Sitting in the sun taking a long relaxing bathe was a pink stripped female lulling away her afternoon as always. For having such an adventurous spirit she was quite the lazy one. For once though the silence wasn't bothering her. Sovel was rather content to enjoy the blazing sun that was not baking her pale fur. Something interesting would come along eventually, she was sure of it, and if it didn't... well.. then she'd have to make a little noise of her own. A little further away in the budding trees was a female as dark as the night itself. Unlike the pink female, she wasn't content in just laying around. She was shifting her way through the trees, checking each one for any signs of supernatural activity that she hadn't caught in the hours before. Something had been happening in these parts but she was having a hard time deciphering it in the daylight. Sighing, she shook her head, letting herself settle down slightly as a ray of light filtered through the leaves to touch her black fur.

There was nothing wrong with making some noise, but of course, he agreed that silence at times were too priceless to disturb. This was not one such time. Phoenix was absolutely baking in the sun, something he'd never get used to. A pink blob in the distance would surely be the answer to his problem. A smile crossed his face as he sent a suddle chuff her way to announce himself. "Soveliss..."The little bit of sun that had filtered through onto the beauties pelt was covered by a figure up in the trees with a swift and slow movement. The lion up within the trees ment no harm, just trying to be free from the heat. However he felt that the lioness below did not deserve to be bothered by on single ray if he could help it. T'was just the way of Tancho.

Hearing the noise caused Soveliss' purple eyes to shift into position where she saw Phoenix. A playful grin couldn't help but replace her lazy expression. Raising herself to her four paws, she stepped passed Phoenix, her tail brushing up to him as she moved. "Hello Phoenix.." Her smile lit up her face upon seeing him. For once she couldn't hide the fact that he always made her feel somewhat more tantalized.
When the light was covered up, Ksiere's gaze instantly raised to the trees. She stopped dead in her tracks when she saw the male, giving a light smile as she lowered her head to his presence. She hadn't expected to see anyone in the woods today but this extra presence was a little bit of a pleasant surprise. Despite this however, she felt completely out of her element and couldn't help but sheepishly regret that she wasn't in more of a civilized place to speak. "Hello Sir.."

That smile that he received warmed his heart next to instantly. "Wow.." Honestly, he hadn't gotten that look from a female in a long time. It was always full of lust and chase, but this one carried sincerity in it. Almost tranced by her eyes he shook himself out of it. "How you going?"
Tancho was a mountain dweller, not treetops, though he knew how to climb with the best of them. Jumping down branch by branch he finally stood before her still clean somehow. "Greetings, Madam." He gave a very deep bow, trying his best not to make his admiration of her pelt too obvious. Indeed this female was very beautiful.

"Mmm... alright. Not much has been happening today. What about you?" She shifted her view to him as her tail wrapped around her body. She hadn't even noticed her own expression nor would she admit to that smile ever meaning anything more than the desire for fun. And yet, there was a small part of her that knew it, even despite her stubbornness. She was finding herself falling for this male.. something she swore she'd never do.
Ksiere couldn't help but smile at this male's honor. It was rare to find someone like her whom still had manners in this day and age. Smiling, she lifted her head from it's bow, her dark purple eyes laying upon him before she began shifting her position through the trees again. She could hardly ever stay still, her own love of travel and freedom made it too hard for her. "So what brings you all the way out here?" She turned her head back over her shoulder so that he could hear her more clearly.

Phoenix decided to allow this sort of akwardness roll off his back and go forth being his normal flirty self. Wrapping around her body following suit of her tail he nuzzled around her neck. Secretly he loved the pink mixed in with his own fur, showing it accidentally with a loud purr. "Goin' alright I guess. Lot better if you'd go swimming with me.."
"I rarely stay in one spot, too many things and lions to observe I suppose. Besides, the heat isn't the most inviting element I could think of. My name is Tancho, may I inquire for yours, miss?" His black eyes darted over her pelt as she moved about, but then came back quickly to her purple orbs. This would be someone he could tell he wanted to get to know a whole lot better, that was for sure.

"Mmm... trying to get me wet already, eh?" Her eyes had lulled shut at some point during the nuzzle and even to her own demise she was enjoying the purr, returning it with her own as she squinted one eye to look at him through her joke. She had a feeling she was letting him get too close, she was letting him get much too intimate and she knew that if it continued this way that something disastrous would happen. However, on the other paw.. she was enjoying it. In this current embrace she found herself a content purring kitten. She wasn't quite sure what had come over her, nor why she was having these sudden urges to just enjoy his company but in a way.. it was slightly nice.
Ksiere paused, her eyes roaming over the male's figure. He had the white and black that she did, though his markings were red based to where hers was purple. He was an attractive male and he seemed to be a bit like her. And yet some part of her didn't know if she could trust him. Was he playing a game? Was he trying too hard to say what he thought she wanted to hear? It seemed a little suspicious to her that they were that much alike, but just maybe there were more forces at play than just the two of them in this ragtag meeting. "My name is Ksiere Sir." She lowered her head once more to the introduction. He was charming at least. "I'd have to agree with you though.. neither can I stay in one place for too long, and I can't say that the heat or even the sun for that matter is on my list of favorite elements." She gave a soft smile, there was no sense going into this thing thinking that everyone would be out to harm you. Or at least, she tried convincing herself of that.

While she could not see him a little bit of a smirk emerged, turning into one full of confidence, "Damn, you're onto me." Phoenix was shocked that she was still in one spot, but now this was a place for him to take the upper hand. Stepping away from her now he looked back into her eyes with a couple of feet between them. "So how about it? Want to get wet with me, Soveliss?"
Tancho's expectations dropped down to nothing, he knew better than to allow himself to get excited about much of anything. Checking himself once again he couldn't help but smile at her, a truthful sincer smile, "nice to make your aquaintence Miss Ksiere. May I sit down? I'm afraid I took a wrong hop off of a branch." His smile turned to one of mild sheepishness.

