself in strange ways which would help in getting himself to the side. What he was saying about grappling, it was his favorite way to fight after all. He had a lot of coils to help in that.

The snaked faced off with the teacher, watching the way he was moving. The man looked as though he were going to attack at any time which had his coils tensed up.

Kuyoja didn't doubt that the boy had been in several fights before. Giving his mannerisms he was pretty sure he had instigated as few of them as well. He shifted his footing slightly, it slid backwards as he adjusted his weight, he only gave the boy a small nod as a warning as he suddenly sprung forward. Despite leaping his footsteps were light, they barely made a sound on the floor.

He came at the boy, it didn't look like he was playing a game, or even teaching a lesson at this point. It looked very much like he was going at the Cobra boy with every intention to attack.

He came up to him fast his hands up and ready in a jistu style, there were no fists fights in his class. Everything was trained, and he was going to prove that point.

It took everything that Ter had to do as the teacher had told him to do, to flow to the side so that he could try to catch the teacher instead of lunging forward to meet him like he wanted too. He felt the overwhelming desire to do that but instead he used all of his coils in an attempt to flow out of the way of the man instead.

"Woah." He murmured, grinning as he started to do as the teacher had wanted. Neat, he was starting to like this teacher more and more, he was actually neat when he wasn't droning on and on about boring defensive crap...

Kuyoja was impressed though it didn't show on his face, he had expected the boy to lunge at him out of instinct. HE came up fast and quickly his body a mer breaths away from Ter's chest he stopped on a dime.

"You moved well, now that I am in the correct position you can easily use a arm to place against my neck here." He explained taking one of Ter's hands to showing him the appropriate place to lay it.

"You do this to force your opponent in the direction you want." He continued as he then looked over the boy trying to figure the best next move for him. The traditional way was to knock the person's legs out from under them but with the boy not having legs...

"How well can you control your coils?" He inquired seriously.

Ter gave a sighing sound of relief when he realized he'd done well, when the teacher stopped short to continue the lesson and he was able to relax himself. He wasn't at all used to fighting carefully or fighting with in a way that required thought. As such his body had wanted to move on its own despite what he was being taught. This stuff was a lot harder then he'd first thought it would be.

The snake look note of the use of leading one's opponent about by the neck and grinned a bit, yes... that could be useful he thought to himself, filing the information away for later.

"Control them? Rather well they are a part of me." He said, wondering exactly what the man meant. He could get them to do most anything he wanted really, "Only thing they suck at is climbing ladders."

Kuyoja nodded his head and then indicated with a gesture to look down. "You would need to knock my legs out from under me. Usually a human being would hook a leg with their own and pull. You will need to be able to do this as well but with your coils instead." He instructed looking over the boy again wondering if perhaps all he needed was his weight advantage. But then again...if he came across anyone with similar weight...

"I can fall safely to the ground. I want you to try it." He informed the boy as he indeed knew many ways to fall safely so unless theboy did something really stupid he would be fine. He releaxed his body so Ter would have an easier time of forcing him down.

Ter starred at his teacher for a long, long moment looking rather like he didn't trust what he was being told, "Wait... let me get this straight... you want me to knock you over?" He asked, that didn't quite sound right to him. Sure one learned by doing but to have a teacher tell him to go ahead and knock him down...

He gave a shrug and his coils moved then, end of his tail leading to wrap around one of the teacher's legs as quickly as he could move his coils before giving a swift tug and used his hand on the man's neck as he was shown how.

While the entire motion was rather fun he was a little worried about the end results and the teacher's attitude after he was knocked over. He couldn't count any teachers that would willingly allowed themselves to be thrown and stay happy about it.

Kuyoja was pleased that Ter was able to make use of his coils swift and efficiantly...even as he found himself crashing to the ground his arms came out to stop himself from smashing face first into the floor. He of course allowed his arm to bend so that he didn't far the feeling out of them and giving a twist of his leg he rolled to the side and free'd himself from Ter's grasp.

Moving he went to stand up. "Very good. I wasn't expecting you to have so much control over your coils. A surprise attack like that would foil many other attackers." He replied in his own sort of priase. He dustedhimself off lightly as he moved back over to his student. "Of course not everyone will be able to react as quickly as I can you have a very great advantage over others that way." he continued.

"Of course the next part is pinning the person to the ground...and that should be simple enough given your size and weight advantage. I don't suppose you coil around people do you?" He asked sounding a bit like he was hoing Ter didn't do those sorts of things to others but had a feeling he did.
