Everything is well! New home, New Family, and a new career. Ever since We set the foundation for the guild a few years back it has been nothing but constant change for me. That was the main reason I left everything to mythic. BTW is he still around? I think, at least for now, I've settled. Been doing ALOT of bag work lately with my boxing thai boxing and savate strikes. seems to be the only thing i have time to slip in with the way my schedule has been. Speaking of slipping, thats one thing I need to improve on also. Anyone have any tips?

*Also been using the Bas Rutten MMA workout CD as a drill for striking while doing my bagwork. xp

Like a boring regular a** job. Dealing with people everyday in the wireless communications business. But hey, it pays.

Definately good to see ya mate 3nodding I've pm'd you and whatnot.

Hehe sounds like me these days... Lots of bag work and bi-weekly sparring session with friends.

Tips with what mate? Finding time to work, rest, play, and train into a 24 hour day? Buggered if I know.. Unless we petition to have days extended by six hours or something xp

Solo? Not much I would say.. Shadow boxing etc. I practise as I'm working punches on the bag, slipping imaginary punches then counter punching. Its an area of my game that I did put a lot of work into tho, the best practise is of course working it with a partner. You know anybody you can throw some punches around with?
Back in my tkd days we used to practise slipping kicks a lot too, but its a lot easier what with kicks being slower and more obvious.

Nah, no one to spar with. Daily at least. I heard that a lot of boxing trainers in mexico have a method for developing those techniques by yourself, I havn't the slightest clue though

I've been giving it some thought and maybe some kind of speed ball? Thats about the only thing I can think off. But you are missing out on the whole reading of body language/posture...
Here's me thinking Mexicans were better at running than fighting mrgreen