Soveliss watched him move away but she still decided to not make any movements of her own. "Sure I suppose.." She finally got up, watching him with every step she made, even when she passed him. Sitting down on the shore, she curled her tail back around herself, staring into the water before a smirk touched her face. "Catch me." After that she immediately dove into the water.
"Of course, I don't own the woods." She smirked just slightly and motioned. Hearing the last of his statement she couldn't help but twist her head a little. "Are you alright?" Her voice was now filled with concern, one of her many weaknesses.

Without thinking and with a huge grin on his face Phoenix lunged for her and then straight into the water. The water felt so great surrounding every inch of his body, there was truthfully nothing greater. Well... Aside fro that beautiful pink lioness not far from him when he reemerged. "Oh you're so mine now..." Flipping his hair out of his eyes he took off as fas as he could getting closer and closer to her.
"Thank you Ma'am, I'll be fine, I beleive. If you'll forgive my curiosity, may I ask to know more about you?" Tancho winced a bit as he sat down, he may have strained a muscle but not much more than simply that.

Smirking at the thought of a chase, Soveliss pushed herself through the water, cutting through it effortless as she shot forward. "You have to try harder than that!" She called back to him.
"Are you certain you're alright?" Ksiere found herself saying as she spied upon the male. He seemed to be trying to pretend he was alright, but it was obvious he was in pain. "Umm.." Ksiere had never really been asked to tell her story, she wasn't sure she was that great of a story teller. "I was the priestess for a clan. A diviner.. I spoke to spirits and could tell them things through the divine that I was given access to.. most of that has left me now though once the clan was killed.." She tried to form a smile but it quickly faded when she thought about her past. "And you Sir?"

Phoenix laughed a bit, "Oh I'm just giving you a head start.." Lie. Phoenix wasn't the greatest swimmer in the world, he was too much muscle and muscle does not float. Although he id try to make himself look like he could swim well, he was just slow. Swimming to him was for relaxation not speed, this challenge may be one he failed.
Tancho was immediately taken by her, a female of the divine, he truly was blessed by this meet. "It hurts a bit, however it just needs a good rubdown which I can do once I get back to my pride. I suppose I can call it my pride." Pausing for a moment he thought about it then nodded, "My temporary pride in which I do not stay in for for very long." More nodding more definite now, "Yes. Now my story, I was born to parents that didn't truly love my litter mates and I, they were too inlove with each other to allow cubs into their lives. So we were raised by the pride in the mountains by the elders that took pity on us. Taught us manners, respect and groomed us for nobility even though we lacked the proper bloodline. No one specific spot do I feel home to, but to the savanna I visit to observe the rituals and mannerisms of the flatlanders, it both interages and disgusts me. Recently I met a Queen whos King was her brother, they were left in charge of their very small pride by their Father whom grew tired of it with no instructions. I am now the advisor to the siblings, giving advise and teaching them how to run a proper pride."

"Truly?" For the first time that night the male had finally caught her attention as her eyes laid upon him. "It must be interesting in the mountains... I haven't been up there in years.. The work with the King and Queen must be interesting. Some days I wish I were an adviser again. My position in my old pride was not one to be taken lightly..." She let her voice drift off as she continued to move through the trees, trying to hide the shame she felt for not doing something to stop their demise. Truth was, she should have been stronger, she should have done more to protect them. However, that was the past now.. "You seem as though you've had a very interesting life.." Her tone was quiet and contemplative as she said this. She hoped he'd tell her more about himself now, it wasn't often that anyone really caught her interest, at least not for this long.
Pulling her head back, Sovel couldn't help but muster a laugh. He was falling behind rather quickly, and he called himself adventurous. Still chuckling, she slowed herself down just a little bit, trying to allow him some room to catch up to her. "Come on Slow Poke! If you catch me you just might get a reward in the end.." Maybe sweetening the pot would push him to work a little harder, though even if it didn't at least she could rub it in his face that she won. That would be fun after all.

The temptation of something extra did endeed push Phoenix to want more and push harder, but how hard could he exactly go? Catching up to her now (finally) he grumbled a bit and slipped under the water and flipped upside down so that he blended in with the rest of the darkening water. Closer and closer he got with one breath until finaly he wrapped his paws around her. Surface swimming was not his thing, under the surface was where he did his best. Coming back up he laughed flipping his mane out of his face. "Gottcha..."
Tancho smiled and nodded, finally the female was opening up to him. "Yes ma'am, truely. The mountains are beautiful, especially in the wintertime. Although it's really cold, it gives you good reason to get close to someone." A very truthful, sensitive smile crossed his face, not one of pervert. "I have been blessed with an interesting life, I'd honestly love to hear more about yours though. Perhaps one of these times I could take you up there?"

Feeling the arms grasp her, Sovel let out a quick gasp, feeling herself drift under the water, kicking and paddling to try and get away. Chuckling, she finally managed to pry herself loose, "Well, finally.." She grinned mischievously. "Now.. the question is... was it actually worth that reward..?"
"More about my life?" Ksiere cocked a brow, shaking her head softly to the side. "I'm not certain that there really is anything more to tell about me... I'm sure I'm not as interesting as you." She smiled a little, ducking below a leaf sprinkled branch. At the thought of the mountains her smile turned a little larger and she couldn't help but nod. "It would be wonderful to see them again..."
