alot of you may be surprised by this but im not choosing fire...i may be a pyro but i am choosing Lightning and Air
Lightning: because it can be used as a tool for fear and it calms me down when i see it....it makes me feel a...balence if you will....as does wind....i love it when its windy
Air: or wind...wind makes it possible to create mass destruction.....or bring about a peacefull situation....for me a windy day makes me smile for many reasons....but my main reason for choosing Air is wind could help you to levatete of fly and that just kiks arse

lol, i never would have guessed that about you.......
i would have to say my powers would be dark and water.
Water just calms me down, and even though its a powerful destructive force, when i get into it, its like I melt away and become one with it. Not to mention its like I can almost hear it talking to me sometimes.
Darkness because just as there is a fun and light side to the world, darkness must be there to work in harmony with the light. Darkness is the secret, mysterious side that holds many secrets in its shadows, but can help the person in need at any time.
Yeah, thats me in my elemental nutshell!

I always have issues when it comes to this, because I am immediately pulled in three directions when it comes to elements, in everything I do. Water, Fire and Earth. The order varies with no definite pattern. But if I had to pick only two (and I'm supposed to go with just one for some thing sweatdrop ) then I would pick these:
Earth: I would choose Earth because I have always had a deep connection with it. Ever since I was little I loved camping, because it meant I could be outside all of the time without being taken back in. (Also because of the fires we always had) Trees and animals are why. I love being in contact with trees, feeling the bark or leaves or being high enough in the branches of a tree to feel the breeze on my face, feel the tree rocking beneath me. If I had the power to make things grow, to heal plants of their diseases, to commune with nature itself... it would be absolutely wonderful.
Water: My second choice. Being in a river, stream, lake or pond is the most soothing thing in the world to me. Because it means I'm near trees and water. Water keeps things alive, without it we would all die. Even the air we breathe has water in it. To be able to create water, to control it, to cause rain or floods or purify water poisoned by man would make me a very content woman.
My friends and family would die of shock if they knew I didn't choose Fire. Whenever I have the chance, I make a fire and the bigger and hotter the better. But, in this, I will go for Earth and Water.

If I had the power to make things grow, to heal plants of their diseases, to commune with nature itself... it would be absolutely wonderful. I completely agree with what you there. I would DEFINATELY choose Earth. I have ALWAYS loved plants and animals (particularly trees). But unfortuneately, I'd have to take the chance of having powers of Earth element for granted, and destroy things. Well, I wouldn't destroy things, but I'd go in the middle of big cities and overgrow them to the point that nithing worked. Either that or I'd just find a nice place in nature, grow a house and orchard and live there for the rest of my life.

I'd choose water. It is a force of life and can also be a force of death. It is two-faced. It can be a calming oasis in a desert or a deadly ocean rip-current. It is needed for life, yet can sometimes cause death, however its good outweighs its evil.

Soothing, calming and it clears you of any woe. I was caught up between water and darkness, those are the ones in which I am called to the most. I love the oblivion of the night, of darkness. You feel comfortably alone, solitude, to connect with the universe, yet completely surrounded because it's all around you. It's the most wonderful feeling to sit outside in the wee hours of the night on the dew kissed ground and channel. Dark and water are for me. heart

I have to go with Air/wind and lightning.

There no need to hesitate..
My first is WATER because I was raised by water. Ever since I was 2 my family (my mom and me) would go to the pool. I was a natural swimmer. At five when other were learning to swim in the three feet, I was learning to swim in the 5 feet and not to far after I was going off the low and high dive. Water to me symbolises the unknown, mystery, intuition, hope, the origin of life and most of all LOVE heart "Love is a river I want to keep flowing". Water maybe desturctive sometimes,b ut I love it for it beauty and claming nature. When I swim my mind travels to my memories. My love for water is unconditional.
My secound is Earth beauces it smybolizes to me streagh, nurturing, life, the untamed, the wild, and memories. Everyone in my family pants a tree for every new born baby (mine was a willow tree which is the symbol for the element of water).
The water is my mother and the earth my protector. I trust them with my life.

I'd have to go with earth and water *gasp* I know that would come to a surprise to some people (I often draw water/fire as the favored element).
Water: well because I'm terrified of fire for some reason, although I love candles fire itself upsets me, while water is calming most of the time.
Earth: because its there, I love plants and animals, my allergies don't but I do and I'm drawn to earthy people it would seem.

Oterys Water: well because I'm terrified of fire for some reason, although I love candles fire itself upsets me, while water is calming most of the time. I used to be both petrified and excessively curious about fire. However now, I know that if I'm just using a candle or somthing of the sort it's pretty safe and controllable. However, fire is a mysterious, and oftentimes dangerous element. It can go from a minute spark to a raging inferno in a matter of seconds.

It is needed for life, yet can sometimes cause death, however its good outweighs its evil. I would also choose water because of the reasons that DreamerSpirit stated and because water fits my personality. My feelings tend to be ever-changing like water. I can be calm at one moment but then be a raging sea-storm the next. When I'm not having a good day I tend to be moody, like a lake with choppy waters. There is a small waterfall near my house and I like to walk there to listen to the running water, which is very calming for me. The element of my zodiac sign Cancer is also water. A second element is harder for me to choose but I would have to say the element of Light. Light is always associated with enlightenment and healing, even divinity. Also when one thinks of a life force one often imagins light. The image of light is commonly used during meditation, and different colored lights represent chakras. Light always gives me the image of warmth and being one with my inner being. Light can also be very beautiful in nature, a column of light from a cavern ceiling or light bending water droplets to create a rainbow. One thing I love to do is star-gazing, looking at pinpionts of light peeking through the darkness. Light also reflects the cheerful, optimistic part of my personality.

It is often a symbol of the healing side of divinity, the creator, a comforting entity... it can be just so beautiful as well... However, I wouldn't choose it as one of the elements I would control, because I'm more for duality... for without darkness, what is light?
